Gave me a chuckle

That's a pretty cool magic shit, Luvia.
Hopefully we could get a lot of this in Case Files anime too.

An interest approach to translation that's for sure.

This scene is really fucking cool, too bad this case won't get animated.
Btw, im kinda surprised that Luvia falls for Shirou instead of Waver after this lol

I mean Shirou's the one with the harem powers after all it's his sorcery trait.

btw, El-Melloi II Times vol 1 is now available for free. You can download and read it at anime.elmelloi.com. It has short introductions about Lord El-Melloi II, Svin and Flat + an interview with Makoto Sanda (nothing new or special, but Sanda says Gray and Melvin are the first two characters that he created for Case Files) + some basic terms for learning magecraft world.

Details about vol 2 will be revealed later.

>+ some basic terms for learning magecraft world.

Should be a must for every nasuverse work desu, the amount of people who don't have a clue...

Luvia complaining about Gems is so OC.

The point of Luvia's creation is to be so rich that Rin's poorness stands in deep contrast.

Luvia complaining about wasting gems is therefore OC.

This Luvia is nothing like the past portrayals of Luvia. Her badass male butler isn't even here who likes washing Shirou's back.

It's just gem magic spamming from Luvia in this manga even though she's a really good wrestler judging from a previous F/SN fighting game.

Because this Luvia barely has any similar personality to past portrayals of Luvia.

She lost all the stereotypical ojou-sama traits.

I wouldn't even call this Luvia anymore.

Here are all terms from vol 1, in case you need. Nothing new anyway:
>Mage
>Magic Circuits
>Magical Energy
>Mystic Code
>the Root
>Holy Grail War
>Mage's Association
>Clock Tower
Speaking of which, i think making a glossary about magecraft world before the anime is a very good decision from Case Files staff, especially when this work has a lot of lore stuff in Nasuverse. Usually they just fully explain it on materials, which is usually (again) released after the original work.

Did you read previous chapters ? The situation is they are currently stuck in the middle of nowhere and Luvia doesn't have many gems together with her now (she has used a lot of it before this happens). Not to mention that she really really hates Waver (Luvia literally told Flueger to kill him when they started cooperating to solve this case together). Also her butler does appear.

I'm pretty sure it was stated before that Luvia without being with Rin is an extremely serious and smug democratic magus before, though. Just look at those conversations between her and Orlocke since the beginning.

I'm not sure why wrasslin would be very relevant here. It's kind of a more cerebral stage to be doing something like that, specially when the prodigy who was specialized in combat got trashed.

As for personality, I havent seen much of Luvia outside of the cameo appearances in the VN and that meme Prillya, but to me it seems like she can get away with all the ohohoing when she's bickering with Rin, but has to act more dignified and "magus-like" in front of, you know, actual magi. Don't know what to tell you about the penny-pinching though, that does seem ooc.

Nice.

Thanks for the dump.
