So Chihiro hears about his conditioning using rakugou, and in particular how the key is that he keeps trying to tell a particular tale right, but at the end he is not satisfied with it and starts over from the beginning, making it last a long time. Chihiro thinks this just makes him sound like an old grandfather that smashes everything he does.
Kuzumi still thinks Yugami isn´t right in the head, but it works. And it works so well that Yugami is literally soloing this baseball game, striking out everyone and even scoring a home run. His teamates start wondering what they are even there for...

And Yugami wins the game with one last strike out. It´s a no hit, no run - a shutout. Chihiro doesn´t really understand the excitement, but what it means it´s that not even after at least 27 attempts did the opposing team manage to score a single point, or even legitimately reach first base (if they didn´t reach first base at all it would have been a perfect game, but i can´t say if that happened). It´s kinda like a football team winning a game decided on penalties by having the goalkeeper defend every goal.
It seems Kuzumi managed to motivate the other players by pointing out Yugami once narrowly missed a no hit no run due to the pressure, thus that he needs the support of the team too (Yugami wasn´t even listening to what she said).

You know, this kind of makes me feel like this manga is a mashup of shoujo and shonen. Like the lead of a shonen manga, Yugami, was thrown in together with the lead of a shoujo manga, Chihiro. Obviously there are key differences -- Yugami is way too crass and crude for the typical shonen hero, Chihiro is way too awkward and socially desperate for the typical shoujo heroine, but it still kind of works out in a weird way.
