You could say his bond with any main girl is the same so no particular one reigns on top. He lacks narrative importance. He's not an important enough character to anyone in the core cast to have that kind of attention placed on him. At best, he'll get turned into an out-of-control self-destructive blob who Accelerator has to take down. Like imagine if Mercenary Tao showed up again and became a major antagonist after Goku defeated King Piccolo.

The biggest issue is that Touma has zero connection with this guy. If he's actually gonna reach Level 6, Kakine would become a threat on the same level as Othinus was in her own arc. He'd be at the center of a multi-novel arc and Touma has absolutely no idea who he is. The only ones who'd be able to conceivably beat a Level 6 Kakine are Aleister, Touma or Kamisato, but Aleister never gave him the time of day and Touma/Kamisato don't know him so it wouldn't be very satisfactory. And it's not like becoming even more angel-like would allow Accelerator to beat Kakine; that'd be like expecting Gabriel to defeat Magic God Othinus. Gabriel can fuck up the planet, Othinus can literally erase reality.

No one actually wants to read an arc spanning multiple novels where Touma punches a recurring character that he has absolutely no connection with whatsoever. And it's not like Accelerator's ever gonna make it to Level 6 because Kamachi would never make an omnipotent god one of the main characters.

Actually, Touma does have three connections with him.
Its Othinus, Beetle and Accelerator. Othinus is definitely on the list of "targets" that Kakine will have after what she did, and since Touma will most obviously oppose him, in accordance with Kakine's philosophy that makes Touma a new name on his list. Once he learns that Touma is the one who beat Accelerator you better fucking believe that he'll be on Touma's ass to prove that he is better then Accelerator in every possible way. Bastard actively attempted to avoid collateral in NT6 while fighting Accelerator because Accelerator did the same thing during his fight with him. Touma will manage to mediate with Kakine through Beetle somehow, and most likely avoid the worst case scenario.

In a series where a normal highschool boy can beat a magic god and a level 0 beats a level 5 with little issues, Kakine will be beaten.

There are many ways to end Kakine:

-Accelerator beats him with the abyss knowledge hax with help

-Accelerator straight up overpowers him with a new mode/wing

-Kakine gg'es himself again

-Beetle and Fraluien somehow interfere with lvl 6

-Touma tags in like he did in NT4 despite barely knowing anyone there

-Kakine self-destructs and it becomes about stopping his last effort

-Kakine actually gets "saved" by Accelerator now that he's the chief and is trying to break the barrier into heroism

All in all, I don't think level 6 is maintainable state so even if both Accel and Kakine reach it, I doubt it'll last for long. Level 6 shouldn't be absolute omnipotence, we've kind of saw how Mikoto remained in her epser field of control instead of pulling off random shit.

It still wouldn't be satisfying. The only one who can defeat Kakine in a satisfactory manner is Accelerator, since he's the one with the most direct rivalry with him. Touma is largely unrelated; at best he's comparable to a "friend of a friend". Kakine has the unfortunate circumstance of being a recurring antagonist who has never met the protagonist. If that's all he was, then you can still have Accelerator beat him no problem. But if you actually boost Kakine to Level 6, then Touma has no choice but to get involved because this shit would threaten the entire damn planet.

You can't beat someone who can rewrite reality through brute force. Did you forget what Othinus did? She blew away reality with a thought. The only way Touma had of beating her was to appeal to her humanity over the course of a billion different resets.

There is nothing in the narration that says that Thor can defeat Accelerator, only that he can't be killed and will avoid a defeat which doesn't always equal victory.

NT8/9/10, NT20/21/22 and OT20/21/22 are clearly the top 3, but the order really depends on the person. I'd personally go WW3>Othinus>Coronzon but now that we've got an NT22 follow up coming I might leave judgement of that arc until after I've read it.

NT9/10 is the best to make MADs of because of the concept/how it plays out. NT20-22 is essentially WW3 2.0, although that may change with NT22R now

There are plenty of characters who basically strut their badassedness, and they are liked just fine, like Rakan from Negima. Oriana actually fits well in that she is professional while also being able to have fun. She is pretty much Touma's kryptonite and you know it. Pity she doesn't get to work with the cast that often.

It's complicated. There are two timelines in the Negima/UQ verse. Chisame wins in the good timeline, aka Negima's actual ending where Asuna returns. Negi confesses to her at graduation but she turns him down, but they're shown getting married later. UQ Holder is the bad timeline, where Asuna hasn't woken up. In that one he never confesses to her and she gets killed by the Lifemaker.

You could see it coming just like how you could see it coming in Negima. Japanese authors tend to (wrongly) do that. They have many super viable picks, but have the competition just flatline sharply all of a sudden in the story. That's why there is always so many wonky scenarios of girls who should totally win out but there are more roadblocks than a destruction derby for that pairing - examples being like Sakura and Shirou, Hanekawa and Araragi, Misaki and Touma, list goes on. She’s basically a search engine for Accel to use and he can convert the network into Aeon gibbing spears (potentially AIM in general) and more, and that’s without The clonoth trinity where he can control macro to
Micro and potentially more. They made a law hierarchy out of the network and forced Astral projecting so both current base and trinity boosted Accel can do different things.

Yeah, but that was the Will of the Misaka Network's doing, giving him a boost. I'm talking about during the fight against Nepthys. The Will granted 545 access to the Network, and this granted 545 control over the Third Tree which she handed over to Accelerator. The wings didn't appear during that fight. All controlling the Third Tree seemed to do is allow Accelerator's vector control to work effectively on magic.

It was only after that, when the Will gave Accelerator a boost, that the wings appeared and Accelerator was able to move the tree and force Coronzon out of her body. This means that 545's grandiose little speech about the Third Tree and granting her master control over it simply amounted to her installing a search engine and connecting it to Accelerator's brain.

Well it's kinda difficult for her to meet Touma. First off, the Will only materializes when she feels that she needs to. She has a limited number of "tickets" and if she appears too much, it'll be harder for her to return again. Second, she needs a terminal; she can't just show up out of nowhere, she can only appear if there's a SISTER that she can possess.

Now think about Touma's circumstances. Even if she might want to help Touma, since there are rarely any SISTERs around him, she can't really reach him when she needs to. He has a habit of running around all over the place, even cross-country, so reaching is difficult for anyone. Plus the fact is the best way for the Will of the Misaka Network to assist Touma is by assisting Accelerator.

Monogatari is deep and thought-provoking with characters that at a glace seem to be tropey shallow characters. But if you dig deep you'd find them unique and multilayered with wants, aspirations, and insecurities.
