I just started reading this, why the FUCK do you guys like Nino so much? This page alone was quite satisfying because she's been a massive cunt from the very start, so far that's all her character has been aside from the occasional pity chapter and her obsession with the white haired boy.
I'm assuming she eventually becomes a better person, but damn is she unlikeable.
She's unlikable for being so overprotective of her sisters. Eventually she'll come to accept/ trust Fuutarou thus causing her to stop being so cuntish towards him anymore.
Blake Roberts
My hate for her is quite high right now, somehow I don't see it happening.
Christian Ortiz
Then you won't enjoy the next 40 chapters, my condolences.
Aaron Cooper
Ichika is cool and all but her and Yotsuba are probably the most obvious frontrunners for losing ever created in a manga.
Parker Martin
Oh nice, you just arrived at the arc where Nino turns into the main character and her sister into sidekicks for the rest of the manga. Have fun.
Gavin Martin
You'll really warm up to her. Every quint is cute and likeable once you get to know them.
It's still the quint I love the least (the tsundere full tsun/hate who becomes full dere/love after a development is not my favorite trope), but i accept her now since it's obvious she is the bride now. At least she is not a bitch anymore. still better than a doormat who do nothing if her sisters don't make the job for her
Luke Howard
Trust the user, she becomes quite likeable in the next chapters, you may still not like her much but I think you will at least not hate her anymore.
Bentley Ramirez
> Early Seven Goodbyes arc > conclusion about Nino user, if you want to discuss, you must read all available chapters plz.
Charles Hill
This user gets it
Christian Harris
>conclusion Are you denying how annoying she is at the start of the manga?
Joshua Perez
Don't bother reading further, from now on it's just endless Nino wank for 20 chapters until a explosive moment, some cooldown before going into Nino wank again. This manga peaked with the field trip.
Carter Cox
You can drop manga right now before you realize author Negi gives Nino too much spotlight in 20 chapters next.
Jose Gomez
Start of the manga Nino was the best character.
Levi Moore
And you denying her development? Damn. If you hate her very much like this, stop reading the manga.
She doesn't improve at all unfortunately. The only difference is that she wants the MC's dick now which is all SEAfags really care about. Thankfully she has 0 chance of winning so you mayas well hold out for her rejection.
Reading everything after Seven Goodbyes must be pure torture for anyone who doesn't like Nino. Have fun.
Caleb Allen
This
Carson White
This. Nino haters won't enjoy this manga since this because Negi give her the most development and Nino wank. Expect QuintFags who enjoy Yea Forums burn.
Nathaniel Ross
OK YOTSUBROS, WHY DO YOU LOVE OUR LITTLE ANGEL SO MUCH?
No i'm not denying it at all, in fact I state in the OP that I assume she becomes a better person. That doesn't mean you can't acknowledge how fucking annoying she is at the start of the manga.
Ethan Hughes
Quite easily the shittiest arcs of the manga, especially the later.
>denying her development >cutting her hair and wanting the MC's dick is development She's still just as much of a bitch as she was in the start only difference is wanting to be dicked. She would have spread her legs for any blonde she came across and its been foreshadowed heavily by the author that she will probably fuck some blonde American gaijin.
>she wants the MC's dick The other quints are no different than her. Also based Nino asserting dominance over her coward sisters.
Isaiah Martinez
Sounds to me like you're a bit of a masochist
Bentley Thompson
Someone will fall for that.
Alexander Martin
Nino's dick is pretty huge so that can't be helped.
Benjamin Bennett
Alright now it's pretty clear you're just a faggot.
Hudson Williams
>he doesn't like great big fuuta dicks Look at this faggot and laugh.
Ayden Davis
She is a really slow burn when it comes to development. Just keep reading and by a certain chapter you can see how much she developed as a character when you look at it as a whole.
Jason Kelly
>She's still just as much of a bitch as she was in the start only difference is wanting to be dicked. She would have spread her legs for any blonde she came across and its been foreshadowed heavily by the author that she will probably fuck some blonde American gaijin. > Stop being a bitch to Fuutarou > Start honest herself more than before And you call that is not development? If you say she want Mc's dick, you can say most of girls of this manga want to ride his dick. Not only her. Expect Yotsuba is still pure I guess.
Jason Price
Fall for Nino? Too late man, you should have told me that since chapter 20.
Brayden Rivera
EVERYONE knows she's a bitch and most annoying shit in the early manga. But you just keep saying ' how fucking annoying she is at the start of the manga.' that means you just denial her development later. You want to judge her character? You should judge her character in the current progress of this manga. Not the past. Hating can't help you enjoy this manga. I'm serious.
Isaiah Russell
You're not allowed to love her unless you loved her from the oneshot, like I did. You guys are all just fakers
Ian Martin
You mean ALL of the quints want Fuutarou's dick? Yotsuba and Itsuki will want soon. This is harem, rom-com manga. You can't escape that.
Ian Smith
You hate the author's pet character, I doubt you'll enjoy what awaits further.
Brody Cox
Good luck when you realize your current reading arc and next arc are for Nino.
Justin Morris
HAHAHAHAHA...
Austin Barnes
Stale bread > Dutch baby
Lucas Sullivan
>Stop being a bitch to Fuutarou She's still a cunt to him and tries to ruin his trip for her own ends. She's just as bad as Ichika in terms of personality only difference being she isn't discrete about it however she feels no sense of guilt(which makes her far worse than Ichika).
Not really, just read the manga. Waifufags make it seem like she’s actually doing a lot but all the quints get their time to shine
Jason Clark
Besides Yotsuba and Itsuki, Ichika turns into a cartoon villain so I guess that's her time to shine while Miku is a joke.
Grayson Butler
Nah. She had an arc focused on herself that finished all of her development so now the author doesn't know what to do with her and just adds her in as filler so he can end on cliffhangers with important characters. She has a high chance of being rejected in this arc so that he can get her out of they way to focus on the less developed heroines.
why this one is not out yet ?! I want this as much as my beach chapter!!!
Cooper Barnes
You really don't understand? I said "Stop being a bitch to Fuutarou" that means she started to accept him as their tutor and not bind hate him anymore. If she is a cunt, she can take advanced in current when Miku mental break and Ichika becomes a Snek. But no, she hold her push back and comfort her sister. And if she is a cunt to Fuutarou, she would goes further than just go full force invite him with her only once and do almost nothing to Fuutarou in the rest Sister Wars arc expect helping her sister.
This. WaifuFags just want their waifu win and ignore anything not relate or harm their waifu.
Jose Reyes
Ichika had such a great character arc, and it's actually still really good if you're willing to read between the lines and infer her mental state over this entire thing. It's too bad Negi decided he wanted to be done and rushed the shit out of the second half of this.
Yotsuba black horse win, I'd buy it. My bowl forecast is Miku > Yotsuba = Itsuki > Nino > Ichika
Is this why everything Yotsuba touches dies? Is the 4th quint cursed?
Lucas Wright
bros I can feel in my bones that Nino probably won’t win, but I’m gonna get like triple punched because people will be mocking all Nino fans equally for years.
Levi Kelly
I'll vouch for you, Yea Forumsnon.
Benjamin Kelly
Eatsuki best grill.
Chase Bell
She's absolutely horrible. The worst.
What else? Yeah...
I love her.
Matthew Howard
I hear that Nino is the most compatible amongst the quints with cancer, so your odds are good Yea Forumsnon.
Angel Nguyen
Nino and Ichika seem to me like the ones who were always the real contenders in the Fuutaroubowl. He's gotten involved in shit the most with them from the festival arc onward. Itsuki is just a distraction, and Miku and Yotsuba are cute sideshows.
Michael Johnson
You're probably right, she'd make some pretty primo pork chops with all that fat content.
Joshua Wilson
Damn, it somehow looks like something I would've saved 15 years ago.
Thomas Morales
Scrambled Eggs I get, but Sisters' War? The arc is total shit unless you just love bread.
Nicholas Wood
死 is associated with 四, coincidence?
Christian Jackson
As an actual Cancer, I'd be fine with that if I cared about Astrology.
It would be very sad if Yotsuba was low-key cursed because she was the 4th quint. Negi why have you 4saken her. fuck.
I can fix that, Yea Forumsnon. Most of us have better things to do than shitpost your trash waifu, contrary to the victimization narrative you faggots like to run, but I'll do it if asked.
