Ripple and stand users have their healing at a much higher level than a normal person. As long as the organ or anything vital is outright destroyed, or they receive an really bad injury (like being ripped in half, or someone punches through their torso), they can heal it off in time.

Injuries don't mean shit. A character dies when Araki wants them to. Jotaro got his fucking miniscus in his knee sliced open by Kakyoin, a completely UNFIXABLE injury that you CANNOT repair AT ALL. He should be limping for the rest of his life, but nope, didn't even matter.

Buccarati literally mentions it in the next fight.

Araki can't write for shit when fights are involved but usually everything is golden.

I was looking forward to seeing it animated since it's my favorite from the part 5 manga, but both seemed unusually bad for JoJo episodes. Normally my favorites (i.e. the Highway Star fight) have fucking awesome episodes and this one felt like a slideshow.

Jojo does this all the time. Part 7 legit had me expect characters to keel over more often, and then have a couple characters die to pretty much nothing out of the blue.
