It was poorly paced, fights relied too much on trying to seem cooler than the previous installments despite being a prequel, characters were bland and hard to relate to, music is shit, and the ending was Poochie-tier. Even the Frontier episode about it managed to be more memorable.
That said it has a few things I'm weak to. Takes place in a tropical setting, is a fish out of water story, has surprisingly good CGI that still is some of the best I've seen in anime, and it has brown anime girls. "Like" might be too strong a word but but I can't hate it given how much it panders to me.
