guess I'll dump it then.
At least we get more cute birdie in this chapter.
Thanks
Nero is a fuckin cute little autist.
Her real name is Sekre which is close to Sekke
inches away from something great in this panel
holy shit i fucking called it
HOLY SHIT! THINGS ARE HEATING UP!
Well I guess that explains the tear tracks under the demon's eyes
So licht cucked wevil last minute lmao
>demon's name is lumiere
RIP asta is astaroth theories
But that's the name of the prince.
isnt that the first wizard kings name
jamini card.
Lumiere is first wizard king name...
Fuck it. I shed a tear for Licht.
What did he fucking do to deserve all these suffering, it's not fair bros.
Imagine becoming a legend because you had to kill your best friend, who knew you were loyal to him to the very end
Lumiere looks so much like Asta, I hope they arent related.
>Speed fucking reading.
Jesus fucking christ.
>speed reader magic
>Sekre
It's Secret, which is just like in english means "secret". But it can also mean "lock" when used in the right context. In french, there's the term "serrure a secret", which is essentially used to refer to built in locks for doors and suitcases (that allows you to open and lock them at will).
Lumière means light, obviously.
Lumiere is the name of the first wizard king. Licht, while still fighting for control over his body, is begging for Lumiere to kill him.
He deflowered the hottest girl in the Clover kingdom before marrying her. Such a sin can't go unpunished.
Chad LichtBro
>which means secret in English*
Fuck me.
Be honest, did you know black clover would get this good?
still got to fuck her so thats a win
I liked it from the beginning, but it really took off once the royal knights exam started.
I liked the manga, Is the anime that had an unbearable trash start
Chad Clover just keeps on giving
>secret means secret in english
DEEPEST
FUCKING
LORE
No, dont be rude to licht man. He was going to take responsibility for his act of interracial procreation even if everyone else was against it and even if the elves have aversion towards the idea. They are going to have a wedding and they're supposed to become happy as a family.
The man has suffered enough that life has literally kicked him in the balls till he was half dead in the ground, but he still have the compassion to trust his only friend. Just don't man.
TABATA YOU MADMAN
nope. but im glad it did
Tabatha's foreshadowing game on point again.
I love Black Clover.
So Licht thinks Lumiere killed everybody
Turns out it wasn't Lumiere
The nobles are told by the devil to take the elves magic
Lumiere comes back
Everybody is dead including the nobles except Licht
Was there a person who looks like the FWK who also led the attack? Licht was glad to know that it wasn't really him, so that means that there was someone who looked like him and convinced Licht that he was betrayed
How did you speed read this fast, THE CHAPTER WAS JUST POSTED!
FWK made several magic tools to acts as 3rd party magic, its highly possible someone one had a transformation MT and a Wind MT
Sekre says on the 10th page that someone looking like Lumiere all the magic tools.
>Mana Zone:Celeritas Lectio
The light magic decimated the entire elf race in every elves flash back while their own magic was sealed by a device. See Its more than enough to suspect that FWK betrayed them and only Licht was the last man standing.
*Stole all the magic tools
God fucking dammit
Devil/Demon/whatever
>Pretended to be Lumiere's dad to force Lumiere back into the castle
>Pretended to be Lumiere in the castle to obtain magic stones from Secret
>Pretended to be Lumiere in the elf realm to trick Licht into despair and become a vessel
plot twist: it was Julius!
Calm down, Sekre.
Magic tools, I meant tools.
Thank you for pointing that out. So there must have been somebody who looked like the FWK
>You're the only one who can fulfill it Lumiere please, kill me.
15 pages goes by so quickly
Np, it was most likely Wevil making someone transform to look like Lumiere.
Welcome to the weekly hell.
He knocked her up too. He was properly taking responsibility though.
can anybody remove the words from this, that demon is orgasmic
I wonder what Sekre's dress can do
Why is Asta so close to looking like a demon and no one gives a shit?
You mean black form?
Pretty much, shouldn't have Nero noticed something fucked up about Asta being anti magic and also start to look like a demon everytime he uses it.
The Black clover killer
People never notice that because they never see the real demon
His overwhelming dumbassness and loudness distracts them.
my guessing is that she knows how strong willed he is, because she literally lives with him 24/7, so he wont be consumed by despair, just like Licht could resist it
Toilet, clean now manpig.
Look at it on the other side, its probably the reason why Nero kept hanging out with Asta, to take a close look at him or to keep the demon power in check.
And people probably don't give a shit about how he looked because they literally don't know what they're looking at.
I have no idea what the fuck is going on for like 50 chapters, but I do enjoy it.
I mean there was Noelle the first time he first used black form, but like said.
>Demon and Elves try to ruin everything while Chad Humans are whopping their asses through the power of Fuck Yeah.
Fuck Humans
>t. elf cuck
Why did the devil go through the trouble of creating a 5-leaf grimoire to make himself stronger when he could have just bought a Thesaurus?
I got that far, but I don't get the part with the burn guy with two elves in him, how the elves regeneration in general works, why the seven dragon balls are that important, etc.
Reread it?
For fuck's sake user, read slower.
>HUMANS DID NOTHING WRONG, IT'S ALL THE FAULT OF THE DEMONS
I fucking knew this would happen.
