Well, big part of Luffy's success is owed to his dad and gramps. It's obviously worse for Sanji, but I while they didn't make him super-human, I can't imagine his trainings didn't come in handy when Zeff taught him. And he got a raid suit now (though it's more of a reward for help when you think about it).

It doesn't matter either way, whether he has a famous bloodline or not doesn't diminish his hard work given there's plenty of royalty shitters

I think the misleading part is "someone we're all well acquainted with". Kuina was seen in like 2-3 chapters (+ one for her grave), with only one major appearance. She wasn't even mentioned last time Tashigi appeared. I don't think it'd be fair to call her that, especially that lots of people are jumping in mid-ride. Zoro fits the description better, But it would actually make more sense for the person "we're all well-acquainted with" to be Tashigi herself (which would simultaneously explain their similarity, they'd be cousins or something).

Yasu's death added a lot to the plot. This isn't a hard one to buy, Oda's been more comfortable killing characters post-ts. If it was someone like Moscato, sure, worry he'll come back.