Most probably yeah. We don't actually know when the decision for S2 was finalized, but production take 1-2 years so if it was not planned to have 2 seasons from the start you can't get the anime to release fall this year.
>tfw stitch user dropped the animoo around the 4th episode I just wanted more stitches
Luis Brown
I require Nino x Fuutarou moments in this new chapter. I hope I am not disappointed. I probably will be.
I wonder what the mass speculation based on six whole panels will be this week?
Grayson Williams
It's uncommon for them to make an s2 for an anime that'll be done serializing isn't it? Did the BDs sell that well that they don't even need the market bump for the manga?
Liam Cooper
Weren't they getting like 10k a volume? Or did I misheard it...
every quint btfo, sidetail chan true best girl, maruo was lolikano all along, Takebayashi is the stalker, and Takeda marries Raiha sounds about right for 6 panels.
>Yea Forumsnon Wow, you're that retarded shitposter from previous toubun threads who got his low quality posts deleted and was trying to shill that botched LOVE translation despite not knowing a word of Japanese. Get a trip so that everyone can filter you. You're a waste of time.
Uncommon, but not like it doesn't exist. Currently airing Fruits Basket will be adapting the manga completely. BDs sell pretty well, 10k and 4k for vol. 1-2 IIRC, which is high in todayst digital/streaming age. The manga boost is massive anyway.
Sebastian Thompson
HOW MANY HOURS TILL RAWS ITS ALMOST TIME LADS
Isaac Thompson
Nino's...thighs...*wheeze*
Brandon Morgan
Sakisaki and Imouto.
Rest are garbage
Bentley Adams
Nino had the best confession, but I agree with OP, outside of that she still seems a bit of a selfish cunt went it comes to Fuutaro. I would be surprised to see Nino or Ichihara win as I think the forceful ones are gonna fall flat on their face.
Benjamin Russell
Wise words, user.
Ryan Gonzalez
Don't worry OP, you'll get sick and tired of her soon enough, come here to whine why she gets so much screentime followed by twisting whatever she does into something negative. At that point you'll simply figure out she's being setup as the winner and you'll try to cure your massive asspain by shitposting relentlessly
That is if you're like the rest of the crossboarding redditors in these thread, maybe you''re different?
Aiden Allen
I get you user, it was one of the biggest 180 in how I feel about a character in my life. It went from the completely inexcusable, massive cunt she was to holy-shit-how-can-a-girl-be-so-best-where's-even-the-competition.
Zachary Ward
Nice to see you too! You're about 30% right with who I am, but you did pick out two of my posts so close enough! Shall I try to translate more Japanese for you today JSL-san?
Yes, all the quints are acting retarded. It’s all a part of their master plan to get Fuuts
Dylan Reyes
>raws More like 60 hours
Kayden Hernandez
Yeah, she's horrible, the worst, what else...
John Bennett
its the viewers/readers that are the retarded ones. Yotsuba has been spelling it out the whole time. >wants to get married so Raiha becomes family >kisses fuuts first >confesses and plays it off as if she was lying even though she's usually bad at lying >is happy when he's happy She has the sweetest and purest love for Fuutarou.
No, in fact she's the reason why they had to switch schools in the first place. She's just not as bright as the others. That's okay, though, because the she wants to improve!
Nathaniel Price
maybe 30 hours for the spoiler. I'm not sure about raw.
Different user but I don't think anyone has that one. When these were coming out the first 2 volumes had really low quality scans so no one bothered to color them. Also no one ever bothered to upload high quality scans of them either.
She wears her heart on her sleeve. You may disapprove but surely you have seen how it can appeal to other people.
James Clark
her heart is black
Justin Murphy
here is the best versions we have for the first sketchs. Nothing better currently. I see some baidu chink who has them all, but since they never scans them, it's pointless
Nino and Miku alone take around 60% of all fanart the other 3 have to share scraps.
Jaxson Perry
Oh man that sucks. I forgot what the volume 2 one looks like to be honest. Wasn't that the one with her in the ponytail with track wear?
Caleb Brown
If there's anything life taught me it's that there's a market for people who are act honestly terrible
Dylan Baker
There is a difference between quantity and quality user. In term of quantity Miku takes easily the lead, but when you look only for wholesome fanarts, Miku and Nino are on the same level. Between Yotsuba, Ichika, and Itsuki, idk who has the least quality fanarts.
James Martinez
there is other sketchs before those ones ?
William Cook
Probably Ichika for least. Her fandom died when she went crazy-eyes on us. Most stuff that has her in it now is crazy-eyes Ichika.
Itsuki in general has the least, but I noticed quite a few good gems there. I mostly just save Nino, Miku and Yotsuba and group shots, and give the other 2 a passing glance so that's as much as I can tell you.
Andrew Barnes
Spoiler fucking when!? I have waited two weeks for this shit
Angel Cooper
I just wanted a sexy flirty onee-san type that wanted to work hard for her family but also struggles with making time for her own happiness, whose quirk was that she sleeps a lot and and unconsciously takes her clothes off. Not a liar. She had potential to be one of my favourite characters.
I'm sure there is a bigger potato compilation, but I can't find it now
Jaxon Turner
She was wonderful before Negi killed her. I was rereading some of the middle chapters, and her internal struggle between wanting Fuutarou for herself and not wanting to trample Miku was kind of heartwrenching. Even her deception could've been really good if Negi had taken the time to develop it better instead of rushing everything.
David Price
Nino is only in the end with stalker cliffhanger sadly. The rest of the chapter focuses on Miku and Ichika.
Will we get a continuation of Miku's confession, or will we go straight to the stalker or Lolikano stuff?
Honestly, I kind of want to see him tell all the quints off for their drama, dockery, and keeping him out of all the explanations. Then we (re)build the real relationships
Carson Allen
Anyone have an updated panel count chart?
Thomas Murphy
I still don't understand why he said the bottom line. Isn't that pretty much the go to romantic phrase? Or is it a lost in translation thing.
Jordan Davis
What’s with the reddit spacing
Matthew Harris
More of Negi teasing Nino's identity as the bride
Hudson Wright
What the hell is reddit spacing? I was separating two thoughts.
Leo Morris
The most we'll get from Miku this chapter is her talking with Ichika and maybe asking Fuu for a date when they're back home, lolinakano is the cliffhanger at the end of the volume, the stalker will probably be nothing too serious as i can't see this kind of story involving an actual stalker, Nino still needs to try to settle things but considering her past behavior this means either confessing yet again or asking Fuu for an answer
Lincoln Jenkins
Just ignore him.
Jayden Sanders
It's not the first time that Negi blatantly foreshadowed she is the bride
Do you think Fuutarou knew the implications of what he said in the last panel or is he just scared of Papakano?
Noah Miller
UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ
Zachary Baker
At the risk of sending JSL-san to the shadow realm again, I believe that Fuutarou is just being super awkward and very formal with Papakano, sort of how Fuutarou sometimes refers to him as 'father' earlier in the story.
Jacob Flores
See I would believe that if Fuutarou had some sort of hint of blush but in that shot he looks nervous especially because Papakano hates him already.
Cooper Phillips
HE CALLED HIM FUCKING DAD
What an absolute chad
Elijah Howard
I believe he was aware of what he said, yet he still said it.
Probably both, he wouldn't be sweating buckets if he just told him off. Either way the scene is supposed to imply "taking your daughter's hand in marriage" trope, quite obviously.
Let's get this clear. He didn't only say "I will take care of your daughter", he also called him dad. Of course he did it on purpose.
Brody Butler
Doesn't he call him father because he hates him at this point? I want to know why he didn't just leave, the second to last panel shows that he did move to prop himself to go but instead of just going he stopped again to deliver the line which lead me to believe this was be a callback to an earlier chapter.
Jaxson Carter
Nino a SHIT
Xavier Stewart
Why does he looks like Uchiha Itachi with short hair?
Daniel Foster
He's been calling him dad since like chapter 2. It's a running joke that's becoming reality.
Jaxon Moore
He called Itsuki a moron for using MOON not that many chapters before that, and that's much subtler, so I'm quite sure he's aware of the implications.
Ian Wright
did he even knew his name at that point?
