Fun series -02 and Tri are trash though. Tailmon is best character in the entire franchise and I loved her story arc. As for which series are my favorite that has to be Adenture, Tamers, and Xros. I really liked Xros Wars. Fuck you powerlevel fags.

Daily reminder that Frontier is really underrated and underappreciated despite its flaws and that just because it didn't have partner digimon doesn't make it a bad series. Also daily reminder that Frontier gave birth to some of the best digimon Kumamon, Kazemon, Agunimon, BurningGreymon, Ranamon, fucking Grumblemon who continued to wreck the main cast every time he shows up. Reminder that Frontier had the best digimon theme of a full on digimon race war. Another reminder that Frontier had the best OP both Japanese and English.

Adventure is my favorite season, easily. Koushiro is my favorite character, it's funny that it took me years to realize that I took interest in IT as career after watching adventure.

It's by no means a bad series, but the flaws are pretty weighty. The final arc with the Knights is a serious drag where it's pretty much "Welp, got to have the world get really fucked up and the kids put so far on the ropes it'll look like BDSM porn as they get their collective asses spanked by their nigh-invulnerable new foes" for 10 whole episodes. Had they allowed some of the other kids to get fusion spirit forms and the ones where they trade spirits to one another, it would have helped things immensely even if the overall goal was to still have the villains steal world data.

- Least favorite idea was probably the armor evolutions.
- favorite idea expressed was the alternate passage of time between the real world and the digiworld, it made for a very good moment of "tai is gone" in the original series, which was the reason that he was presumed dead for a while in tri as well; everyone should have noticed that tri was pretty much just a nostalgia cash grab in terms of new ideas, while admittedly furthering character growth.

Which digimon would you like to see? I'm not taking requests rn but which are "less appreciated"? I'm going to rig a renamon, flamedramon, and angewoman just to have ready to render whenever I want cuz those are fan favorites, but then I'm also going to rig agumon, gabumon, tentomon, and patamon for an "our war game" fan art render. But after that I could rig up and render whatever people want, my insta and pixiv is in pic if you want to request something or check when those are posted since there's not a reliable digimon thread on here.
