The cgi isn't Berserk levels of bad, it's similar to the cgi in High Score Girl. So if the adaptation turns out to be shit, I don't think it's going to be because of the cgi, just a generic adaptation fuck up.

All of the story throughout the manga was how Ohma was slowly breaking his body down to keep going and get further, how history repeated itself like with the first Kengan and all.
Ohma actually dying was the best way it could have ended, as sad as it was. It even now is helping Omega by Kazzy thanks to him having becoming the incredibly competent individual everyone saw him as, aswell as setting back the Protagonist powerlevel.

I would argue a healthy Ohma with control of Advance/Demonbane at this point would likely been able to possibly even beat Gensai. The point was that more than anything Gensai respected his will by beating the last bit of life he had in him out of him though, having Ohma atleast go out on a high note.

I liked the fact that this was common sense among fighters. Like Agito against Okubo, Gao vs Kaneda, or Ohma beating Inaba. When the fighters were being assholes you as a reader could feel it, like Akoya losing it with Cosmo, or Raian being a dick with Mokichi.

Kengan would be godly for a fighting game, all of the tournament fighters got their own styles and there are some more freaky ones (Bando).
Also it had the Street Fighter crossover chapter, so you can cash in on a Ryu in it.