Jeremiah Ramirez
>Doesn't he call him father because he hates him at this point? No? He was never shown to hate Maruo personally.
this Fuutarou has always been awkward around papakano except for that time he told him off and dropped the mic. Now Fuuts know that Papakano hates him and is even more awkward. My interpretation is just that he's blurting stupid shit out around Papakano the way he usually does, but that doesn't seem to be the popular interpretation around here.
Doesn't sound much different. Fuutarou confirmed for neanderthal
Noah Gomez
That stupid shit he blurted is the worst stupid shit you can say to a father though. If he is aware of what he said, he clearly didn't say that to mess with him, since he had a pale face while he said it.
Nino's prominence in the story threatens me so I shitpost!
Brayden Rivera
Either way it's obvious Papakano took what he said with the full innuendo included, just look at him foaming the page after.
Tyler Barnes
The thing about the legend that binds however is Nino and Fuutarou did bond thanks to the bracelet but not necessarily in the romantic sense. The only one thinking of romance was Nino. Fuutarou became close to her but when you read the confession chapter it shows that he feels he has a bond with the girls and Nino which is why he rejected her rejection on him. The bracelet is null because they are bound and neither are capable of breaking their friends relationship without the other's say.
Blake Bailey
He called him Nakano-san in their first hone call though.
I mean, he didn't have feelings for any quint at that point. I think that's Negi dropping lowkey hints that Nino is the eventual bride. He's been setting Nino and Ichika up as the main contenders for a while, unless you really think Itsuki is one. Miku's making a late push, but it won't matter in the end. Ichika and Nino were the ones he was thinking serious about post-kiss, and Ichika killed herself.
Liam Ramirez
>All of this headcanon
Not this shit again. He's back.
Jordan Bennett
>Nino and Fuutarou did bond thanks to the bracelet Hmm, no? The bracelet is just a symbol for their bond, but it's not really important by itself. >The only one thinking of romance was Nino If Nino's the bride, I am 100% sure Negi will retrofit these scenes from his PoV to include his thoughts, showing he did care about it. >The bracelet is null because they are bound and neither are capable of breaking their friends relationship without the other's say. What?
Xavier Morgan
Yea Forums loves dominating tsunderes
Oliver Lewis
Yeah, you deal with him. I'm gonna go sleep.
Julian Myers
Serious talk here, why the fuck does only Nino get this kind of scenes?
Nolan Kelly
this ninofag reminds me of the yuifag from the yahari threads, he only sees/reads what he wants to believe
Andrew Jones
The problem with this theory is it completely disregards scrambled eggs
Logan Gonzalez
most betafags do
Charles Price
Old man marrying Miku!
Cameron Nguyen
I think we agree, we're saying that he didn't pull the ultimate chad move of intentionally bait papakano and then riding off into the night. He did accidentally do it though, Papa was pissed.
Luis Harris
Have you not been paying attention? That's a long running joke He always refers to him as dad. In every situation.
Ethan Russell
The bracelet was the catalyst that brought them together (literally at first). There's no reason for it to be emphasized like it has been unless it symbolizes the bond between Fuutarou and Nino. It meant basically nothing to Raiha, as the wedding scene showed, and we already know the quints love each other. It's entirely unnecessary aside from Fuutarou and Nino's bond. And Negi loves to emphasize what is necessary.
Jace Ross
The problem is that Fuutarou doesn't know how to be subtle and he takes verbal phrases at point blank. He definately knew what he was saying but I realize he might not have thought it was a romantic like and genuinely meant to tell him that he'll care for the quints in Papakano's place.
Carson Brown
>Yea Forums is one person
James Baker
Objectively speaking, it shows that she's Negi's prefered candidate to be the bride. He's laying the groundwork for an eventual Nino win, and everything would make sense.
Michael Williams
>user asks about a general opinion a lot of people here have >respond by commenting on a general opinion a lot of people on Yea Forums have >hurr durr, 4 chan's not one person Learn how language works
Jaxon Garcia
Honestly, the whole bike ride was the most romantic thing in this manga and I am still in shock that we haven't even come close since. Miku's date was great too but they didn't connect in the same way that Nino and Fuutarou did here. I'm looking for more kino moments like this with the other quints.
Isaiah Clark
She is the main girl unironically.
Isaac Edwards
Very good chance of that too, I don't know enough about Japanese formalisms to weigh in very much on the specifics.
What are you all on about? All the quints get cute scenes. He's laid the groundwork so that he can point at any quint and say 'planned'
Chase Richardson
On my first pass through it was pretty easy to deny the Nino hints but on a re-read... I'm actually convinced.
>the whole bike ride was the most romantic thing in this manga and I am still in shock that we haven't even come close since I think the most important thing in these Nino scenes is that Fuutarou acted by himself. No one forced him to go to Nino's side. He went by his own will for her.
Yotsuba got the entire date with Fuutarou after Legend that Binds (if I'm remembering the chronology correctly). She also has her "I love you, jk" moment earlier on.
Daniel Sanchez
>All the quints get cute scenes All quints get cute scenes, but no quint but her gets scenes filled with foreshadowing and clear implications like the bracelet and bike scenes. Also, scenes like this, where Negi shows her feelings are equally important to him as the kisser.
Because he didn't even need to use love to figure it out. It was simple logic since his first 50/50 guess was wrong, the 2nd guess would automatically be correct. It didn't really have much impact at all.
Aaron Lopez
>Her popularity is because she is the quint featured in the best scenes of this manga.
>first time posting not lurking Who the hell is he? Sorry I confused the last part a bit. I meant to say the bracelet itself isn't important because it was a means for them to get closer which they did to the point where they can't just cut off ties according to Fuutarou. Meaning the bracelet being part of the legend that bind has nothing to do with the future marriage romance because they could just be together as friends.
Leo Flores
>All quints get cute scenes, but no quint but her gets scenes filled with foreshadowing and clear implications like the bracelet and bike scenes. Also, scenes like this, where Negi shows her feelings are equally important to him as the kisser.
LOVE is not necessarily romantic anyway. Grandpa and Rena definitely don't want to date their grand/daughters
Adam Wright
Out of the quints, Nino has gotten an undeniably larger share of time devoted to her character and her relationship with Fuutarou. I reread the manga recently and it's almost stupid how obvious Negi has been with pushing her as the eventual bride. Itsuki and Yotsuba are basically ghosts, while Ichika and Miku fight for second place.
Liam Jackson
>Out of the quints, Nino has gotten an undeniably larger share of time devoted to her character and her relationship with Fuutarou. Oh he's back and spamming wojacks again. How many times is this retard going to sperg out and get banned?
Justin Jackson
>Meaning the bracelet being part of the legend that bind has nothing to do with the future marriage romance because they could just be together as friends. If that's the bracelet's meaning, I doubt Negi would show it so promintently in the wedding scenes of all things.
It was really obvious to us, so I see where you're coming from, but everybody treats it like a really big deal in-universe. The way it's set and presented make it seem like he genuinely has no idea what it is that he picked up on. Given that it took him awhile to even notice Ichika was wearing glasses when he met up with her in a subsequent chapter, that amount of obliviousness is in-character.
But as we saw in the previous chapter Nino would hold no hard feelings for Fuutarou and whichever quint won if not her. She could have just given the bracelet to Fuutarou to assure Fuutarou would be the perfect prince to whichever quint he married. I doubt she would also want to hold on to a reminder of her double first love.
Tyler Collins
I want to breed this genki girl
Jace Garcia
There's no reason to show it in the wedding if it doesn't have a Nino connection, and I doubt the bride would take kindly to him wearing something reminding him of his relationship to another girl, even if the quints are close. That would be a huge wedding day red flag, DESU.
Yeah, as they said, Negi wouldn't put that shit there when he is marrying another person. This is another thing in her favour unless another quint has a meaningful scene with him involving the bracelet, which is highly unlikely.
Christian Wilson
I believe you. Every series on Yea Forums has that one guy.
Eli Baker
Nice try, Shinzo Abe-san
Adam Peterson
I remember someone mentioned that the reason Maruo placed that romance ban on Fuutarou might be because he thinks F and Nino have a thing for each other judging by what he witnessed here. He also caught Nino trying to meet up with F under the bell, so that does seem plausible.
William Carter
How could you say that?
Joshua Collins
The fact that it's in the future chapter is important but it doesn't necessarily cement Nino anyways, the bracelet represents the bond between the 2 Nino might want it to have an a different meaning if she loses. Nino is still the bride's sister and if she were to hold the torch for him that long it'll be sad. She was able to not think of him as a romantic interest at one point and she could do it again in the future.
