Watching Heidi finally. It's really cute but the 'oh no a goat is going to fall' thing is a bit repetitive. Also watched the first episode of Wonder 3 last night, shame only 4 episodes are subbed, big improvement animation wise on Tezuka's first series.

Mahoromatic (not pre-2000s, but it's cel animated early on, so stow it)
first season impressions: the ecchi is too trashy and over-the-top for my taste, but there's still some of that Gainax magic in it here and there. maybe it will improve in the second season
second season impressions: oof. nevermind...

This was very fun and easy to watch. Like a palate cleanser. Shame it's only 7 episodes and the manga is untranslated.
