My mom forced me to stay indoors as a child so much so I barely leave the house now that I'm an adult. Also, she shunned biking and other forms of public transportation because "that's what poor people do" even though biking isn't seen as a poor people thing. I would start biking places, but the infrastructure of the United States is dog shit, and there are barely any bike lines. That, and the fact that the invention of cars has increased the distance between the homes and businesses. Now, everybody is expected to travel miles just to get to work and back.

A new rider will eventually drop his bike or make a mistake that will hurt him. It’s better to drop a dirt bike In the mud than a sport bike on the road or into a fucking car. All riders need to start on something small, 175cc max, and learn their limits. A sport bike can be severely punishing to anyone who doesn’t know how to handle them, especially a god damn Ninja you twat.
