My intention wasn't to suggest that spending $2k in your first month is smart. In fact I readily admit it was pretty stupid. The majority of stuff I ordered at the beginning was Mandarake stuff, they were not rare, not going anywhere and I could easily have spaced it out without worry of losing out.

That said it was all of the same series that I really enjoy, I got everything I wanted and bingebuying won't happen again unless magically 10 must-buy figures get opened up for PO in the same month which never happens.

I basically set aside $500 a month for all kinds of extraneous hobby/nonessential shopping expenses, that builds up as it doesn't get used. So the many months I haven't bought any figures means that when a month with lots of great stuff shows up I'm ready

Not taking pictures using auto takes way more time and I am not good at it, but I do like the different types of effects you can get. There's several ways to do it, one I used to use is applying some brass by heating a brass spin brush and rubbing the bars on the brush while it spins, it's a bit hard to do but one you get the experience you can do it no problem.
