I dont think anyone does, actually a lot of mc's are very dislikable (eg. shinji), and many villains end up gettign you to root for them. That user is retarded.

I wouldn't go that far, but reversing the point of view would probably help some people understand his character more. His and Lelouch's opposing views were what made Code Geass so entertaining, and stopping at blind Suzaku hate is a sad thing to witness.

The definition you've just given him makes him sounds like a legitimately interesting character. But he never went against his "ideals" at all, it was always to rise legitimately to power and change the system inside, which he quite literally nearly did with Euphie. Ultimately Suzaku is great because he is doomed to suffer, i.g. Lulu's "live" curse. He's a broken character, from the moment he killed his father and that's what makes him so interesting.
