He was completely pissed off when Coronzon shat on her as well. If he learns that Aleister's "dead" and so his ideal fairy tale ending in which the father(?) and daughter who were separated by unfair circumstances were finally able to reunite and live together couldn't come to pass, it might break his heart.

If he just thinks Aleister is dead for a moment it wouldn't be the same, it'd just be Othinus again.

Trust me, I actually do want to see Touma deal with the fact he can't always save everyone, but it seems like Kamachi is always narrowly avoiding it. If he proves me wrong I'll gladly concede.

Kakine is way more related to Ra Hoor then Touma or Accelerator. For one thing, why a Beetle? Especially when a beetle is such an important aspect of Ra Hoor? Accelerator will not lose. Kakine will not go the route of a level 6 because Accelerator is already going down that route and might have become one already. Accelerator will go places that Kakine can only dream about.

The Sisters are "sub-characters" to Accelerator, to a lesser extent than characters like Last Order and Worst are, but they are a part of him and his story more than they are a part of Misaka. They've had more development later, sure, but their narrative purpose is to kick-off Accelerator's development.
