Thanks OP. What a wonderful chapter. Excellent character stuff and important life lessons, all while being fairly contained in a single location. And of course, having the weather play an important part in showing the shifting mood is a simple but effective device. I can't say I would've ever expected Aika to cry about people slagging off Akira-sama, while reading the earlier chapters. But her going crybaby over that fact, and acknowledging the hardships her senior has gone through to get her position while being conscious of her own aspects of fortune... She sure has grown.
It seems like Akira-sama has got the life lesson of 'haters gonna hate' down to a tee. I might be interpreting her wrong, but I get the feeling that she has to semi-frequently assume the 'bad cop' role in Himeya for whatever reason. I can't say I'm too up to date with the day-to-day working life of the company, but I know that sometimes it's one of the ways to stop people from getting lazy - and in the worse cases, giving a group a common 'foe' so they can work together to 'fight' it. But I think that latter thought is a tad too strong for Himeya. I think at the end of the day it's just down to competition, and Akira-sama has to remind the trainees that hey - you can't just sleepwalk your way into being a Prima. Shit is serious business, so you'd better work damn hard to succeed.
Venice-wise... nothing I can add here. Himeya company is the Hotel Danieli, which has probably been mentioned already. One thing I'd like to see/try doing, is photoshopping an actual picture of the Hotel so it has the funky Neo Venetian-markings on the facade and the Himeya name replacing Danieli. I wonder if Akira-sama would like to see some of my actual photos of the hotel circa 2013, centuries before it became her place of work.

I like to think that Akira-sama might have a sit down and a chat with the troublemakers. See if they're willing to man up and air their concerns/criticisms with her directly - and then just try and clear the air. But at the same time, being sure to give them some kind of reprimand for talking shit behind her back instead of being straight up about it. While not going overboard with it, as that could just make their prejudices worse and it could undermine the whole 'I want you to be open with me about your opinions' thing. Why be open if she's just going to slap you down again? She seems tough, but fair.
