Last time, Takashi, Mitsu and the other junior members had to scrounge up 50,000 yen selling ZEROS stickers to be able to go to a meeting with the gang's higher ups. In class, bored with the teacher's lecture Takashi lashed out and kicked a desk getting bitched out by the teacher afterwards. While hanging out with Mitsu, Maasuke (another member of their group) showed up saying some delinquents from another school were looking to fight. Takashi and Mitsu ran down but Shinya was there and the other guys decided to back off. Takashi accused Maasuke of bringing them there and the two scrapped.
Collecting enough money, Takashi, Mitsu and Manion went to the meeting where they saw Kuwahara, the head of the ZEROS, and were introduced to two other members: Mako and Kazuya Akegawa. Kazuya especially was an object of frustrated fascination for Takashi and his crew as despite being nominally on their level he can get away with being flippant towards seniors because his sister is Kuwahara's girlfriend and he actually owns his own motorcycle. Takashi and his friends resolved to move forward with more determination so as not to be left in the dust by people like him.
Honestly I'm just glad if I'm getting a few people into the series who might not have otherwise heard of it or checked it out before. Once I'm done with this (which wouldn't be for a few months given that it's over 100 chapters) I'll probably want to do another series too.
Of course volume 13 of Kenrantaru comes out next month and whenever translations for that come I'll have to try and do basically two storytimes for a week or so but no big.
