You should watch Kemono Friends and Kemurikusa then. The mediocre CGI will make you too blind to enjoy the exceptional writing, direction, and world building.

2D animation mandates a whole lot of cheap poorfag slave labour. But even Chink/Corean/Viet labour is getting expensive nowadays and implying bangladeshis or indos know how to draw good cartoons.
It's plausible that the 2D animation industry could collapse outright leaving only a super tiny amount of niche indieshit studios. But there will always be a strong 3D industry because movie SFX and vidya games.
