For the retards and speedreaders who accused Netero of being a asshole (or worse, a psychopath) for letting children fighting against the Royal Guards, one must remember that Gon and Killua went behind Netero's back to East-Gortaeu to fight aganst ants and save Kite anway .
Also the children were accompanied by experienced adult hunters and their task was to separate the guards from the the king. The rest was left to their imagination.
Yes Netero wanted a fight with Meruem and at the same time, save humanity from the Chimera ants and to minimize the casaulties on their side. Netero simply killed three birds with one stone with actions he took.
Morality is only ever black and white, everything else is just doing whatever the fuck you're strong enough to get away with, anyone who does not even understand this is not fit to participate in discussions about morality.
Benjamin Mitchell
So Netero's actions reduced casualties by around 90% compared to just carpet-bombing the area.

Letting people with nen compete against nenless people in the hunter exam is completely unfair and has the possibility of preventing potentially talented nenless people from becoming hunters
>gotoh >netero >meruem >royal guards >uvo >pakunoda >komugi >kastro >johness >etc. If you still haven't notced yet, this isn't Wan Piss or boku no stakes.

The hunter exam is not actually a method of raising a new generation of hunters. It is primarily a method of discovering whom of dangerous superpowered people already in existence you should shower with benefits and privileges, and hopefully direct towards doing something useful, before they decide to just take whatever they can.