Brody Taylor
I thought that interview was confirming no harem ending (connected is probably from translated from musubareru), not connected as in there's nothing in thr wedding that is connected to other quints.
Matthew Jones
Never thought about that, but it makes sense. The only indication that Maruo has of Fuutarou laying his hands on his daughters are the two situations with Nino that you've mentioned.
David Nguyen
Ninodera will bake the cake
Brody Sanders
Quints are for breeding! Fuck’em, put a bun in their oven, literally what they’re made for
Thomas Sanders
Also worth noting that Negi (maybe at the behest of his editor) put that camping trip arc in there as a place to stop the first anime season. It would make a lot of sense to give a big hint about the bride in such a place, especially if you weren't sure at the time it would get another season.
Scrambled Eggs is positioned just right for big hint #2.
Either this series stops somewhere around 100-106 chapters, or that's where the last big hint will be (unless Negi really wants to go a shitload more chapters, but nothing shows that desire on his part).
I mean, I realized it was basically down to Ichika and Nino before I came to like Nino. Miku, while she was the first quint I considered my favorite, always struck me as the nice girl who gets some sweet scenes with the MC but doesn't really amount to much in the end. At that point, I basically thought Itsuki was the bride, but that left a whole bunch of questions open that only Nino really answers. The bracelet, why she was the first quint he gathered for the festival (and why he told her he'd get the others), sacrificing the charm to save her life and not having that be some other quint instead, why she now knows so much about Lolikano instead of any other quint, etc.
Adam Green
You seem worried about her being 'cemeted'. Don't worry, nothing is set in stone yet, but this is yet another Nino foreshadow that can play in her favor if Negi finally decides to make her the bride.
Julian Morgan
It'd be weird for her to bake her own wedding cake but stranger things have happened.
Charles Jenkins
>Nino said she was going to kiss Fuutarou before the trip was over and Fuutarou gets kissed before the trip is over Red herring >Nino and Fuutarou have a history with the bracelet and Fuutarou is wearing it at his wedding Red herring
Got any more mental gymnastics?
Evan Jones
She’s making it for Fuut’s wedding not hers silly
Nolan Price
Man, why is Negi stacking up SO MANY red herrings with Nino? It's insane how many he's peppered throughout the manga!
Gabriel Ramirez
I mean, I figured out that bracelet thing before the interview. There's no reason to spend so much time on it unless it means something Nino related, or if we're shown something else. It meant nothing to Raiha, and we already know the sisters love each other. There's no reason to use it to show either of those things. It's a completely superfluous detail to the series otherwise.
And that interview revealed more than just the no harem ending. He basically shredded Itsuki's chances, too, but the discussion about the necessary vs unnecessary stuff was really enlightening.
Zachary Smith
But she's getting married to Fuutarou.
Jordan Long
Miku will train years for the task! The best wedding cake ever for her sister's wedding!!
Hunter Watson
That seems entirely plausible.
Colton Reed
Negi knew who the bride was before he started writing.
Levi Hughes
No, Fuutarou is marrying someone else and Nino was nice enough to bake him a cake
Jeremiah Reyes
None of the quints are for lewding. I'd happily take Nino's thighs though
definitely Ichika, Nino would be open to it with some convincing, the rest less likely to consider it
Juan Gray
So, I know MAL is shit and all, but seriously, why is Itsuki their favorite quint? I thought for sure Miku would be #1.
Easton Russell
I'm a Ninofag too. It's just that that interview (or any other interview really) shouldn't be used as justification for the bride. Otherwise we'll be jsut like artur who, because Negi said the second half will focus on Fuutarou's fallin in love to one quint, decided that he has fallen in love with Miku at the end of Scrambled Eggs. One of his evidence is something like "he was confused why Yotsuba brought up Miku when he hadn't told anyone that he liked her" in 72.
Ryan Stewart
Imma be honest. Nino being the bride is an real hit or miss. Like most anons said, Nino has many ambiguous scenes that just really makes it seem like Negi is being upfront with her being the bride or those could just red herrings to make us think that to not guess who'll be the actual bride. >Half of the manga was her accepting then falling for Fuut while the second half is about Fuut falling in love >Nino getting her ears pierced before getting married >7 Goodbyes were mainly about Fuutarou and Nino moving on from their past >Nino being the first to see the photo but not lolikano, then later on state how she somewhat remembers meeting the blonde kid which Negi purposefully left hanging >The bracelet >Fuutarou is the most cautious of her >Nino practically matches his ideal women
These were just out the top of my head. I'm not saying Nino is the bride but I can definitely see how people interpret her as the most shilled, "Negis favorite", etc.
Nathan James
Just another red herring, my friend!
Juan James
I agree that Ichika is a probable butt slut, but I think Nino would be too prudish and headstrong to take it in the ass. I know that Yotsuba would do it even if she didn't like it. It's also possible that Miku would like anal. I think Itsuki would refuse, like Nino.
Nino's my favorite quint but even I can tell some scenes could be used against her. As much as I want to believe in the bracelet there's also the fact that she's as huge a siscon as Fuutarou and would respect the quint that won. If the bracelet were to chain her feelings for Fuutarou to her, I feel she would give it to her sister and move on from her first romance.
Zachary Russell
You should have also put that other red herring in where Raiha sees the bride and is in awe and the next panel is a BIG ZOOM on the earring. But yeah, all red herrings for certain.
Mason Gomez
One of these days I'll compile all the red herrings. and eat them
>when every argument against Nino being the bride is completely dependent on everything being red herrings and falseflags Holy shit get some self awareness
Ryan Ramirez
No, Nino seems like the kind of girl that would try it because it’s “exciting” and gets addicted to it
Sebastian Richardson
Well, considering how much they falseflag in the threads that probably seems normal to them.
Kevin Scott
You guys are crazy, Yotsuba is definitely the butt slut considering how outgoing she is.
Aiden Thomas
No, Nino is a hardcore romantic. All romantic women want lovingly beautiful and emotional sex. They want things like rose petals and scented candles. Not a dick in the butt.
Ian Ramirez
I don't know if anyone has made red herring image of it, but when futureRaiha who is looking at the bride and Fuutarou kissing came back to the past, she was looking at Itsuki and Nino. Miku and Ichika were in the sauna and Yotsuba was beside her.
Isaac Powell
>I feel she would give it to her sister and move on from her first romance. Nah man, it would leave such a bad taste if it were like you say. The bracelet symbolizes Nino unless another quint has a good scene with it.
Joshua Mitchell
If another quint becomes associated with the charm in any way, that'll be a huge death flag for Nino. For now though it's the strongest argument she has for being the bride.
Jeremiah Gray
She drugged him. Twice.
Dominic Williams
I don’t think Nino could handle Itsuki reminding her of her place again Itsuki win = Ninofags offing themselves
David Flores
Again, I had keyed into Negi's distaste for unnecessary stuff before the interview was even published. It was the only way his structuring of the manga made sense. That just confirmed my suspicions. Other than probably shredding Itsuki's chances as well as that of a harem end, it's only really useful, like many of his other comments and actions, as an extra key or guide to his mindset. You can pick up on his thought processes from things like that if you read carefully. That can help you interpret the story better even if it doesn't always specifically confirm or reject anyone or anything.
Not to go all Yea Forums here, but that's one reason why a lot of coaches and athletes are very guarded with their speech. They don't want to give away anything that even hints at a gameplan.
And at any rate, there's no particular reason to spend so much time and ink on the bracelet in that series if it doesn't have a specific connection that needs to be demonstrated. The sisters' bond doesn't. Raiha forgot he even had it.
The plot rules out Miku. Maybe not explicitly, but look at how Fuutarou has acted and the other details we've been shown relating to it since Scrambled Eggs.
Justin Nelson
God I wish that were me
David Murphy
>charm >lost to stale bread
Brandon Martin
>give it to her sister Fuutarou’s keeping the charm, though.
Chase Brown
>They want things like rose petals and scented candles. >she bought him scented candles for his birthday >she said she was going to show him how to properly use them They're going to fuck.
