I'm enjoying Kimetsu no Yaiba too, but it's pretty basic shounenshit writing, with training arcs, with characters written out of the plot when dealing with them would be too complicated, with jarring backstories that make a villain endearing for no reason.... It's only not considered shit because we haven't gotten sick of it yet. This is the kind of show that could go for 100+ episodes with lots of filler and extending arcs for no reason. The writing is very average.
Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu is literally the only anime that started airing this season that will be remembered more than a couple weeks after it finishes airing. Pic unrelated. Demon babe from said shounenshit anime.

How could anyone, like, ANYONE, pick anything but Fruits Basket, the comparison to anything else airing this season is just so wide that is not even funny, Fruits Basket is the AOTS and period.
Now that's settle we can talk about the second best anime of the season, and that spot is a really hard one for me, Robihachi and Hitoribocchi are fighting for it, I thought Robihachi was going to win the spot but that episode 6 of Hitoribocchi was just fucking great, 3 days later and i'm still singing WA HA HA.

I don't think it's that good. The writing seems to be pretty typical of shounen-oriented works, which means it's not that good and not very engaging, to me at least. The premise is fairly interesting however but it doesn't look like they'll be using it to its potential, as in Nezuko so far seems to exist as a motivation provider for Tanjiro rather than having her unique existence and relationship with him and other humans play a more critical part. Maybe that will change, but considering the writing style and typical story patterns employed so far I wouldn't really think so, it all seems too formulaic for anything truly interesting to come out of it.
The anime still seems to be pretty well executed, so I'm still finding it enjoyable.

Either Kimetsu or Hitoribocchi. The former does have generic shounen writing, but so far nothing too annoying has happened and aside from some awkward CG it got good production values and is arguably more ambitious than Hitoribocchi, but I kind of enjoy that show more.
