Started watching it and it's pretty bad. It has a shitty hentai art style and the slice of life school stuff undercuts a lot of the potential atmosphere. Dropped it after 9 episodes.

Lots of good but very standard and safe picks, like you just looked through what the most popular and acclaimed albums for a genre and picked those. At the very least Daikanjyo is one of the best live albums ever made and picking a Psychic TV album instead of something by a more popular related project like Throbbing Gristle, Coil, or Current 93 is interesting but in the end your taste reads like someone who's recently gotten into sub-Yea Forumscore and browsing RYM.

Rewatching Code Geass made me realize all the planning and effort put into it making it my favorite anime once again.

Seriously, it's silly at times but how it handles all the different moods and plot twists for such a large scale is genius.

No he still had to fight for his progress, because he couldn't just blatantly geass his way to the emperor to get his revenge and take over Britainnia liked you'd think and ask yourself while watching the show. It's basically him getting scammed with tons of strings attached. "Hey kid, here's the power to make anyone and everyone obey unconditionally. But you can only use it once, there's no take backs, it only works with direct eye contact, and the more you use it the more you can't control it. Have fun". Not to mention his most of his plans and stats in battle and in alot of politics binds are done because he legitimately thought of them without needing to use his geass. If you want an example of an MC who appears smart but actually isn't at all then see Inaho from Aldnoah.

If you watch Haruhi, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WATCH IT IN BROADCAST (not chronological) ORDER. The second most amazing thing about Haruhi (the first is the balls required to air the Endless 8) is how the director took a shit manga, rearranged the storytelling a little bit, and made it actually fun to watch.

Despite that he never looks like he's in an overwhelming advantage. Geass asspulls more often than not work against him, his opponent is always in a better position or has an even more bullshit power.
Lelouch may spout bullshit, but it's entertaining bullshit. Way better than average isekai retard #98565 whose power is all the powers, plus getting born in a noble house or being friends with god or whatever, with all the commodities or advantages possible.

As a rule I have tried to not re watch anything because it never lives up to my memories. But I broke my rule with this show and it was just as good if not better the second time around. Anyone that can't appreciate CG is someone I wouldn't want to know.

No one can end on season 1 and not continue, you are either lying out your ass or single digit IQ, either way you don't deserve to see the rest. Go back to black clover.

Only saw it once, broadcast I think, didn't get it. Middle episode felt like the end and the last ep felt like it should have been somewhere in the middle. But I guess it subverted my expectations so its great right?