Michael Harris
I didn't see any bread at the wedding
Gavin Harris
you know if all girls love the MCs dick why just not fuck them all? Is MC a massive fag? You know that the MC is pretty based if they try to aim for the harem route in where everyone doesnt suffer
Carson Reed
I wonder what Negi would have to do to get this to make sense considering Nino already gave him the charm back and he doesn't seem to be wearing it anymore as of now.
Jaxon Campbell
She was turned on by Kintarou saying he wished he was drinking, if someone offered her anal sex she’d probably get super wet
Kayden Hughes
If Nino becomes the bride, I want every single one of you who talked about red herrings to formally apologize.
Ethan Williams
Being in a harem honestly sounds exhausting.
Aiden Lopez
that its how nips jokes work
Adrian Baker
It will be. In fact, I'd be ready to rule her out.
But aside from that, she has a whole lot of other things, big and small, that point to her.
Kayden Taylor
this desu
No bread because Miku didn't make the lunch. So which quint is most likely to make a wonderful lunch for the wedding?
Well, Ichika tried to deveive him twice. Identity theft charge. Miku trespassed into his room and slept in the same bed as him without conscent. Sexual assault charge. Yotsuba... She a good girl. Itsuki is also lying to him, and she's probably not even the real Rena, so identity theft charge for her too.
Brayden Myers
Fuutarou never gets to say what’s on his mind when it comes romance so we’ll never know
Adrian Diaz
If Nino is the bride, I will gloat relentlessly on her for days.
Aaron Jenkins
>If the bracelet were to chain her feelings for Fuutarou to her, I feel she would give it to her sister and move on from her first romance. Speculation until we're shown that.
Colton Moore
Love is a terrible drug indeed.
Adam Cooper
Sure, but I'm not going to have apologize.
Fuutarou is a pure boy, you leave his virginity alone.
David Reyes
It's going to be a catered lunch for a fancy wedding... duh
Michael Robinson
None made but here's the scene. It's about as much of a tease as the 68 test score so don't take it so seriously.
typically this would be the case, but since Negi like to skip things and want to finish manga in 2019 I doubt that he will prolong this like other harem manga. Just look at Miku confession, all the bullshit hacks just to end it as soon as possible.
Daniel Ross
>However, one thing I dislike in the manga is her drug shenanigans That's the best part, though.
Landon Morales
It's not that significant a hint, but it's more important than a silly test score that has no real relevance to the plot
Aaron Morris
She's definitely looking straight at Nino
Robert Cooper
>futureRaiha who is looking at the bride and Fuutarou kissing came back to the past, she was looking at Itsuki and Nino Good catch. Another ambiguous hint.
Nathan Barnes
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
It's not that big a hint on its own, but placed into context with other hints and it could take on additional weight.
Kayden Lopez
I wish Yotsuba would gaze at me the same way she gazes at prepubescent girls
>What does it mean anons? It means that Negi wanted to wrap everything about Miku as soon as possible.
Brandon Smith
He barely has enough stamina to fuck just one girl, five would kill him.
Camden Wright
I don't know if Nino needs to get an answer from Fuutarou this volume to settle things, but she does need *something* that will give her a sense of satisfaction. Like a huge hint at how Fuutarou feels. If he protects her from the stalker, that might lead into something.
But a mini-rejection like:
>I'm not ready yet >I can't think about love until after graduation >I need some space >Him telling all the quints to shut the fuck up with their drama and bullshit
Could easily be a set up for a future win for her as Fuutarou starts to think more clearly about love.
Kevin Gutierrez
Based Nino. Too bad Fuutarou is dense.
Owen Watson
Why has Negi spent so much time writing in countless red herrings for Nino but not the other quints? Does he really want to fool us into thinking Nino will be the bride that badly? Well, I won't fall for it!
Serious question, does anyone actually believe Itsuki will win?
Noah Bennett
Which one?
Jose Rivera
No. Personally I'm amazed that anybody thinks Miku won't win though. Negi is looking to wrap things up ASAP, and Miku end with all her sisters supporting her is fastest, cleanest end thanks to how Negi's set it up.
I'd be less salty about that at this point than a Miku win. At least she's the technical first girl in this series, so it would be a conventional win.
Dylan Murphy
Keep reading. From Chapter 60 onwards she becomes best girl.
Colton Thomas
Miku stole that from you itsukifag. I always thought an itsuki end would be the most boring end, but at this point negi ending with miku like this would be even worse.
Anthony Sullivan
no
Nolan Cook
Bride preference rankings:
1. Nino, because she's simply the best, better than all the rest. 2. Ichika, because burn it all down if Nino doesn't win. 3. Yotsuba, because she deserves happiness. 4. Itsuki, because she's okay I guess. 5. Miku, because watching the whole universe bend over backwards to drag her to victory just isn't fun to watch, and bread should not be that powerful.
Perhaps. I wouldn't be surprised, since Yea Forums has been arguing over exponentially dumber shit every year and this time the girls are literally identical. We'll have to see how much the janitors allow.
Cooper Cox
Yeah Nino is a massive bitch
Ichika a best tho
Jose Collins
Wasn't here for TWGOK but I can only imagine what a shitshow that was. Was it better or worse than the ichirukifag meltdown?
I doubt it. The ending to TWGOK made no sense, she was literally a side character at best.
Caleb Fisher
The appeal seems to be tsundere part and her behaving like an alpha. She has her Kino moments during the story and becomes more likable because of her action, I guess. The Kintarou romance part felt cringeworthy. Since she'll never be among my favorites I may not be the best person to point out her positive aspects.
These expressions say it all >1 Seems coy, but is devious >2 Seems standoffish, but is loving >3 Seems shy, is shy >4 Seems happy, but is sad >5 Seems nervous, but is hungry
Easton Morales
It was an asspull, but I felt like Tamiki didn't have to do as much reaching as he would have had to do with some of the other girls.
But that ending chapter was a mess, as was everything after the goddess stuff was resolved. He should have just ended it then.
Ian Gomez
Posting this again because I love it. It shows their relationships to him so well.
should I bother reading TWGOK if I already know the winner
Hudson Sullivan
Which girl was Yea Forums's girl? Who were the Miku and Nino of that?
Ayden Johnson
If the stalker is hired by Maruo, that would explain a bunch of things and set things up very well for what could be the endgame. He'd probably be doing it to insure the quints and Fuutarou are on their best behavior.
But if is true, that would explain why the stalker has targeted Nino (or groups she's in).
If this is even partially or mostly true, it would allow the quints to learn about Maruo's warning. At that point, I imagine all romantic hell will break loose as they deal with their own feelings for Fuutarou and the consequences of the warning.
Dominic Young
The first time I saw this I wondered why they had Nino holding his hand but it makes so much sense now.
Aaron Smith
Weren't Haqua and Ayumi the most popular? Neither were doormats though. The doormat character of TWOGK was not very popular iirc.
Xavier Wood
Illuminate me bro
Nolan Clark
It's not official canon in the story, but I think it's another lowkey signal from Negi about the bride.
Brayden Myers
Shiori (the doormat, IIRC) was cute, but that was about it.
Haqua and Ayumi being popular doesn't surprise me.
And, as we have seen from the manga, he's paying no attention to her whatsoever.
Carter Murphy
Fuutarou can easily fall in love with Yotsuba and hammer it to her pussy that she CAN put her happiness over her sisters' and others, concluding her selfless acts arc.
Jaxson Sanchez
sure, but in the image his attention is either drawn to Ichika on his shoulder or Itsuki reaching for calories
Yes. She is clinging to him whereas he and Nino are both holding hands. It's mutual.
Adrian Johnson
actually, Nino is merely grabbing one of Fuutarou's fingers while his entire arm rests in neutral position. it doesn't look like he's paying much attention to her either
Michael Ross
Hmmm...
>The charm >Bride touching his index finger in that Binding Legend fast forward >Ichika getting BTFO'd for Nino when Fuutarou's trying to figure out who he should dance with. >The earring stuff >The bell jingling as Nino enters the shop in 60 >The bell jingling as Miku declares she lost in 69. >Raiha staring at Nino after the flashforward in the hot spring. Moments before the kiss, even! >Fuutarou giving up Rena's charm to save Nino from literally drowning >Fuutarou thinking about Nino and not Miku twice when asked about love post-Scrambled Eggs.
My goodness, will you just look at all of these red herrings? What others are there?
Dylan Diaz
But he's giving his hand to Nino in the end even though the others are causing trouble.
