You can see the official Viz release on Sunday afternoon, but this is Yea Forums so don't tell anyone you did that. There is usually an Yea Forums translation party either Saturday or Sunday depending whose available to translate

I could see it happening in a few ways
1) She's dead and Gone
2) Douma somehow does release Shinobu, maybe while running, but do to her wounds dies shortly after having a heart to heart with Kanao
3) Much like option 2 Shinobu is released but instead of dying she is permanently crippled and has to retire. Kanao becomes the Flower Pillar .
4) Douma turns Shinobu into a demon and sics her on Kanao, which gives us two more options
4-1) Kanao kills Shinobu
4-2) Kanao subdues Shinobu in hopes of
curing her and Douma gets away

I'm surprised at how quickly the pillars have been getting killed off. It'd be like reading BLEACH and seeing all of the captains getting picked off in the first arc or Naruto with it's Jonin's.

Because unlike Bleach and Naruto, this series has a definitive victory condition. The Death of Muzan directly resolves the series conflict, and there's no room for the editor to force the author to pad it out with added filler arcs. The series will probably end around chapter 230-250, which I consider to be a good thing.