Luis Turner
But he had to give her that hand, and he looks like he's trying to grasp hers.
Hudson Gray
The lack of Yotsuba focus is because she's the original Reina, right? She'll get her arc and further development when she reveals the truth.
he's not exactly "giving" his hand to Nino, it's more likely that he simply wasn't using that arm and left it resting near the ground, where Nino could reach it. there doesn't seem to be any attempt on Fuutarou's end to actually grasp Nino's hand, which is why the rest of his fingers just hang instead of angling towards Nino
Gabriel Price
>muh parallels Here's your zodiac reading too, bub.
Everyone knows that Yotsuba is the original Reina but just like Onodera from Nisekoi, it doesn't mean that she'll win. She'll get her development though, Speaking of Nisekoi I hope we don't get to see the quints gets rejected one by one like fucking Nisekoi.
Pictured: >Ichika, blocking Fuutarou's view and pissing him off >Nino grabbing Fuutarou's hand but being ignored in spite of her bold advances >Miku clinging desperately to him while he can't see her thanks to Ichika being in the way >4tsuba once again ruining literally everything she touches >Itsuki eating but also the only one actually engaged with Fuutarou but also she only wants food
iunno anons, maybe it's just a picture.
Michael Ross
I'm not going to sit here all night analyzing an image that isn't even canon.
She's grabbing his index finger, aka the finger she's tied to. The way his fingers curl inwards, it's not much of a stretch to say he's holding hers back.
But he's letting her have his hand. Their hands are touching while he's not letting any other quint do that.
James Nelson
Clearly. It was known from the start!
Logan Gray
honestly it's not even Negi's best work, you can hardly tell what's going on when that hand itself is like 25% smaller than the one being held up. anyhow, I don't think it means anything special
Robert Bennett
FUCK Nino
Kayden Peterson
He's still letting Nino have his hand while he deals with the others.
Parker Rivera
Probably the dream one that was deemed to be boring and died on page 17.
Benjamin Price
hahaha IN THE ASS get it guys FUCK means SEX hahaha
Michael Nelson
>bokuben Did you mean TWGOK? Either way that's a yes
>anyhow, I don't think it means anything special this desu. Negi isn't trying to seed hints of anybody's waifu in particular. He's seeding hints for them all. He's gone on record saying that all he wants is to start waifu wars and watch the world burn, and in that he's succeeded.
Bokuben, I've already watched/read TWGOK and know in my heart that sensei was best girl. If Bokuben sensei is half the woman that she was, it'll be worth watching/reading.
Kevin Miller
>Ichika: Causing trouble and making him angry >Nino: Holding his hand like she always wanted >Miku: Clinging to him but getting ignored >Yotsuba: Doodling like an idiot, ruining his apron >Itsuki: Trying to eat while Fuutarou tries to prevent it from happening.
Asher Foster
>honestly it's not even Negi's best work I'll agree with that for sure.
I mean, he wants the waifu wars, but he's not just throwing hints around indiscriminately. Not even he's that sloppy.
Kayden Flores
You're missing the part where he's not even looking in Nino's direction in spite of that, but otherwise spot on.
You have a lot of faith in Negi. We're talking about the man who came out and personally killed first girl memes in response to Itsuki stifling waifu warring. I'm pretty sure he assassinated Ichika's character just for the sensationalism. Nothing is sacred to this man, nothing!
Jason Hernandez
Or we can say Negi is a madman.
Caleb Baker
Butthurt translator should be a Ninofag
Dominic Turner
That wasn't a yotsuba exclusive doujin if I'm not mistaken.
Ryder Phillips
Or we can say he's a hack
Jaxson Edwards
so what you're saying is that negi's the biggest shitposter in the entire thread, by default, without even posting
Gabriel Thompson
Yes, but you should end in Goddess arc because it will go down shit since then.
Christopher Flores
Who cares
FUCK Nino
Jaxson Rodriguez
I mean, if him looking at Ichika means an Ichika ending, I'd be fine with it in a "Fuck you" sort of sense. Less so with an Itsuki ending, but still okay. Quint drama is distracting him from where he needs to look, sadly.
Caleb King
Yeah, seriously, just pretend everything else doesn't exist and he gets with your favorite girl who had a goddess, Elsie, or Haqua. Your life will be much more enjoyable that way.
Asher Fisher
>ok let's put these random hints in there, maybe I'll use them later maybe not >either way these retards are going to speculate about it for months to end lmao
Basically yes. I don't have a picture of him saved, but I'm sure you've seen it. Is Negi's face the face of a man who cares about human life? It is not.
Lucas Lopez
I don't know if he even cares about his dog's life.
Kayden Myers
Yeah but she's the most prominent on the cover so everyone started calling it that long before we knew what it was about.
Hudson Howard
Him bending over to Mikufags in the last chapter shows that he does
Connor Lewis
I think Negi has a planned end in mind and has from the start, but I think he's realized he's bitten off more than he can chew. Now he just wants this shitshow over as fast as he can, no matter if it's a bunch of hamhanded resolutions and contrived occurrences.
Somewhat related, but I'm really intrigued if this speculation ends up being true, because having a stalker just as a random stalker is stupid.
Oliver Miller
> Quint drama is distracting him from where he needs to look, sadly. Are you not entertained? Is this not why you're here?
We'll find out in a couple weeks. Miku wins, dog life matters, Miku BTFOd his apartment probably gets burned down with his little dog too while Negi laughs himself into a coma.
Logan Jenkins
>bending over How is it bending over when idiot wrote himself in that corner to begin with.
Isaac Carter
I'm here for laughing at the shitposting.
Kevin Adams
>get to current day >turns out the bride was just one last trick, and the real bride is waiting for fuutarou somewhere else how would you feel about this?
Jackson Myers
Exactly. Anons put too much faith and hopes in negi. Remember the last never ending party?
Like Mario does in worlds 1-7 in Super Mario Bros.
Kevin Ortiz
But I think he's still going for his original ending, but the quality has gone down while the QUALITY has gone up.
Joshua Sanders
>she's been a massive cunt from the very start Chapter 39 was the first time she acted like a bitch in 20-25 chapters.
Grayson Ramirez
Most definitely. I've had this conversation with another Yea Forumsnon sometime in the last few nights, but juggling 5 top-level characters in a serialization like this is not at all easy. I'm sure he's learned from his mistakes, has new ideas, and just wants to put toubun to bed.
with all the weird stuff going on at the wedding, I wouldn't even be surprised.
Christian Rogers
He kissed her though. There will be one last quints game after the kiss, and he hold out his hand to the bride and say grab on.
Nicholas Martinez
yeah but what if negi just throws everything out the window and goes "fuck you the kiss doesn't even matter"
what if fuutarou gets tricked into marrying the wrong quint
Mason Bailey
I mean, it's not easy, but if you're willing to commit to a series that could go 200 or so chapters, even with relatively little filler, you can do it. That's a lot of work, and Negi's aversion to slower pace chapters really hurts fleshing out the smaller details about characters, like the part time jobs or most anything to do with Yotsuba (I still want to know more about her room).
Michael Parker
If TWGOK ends with the girl who had enough or at least it's convincing to readers, I'm okay with that. But Chihiro... Really? What kind of hack is this?
Nicholas Taylor
We will need to crowdfund an angry mob to go over to Japan and burn his house.
Jackson Rivera
I wanted an Ayumi win for most of the series. Not sure who I thought would actually win, because I became less convinced by Elsie's chances the longer it went on.
Eli Scott
Not even Negi is that mad. Really the biggest mistake he has is how rushed the timeline is. If we have a little bit more SoL fleshing out the quints, Ichika snekking and doubling down and their consequences wouldn't feel that abrupt.
Wyatt Perez
Ayumifags and Kanonfags were the main posters. People will say Haquafags and Tenrifags too but the former never actually believed she would win and the latter barely even existed.
Dominic Barnes
Oh, yes, it's definitely possible. He just didn't want to have to do toubun for 150 more chapters (counting from Scrambled Eggs when pacing went off the rails). I think he always intended to tell a relatively quick, snappy story, but 5 characters does not a quick snappy story make.
Jackson Bailey
If Negi is really trying to wrap this up as fast as possible, I legit wouldn't be surprised if Nino jumps into Fuutarou's arms with this stalker stuff and he's suddenly receptive. I wouldn't be as happy as I normally would have been had it been developed more, but I won't be surprised.
Ayden Rivera
I'm here to laugh at all those people with victim complex. Hilarious.
I felt Ayumi was the most deserving to win aftr she swooped in to help but I had a feeling Chihiro would win because of her chapters near the beginning of the series and that bus ride just screamed "she is not gonna win".
Nolan Edwards
I'm not any girl fan. But at least TWGOK can end better than we got. Only ChihiroFag happy about this. Many girls have better development and screentime out there but Tamami didn't choose any of them. Just select the girl who just like a side character or some little drama in Goddess arc.
Gavin Rivera
It would have been easier if he had just done a love triangle between Nino and Miku/Ichika, or done a story where he has to choose between the three, because they are the only ones who are actual romantic contenders.
And I'm a Ninobro, but I don't think he's that good at hiding clues, either.
Juan Wilson
real bold of you posting carol in a thread like this
Charles Rivera
I think Aqua or Tenri is better. They don't need any special thing to make them love Keima but original himself.
Owen Lee
cute animation
Lucas Sullivan
>Nino gives Miku a speech about how she didn't lose yet >Miku gets a date chapter >Fuuts is receptive of Nino few chapters later
The pacing is fast, but this would be the ultimate example of wasted chapters on Negi's part.
Aiden Carter
He can add Yotsuba to love battle IF Yotsuba is REAL lolikano. And then the real battle between childhood friend and girls begin. And yeah, Nino has the strongest bride contender because those hints. Unless Negi pull ass with hacking and "just a prank" like Masamune again.
Jaxson Kelly
Is there an "angry mob for hire" agency in Japan?
William Sanders
Or Miku doesn't win and his house will be burned after that.
James Scott
As opposed to making all of the effort put into developing Nino and Fuutarou's relationship throughout the entire manga a waste? That includes chapter 71, chapter 60, a crapload of Seven Goodbyes, most of 54, about half of 69, anything to do with Kintarou, the earring chapter....
Parker Nguyen
And Fuutarou has been receptive to Nino for a while. He's not in love yet, but he's getting there.
Maybe he never expects that Miku has strong waifubait like this.
Dominic Jones
I think Negi tries to drag Nino and Fuutarou relationship until all of quints have enough development and confession.
Joseph Collins
And it would be bad if Negi let Nino and Fuutaoru have a clear answer about their relationship. It will ruin other girls chance or development in this manga.
Juan Rogers
Not that. That user wouldn't be surprised if Fuuts would be receptive of Nino because of the stalker. The waste here is that the arc so far was not about Nino, but Miku, yet about 2 chapters later after the date with Miku, Fuuts just accepts Nino's love, which he could have done several times already. The waste here is the entire arc, which gets thrown out of the window, and amounts to nothing.
tl;dr Bet no one gets rejected in the next few chapters, nor any conclusive things happen.
Hunter Moore
>muh waifubait Nah, he clearly was writing Ichika to be some deceptive character, then he pushed it to the extreme by making her act crazy even in front of them. Its less to do with Miku and more to do with making a villain for a short while to then get utterly humiliated by the guy she likes. Why Negi thought that was a good idea I don't know. Buy people trying to forget some stupid ideas like the whole lolikano to begin with which wasn't universally praised to begin with are being disingenuous.
negi's going through some rough patches but at least he isn't fucking dead
Jason Carter
Miku's job is to set up Fuutarou and Nino's relationship. Like how the cooking contest made Fuutarou realize he'd have to work hard and in "good faith" to win Nino over from her "ill will", or Miku and Nino's heart to heart in Seven Goodbyes after she left her hotel room for good, or Nino having to earn her job at the restaurant...
Jacob Parker
I still think Ichika character is more interesting than Miku. Maybe she acts like a villain but it makes this manga is more interesting to read than too wholesome rom-com manga. But Ichika is still has a chance to come back the race. But depend on Negi. And Fuutarou doesn't really hate her that why she can confesses him directly this time.
I don't care if you think she's more interesting, my point is that her doubling down and then tripling down was shitty writing.
Jaxson Stewart
>Nah, he clearly was writing Ichika to be some deceptive character, then he pushed it to the extreme by making her act crazy even in front of them. Why does nobody remember what Yotsuba said earlier? She was always like this, but the encouragement surrounding her and the opportunity afforded her by the Miku disguise put her past her breaking point. From there, she regressed. In a way, it demonstrates how Ichika really hasn't grown much despite being the onee-san type.
Easton Clark
Yeah, I agree about that, but Negi's shitty writing would have me unsurprised, somewhat happen, but ultimately disappointed if that's how it goes.
Samuel Myers
>Miku's job is to set up Fuutarou and Nino's relationship.
Why not the other way around?
Oliver Baker
>I don't think he's that good at hiding clues, either. That's what he wants you to think. Remember when all you fags were jumping on ichika as the snake when it's actually miku would wanted to push fuutarou away?
Anthony Rogers
Not today, old friend.
Thomas Gray
Like I say, depend on Negi. But at least we can see Ichika is slowly fallen and there were hints about she was not completely a "good girl" like many people thought.
Landon Powell
No one called Faketsuki a "snake".
Angel Lee
based
William Thompson
She'd choose to get hit by a truck to get isekai-ed.
What about that time that Itsuki was proclaimed as guaranteed winner until Negi came out and killed her? we toubunfags are terrible at prediction, every last one of us.
Oliver Long
Because he doesn't want to lose his dog and house by MikuFan in Japan.
Joshua Bell
Itsuki 3 times disguise 3 times cause trouble and confuse shit because of her disguise KEK
Jeremiah Rodriguez
This, her ploy to begin with? Sure, but then thinking switching to Miku when they were all there was down right retarded. And after already getting caught, she truly thought she could trick Fuutarou was just asinine. Negi either got cold feet or he truly thought this was good writing which I hope in his case he didn't.
But getting him to think of them as more than students wasn't a bad thing, even Itsuki thought so.
Michael Sanders
I think Nino will get something in this arc that satisfies her. Whether it's ultimately satisfying in the end is something we will find out.
It doesn't have to be an answer to her confession, but I suspect she leave Kyoto feeling like she's closer to him. Whether that's real or fake is something we'll have to deduce over time.
Evan Williams
>>Fuuts is receptive of Nino few chapters later It's Negibro so....
Angel Howard
I found her suspect from the start. Maybe I just didn't like her haircut, but she struck as faking something and beset by internal conflict.
Owen Ross
Still makes no sense.
Grayson Russell
Maybe Nino will get something to calm her down in this arc and Negi can focus 2-3 girls left in the next cases.
Lincoln Jones
He's not saying she its bad writing on her now being a "villain" its how Negi uses scenarios to showcase it, in this arc it was beyond shit.
Andrew Mitchell
I still say Nino is the bride unless Negi wants to go for the asspull, but his inexperience is showing even more now that he's rushing things, so anything could happen, I suppose.
Daniel Morgan
Yeah, I can't understand why many people still say Ichika "sudden change" her personality but there were many hints about her restrain personality in very begin and mid progress manga.
Joshua Edwards
I'm ready for some spoilers, but I have a job and Tales of Vesperia to keep me occupied until then, I guess.
Camden Ward
I think her dark turn went to utterly stupid lengths, but that was probably due to Negi rushing the shit out of things. She could have been a good multiarc villain if he'd drawn her out some more.
Austin Wilson
Fuck off chink.
Connor Sanchez
Maybe you right. Ichika character went too far in this arc. At least she redeems herself now but is still a big wasted just for Miku confession.
Xavier Perez
If we assume her plan all along was to tell Fuutarou that she was lolikano (regardless of whether it's true or not) then she doesn't have any option but to choose the Miku disguise. From her perspective, she thinks that Fuutarou believes that Miku is supporting Ichika, and she lacks the confidence to tell him such a thing upfront, choosing another disguise would be too risky and would increase the risk of being discovered. She can't disguise as Yotsuba or Itsuki for this too work because of what I just mentioned, and choosing Nino for this would be retarded, there would be no other disguise that would work if that was her intention.
Jack Murphy
I'm not even a porkyfag but you guys need to stop speedreading interviews. All Negi said is that Itsuki being first girl in the first chapter doesn't really mean anything. Just that. I've seen this being put as "killing her chances" or "destroying her" when it pretty much said nothing at all.
Isaac Evans
I also cannot say exactly how much I care anymore. Before this arc, I was super invested. I want to see her happy now, but this arc has left a bad taste in my mouth with how it's been rushed and how Ichika and Miku's situations have been handled..
Samuel Foster
This, exactly. That's my problem with it, her being smart about it then acting retarded within a few day time span shows this was rushed beyond belief and/or just sloppy writing.
>wasted Not really, if you didn't think she was going to do something nice for her after what she did then I don't know what to tell you. As I as said, this was clearly rushed for whatever reason and wasn't going to last. Which then begs the question, why bother at all?
Owen Thomas
Are you fucking retard? If you don't want to discuss just get out your chink hater sucker ass out here. You're beyond fucking annoyed.
Just like all my other obvious red herrings littered throughout the manga that point to Nino.
Mason Williams
I think Negi can fix this mess by letting Ichika can be honest herself and confess by her real self in the end of this arc. We can resolve both Miku and Ichika cases by let them confess. And then only thing left is lolikanko aka Itsuki/ Yotsuba.
Brayden Reed
Unless Negi is a hack like Takeoka has written Masamune when threw and dropped too many hints with the maid and "just a prank".
Jeremiah Gonzalez
>Unless Negi is a hack O MY DEAD MOM'S BREAD
Elijah Nguyen
The wedding is all sorts of fucked up what with the many dresses and fuuts forgetting the rings. It could be that Nino was under the veil but she's not supposed to be because they're quint-gaming him again.
Owen Robinson
100% Negi is a hack. You shouldn't be surprised if he just gives everyone the slip after the manga ends. He's set for at least a decade with the success he's had.
> fuuts forgetting the rings The first time it seemed like he really just forgot. But once Raiha brought the rings to him it seems he intentionally withheld them.
Ayden Wood
Let see how this shit end. I can't judge this mad man is a hack or not. At least if he can end this shitty manga in a convincing way. I'm fine with it. If he ends with someone like Itsuki but without any effort or development----- > 101% hack.
Yep, something is up with the wedding which makes parallels from it useless for speculating.
Nathaniel Kelly
It's gonna be the other quints who took it while he was sleeping. It's pretty much guaranteed that there will be a final quints game though.
Leo Miller
>NINO'S HAND POSE >NINO' S FACE Nino is the kisser confirmed
Noah Miller
That's because he's marrying against his will. Maruo wasn't missing, he's out there in a strategic locatiom with a sniper rifle in case Fuutarou tries to run away.
> At least 4. I mean Yotsuba is still had decent panel not be a fat joke like Itsuki.
Dominic Sanchez
she is a walking shitpost that bootyblasts her other sisters because she doesn't tip toe around her feelings with the main character, it's quite entertaining actually
Christian Torres
Ichika had too. Ichika had many chapters alone with Fuutarou.
Jordan Gonzalez
It has been 5 years since TWGOK ended and I can't believe there are still butthurt Ayumifags and Tenrifags in here.
The hurt can numb over time but it never fully heals.
Grayson Williams
Be honest, for decent development, we can see: 1. Nino (everyone knows that Negi wank her very long time and especially after 7 goodbyes) 2. Ichika (slowly fall to Fuutarou, about her work, from "carry onee-chan becomes a snek") 3. Miku (she had many screentime but her development to just because want to be with Fuutarou) 4. Yotsuba (less screentime, but wholesome and understanding) 5. Itsuki (had strong start but start to fall and becomes a fat joke. Rena and 1st girl are only her trump card)
Christian Thomas
It cannot be helped, one of them actually had to eat shit after the confession. Just imagine how bad it would be when Fuutarou confesses to the winner.
Hudson Campbell
>4. Yotsuba (less screentime, but wholesome and understanding) And absolutely nothing has progressed with her, fucking nothing after the first two tests. I get you wanna go easy on her because she's the "nicest" one, but lets be perfectly fucking honest, she's dead weight right now and that's because Negi clearly is showing he has no idea how to use her anymore.
John Gomez
>It's pretty much guaranteed that there will be a final quints game though. There won't be. >Grandpa told Fuutarou that he should be able to distinguish quints faces when he visits next time. That happens 2 years before the wedding. >At the very least he should be able to tell apart his own fucking wife. It goes without saying >I'm not so sure his wife would be pleased with her sister taking her place during her own wedding and kissing her husband. But what is if the actual bride is at the altar? Than what's the fucking point? >Raiha can distinguish them and she should know who the bride is, so she would notice if the girl at the altar is someone else
Brayden Fisher
I'm just waiting for the inevitable Ichika end.
Julian Fisher
>>Nino grabbing Fuutarou's hand but being ignored in spite of her bold advances >the only one actually engaged with Fuutarou
Fuutarou is reciprocal to Nino because he holds her hand lovingly and the same time he refuses to give the lollipop (his D) to Itsuki
>>Ichika, blocking Fuutarou's view and pissing him off >>Miku clinging desperately to him while he can't see her thanks to Ichika being in the way tsuba once again ruining literally everything she touches
The other girls are ignored by him >Yotsuba and Ichika stupidity >Miku's feelings
Nathan Rodriguez
>with the many dresses There were tons of dresses because whoever the bride was, was trying out them to choose what she'll wear. The official translations made it clear.
William Thomas
>>Raiha can distinguish them and she should know who the bride is she can't
Cooper Phillips
The winner takes it all, the losers have to fall.
Elijah Reyes
Maybe you right. But at least I can feel she is more exist in there instead of a joke or does nothing in many dramas. I hope her arc will comes soon.
Chase Bell
I just hope she gets more panels later, since negi has been putting her in every X chapter since the new class
>You're missing the part where he's not even looking in Nino's direction in spite of that, but otherwise spot on. But he is physically connected to her
Jeremiah Evans
*fatter
Kayden Morales
I might be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure she can.
Yeah, I knew you're going to post that. That's the time she has found out that Itsuki has 4 identical sisters. After that point she has never mistaken them.
Caleb Perez
user I could put together a paper on all the parallels and flags and whatnot have been tripped by various quints over the course of this story. Your waifu isn't special. Negi just wants chaos.
>Grandpa told Fuutarou that he should be able to distinguish quints faces when he visits next time. That happens 2 years before the wedding. >I'm not so sure his wife would be pleased with her sister taking her place during her own wedding and kissing her husband. But what is if the actual bride is at the altar? Than what's the fucking point? quint game could easily be a planned spectacle for the guests. It would explain why fuuts 'forgot' the rings a second time.
>Raiha can distinguish them and she should know who the bride is, so she would notice if the girl at the altar is someone else The bride's veil is down until the end. Raiha looks awestruck before we cut away to the hot springs, but awestruck could easily be surprise that the wrong person is under the veil.
No thanks user, I have better things to do. Go read the manga yourself and try for reading comprehension this time rather than just muh waifu parallels.
>1. Nino - her development was the most consistent and actually helped her relevance as a character >2. Yotsuba - she overcame her depression but is still indulging her altruistic traits out of genuine kindness >3. Miku - although her development arc seems to have had a sweet ending she spent a great deal of the time having nothing to do with the rest of her sisters, also her personality is unusual and it has yet to be explained properly >4. Itsuki - had the first girl key literally in her hands but fucked it up by being too confusing and surreptitious, now it means nothing and she's like a joke character >5. Ichika - the "development" where she actually pursues Fuutarou is simply a regression to her mischievous ways
The most off-putting character, to me at least, is still Miku. Seriously, did she get raped or something? None of the other sisters took mama Nakano's death like this.
643 posts, 102 unique IPs. Are we reaching enlightenment?
Parker White
I didn't expect this thread to be 640 some posts of autism.
Grayson Garcia
That's nothing new. We've been doing that with 30 IPs a couple of months ago
Jaxson Garcia
Honestly, if Nino realizes she needs to add some sort of "Learn all about you" line to her confession to Fuutarou, it might actually work out in her favor plot wise. It could lengthen--again!--the effect of the confession while showing the development of her feelings, instead of getting it all out at once like Miku.
But I'm not persuaded she really needs to do it, because I don't think her view of love is one-sided.
Jeremiah Roberts
This is what Negi has done to Itsuki. I hope he is happy now.
David Evans
Welcome to toubun!
Joshua Fisher
So there's more IPs now, but the nature of the threads hasn't changed. Just more idiots here now?