I don't get it, why did nobles think that Sealing Magic was usless? I can think of many ways it could be very useful.
But that didn't happen, Jeremy.
Nobles are stupid if your magic can’t nuke a town it’s shit pretty much
Muh toilet
>Acting like the 5-Leaf Grimoire isn't just a Demonic Thesaurus.
>but I don't get the part with the burn guy with two elves in him
William/Burn Guy only has one Elf in him, reincarnation magic thanks to the Word Magic Devil is why.
>how the elves regeneration in general works
The Stones where used to reincarnate the Elves, the Stones, as shown in this and several other chapters are insanely strong and can be used as a conduit for Forbidden Magic
>why the seven dragon balls are that important
The 7 legendary Stonegon Ovals are ancient Elven Relics that from what I can gleam from them sort of work like miniature Magic Nuclear Reactors, and when all of their power is directed at one objective it allows you to not only amplify your magic multiple folds but also seemingly connects to a multitude of different stone structures built around the world in BC that were built for extremely specific purposes, a la the Stone Tablet used for resurrection, the Pedestal used to bring the Devil into BC World and most recently the Statue of the First Wizard King.
The devil can only possess one person, Jeremy.
cute prince
Wait, I can kinda see the current royals features on him, like Acier's
Damn. This page is intense.
There goes my dreams of that sphere being made by Spade.
People probably think that's how we wield his "magic" like an armor, same thing with luck.
I apologize if I've been speed reading, but it's the real wizard king that has been sealed by Sekre into a statue, and she needs the magic stones to undo the seal? The seal was imperfect hence he wasn't perfectly human and still exhibits statue-like characteristics? I wonder what events happened that had her seal Lumiere into a statue
Your guesses can't go too far when you're being attacked by Lumi's magic tools + light magic.
Light magic is rare as fuck
Wevil only planted the seeds of greed, check bottom panel.
Also, relevant page
Licht-sama is so cool.
>Don`t do it
Why they never listen?
So something I'm not getting, Wevil and this chapter both indicate that getting a 5 leaf grimoire
attempts to turn the owner into a demon. However, Licht fights it off. So who's the devil inside Asta's book, or did part of Licht's soul break off into it?
It's Licht's demonic soul. Current Licht doesn't have a soul.
Look at all these brainlet not being able to keep up with simple shit like black clover.
Wouldn't be surprised if Lumiere beats it down and Sekre seals the demon into Licht's grimoire, meaning Asta is channeling Licht's despair/hatred when he uses his antimagic form.
Fags.
>demon attempts to possess Licht for his own body
>Licht fights it off with the help of the magic stones
>negative mana is too much to bear, manifests as the demon god (majin) that FWK fought
>devil inside Asta's book is the same devil you see here
>Nero seals the devil into Licht's grimoire afterwards
>seals FWK too using the magic stones after he defeats the majin Licht
Sorry user
God damm...
Demon fault not human
Licht turned himself into the demon king to not let his body and power fall into the hands of the devil.
>Minister
There's a parliament?
>devil inside Asta's book is the same devil you see here
You're not making any sense. If that guy was sealed in the grimoire, why does the Ronne devil acts as if everything was his doing?
What a great plan.
>Demon*
This page is kino as fuck holy shit
Um, no? What does having a Minister have to do with having a legislative branch of government?
In England, Minister's hold Government Positions, graduate Middle School before you read manga.
>In England
And since when has Clover Kingdom become England?
In 150+ other countries, a minister is part of the executive body and has jack shit to do with the legislative body.
Yes, I know what a Minister is, but even in the UK, you don't have to have been in Parliament to be made Minister. A Minister is the head of a government department, part of the executive branch, not the legislative branch.
The demon part is wrong, Astas demon is clearly a different one...or maybe its just a part of the word demon that wasleft behind after Licht regained his sanity.
Clover Kingdom Parallels quite a bit of Medieval England.
Oh I thought you had to hold office in Parliament to be made a minister, I guess I fucked up what I remembered about the British Political system.
HOL UP....Is Lumiere Julius!??! Is this some time manipulation shit or am I just stupid!? Remember Julius said he saw the future and he didn't lose.
No, no, no nononononononono, No. This has reached new levels of headcanon never thought possible, don't get high before you post user.
He does act like Julius, but Lumiere wields light magic and Julius time magic. They're probably just related.
user a cute.
>that blood over Tetia's stomach
>A bit of medieval england!
>All of those Roman and French names
???
RIP Yuno
>The Prince is called Lumiere
>Tetia and Licht are literally the Beauty and the Beast
Sasuga, Tabata-san
> licht used sword magic to cut open dead tetias body and took the child out of it, its in a catatonic state for 500 years, the demon will take it over after failing in this arc
>Tetia is beautiful
>Yuno isn't the reincarnation of Licht's kid
>He's LITERALLY Licht's kid
Wevil made several statements of having no clue who is inside astas grimoire.
It's a mystery still.
>Oh I thought you had to hold office in Parliament to be made a minister
You don't have to, but 90% of the time the Ministers are political appointments and thus they put people in Parliament that the PM owes political favors to.
Screw it, I’d fuck Noelle (Male).
Thay doesn't make much sense so to why reincarnation magic would work on him then
Baka
You know Rome didn't have Broadswords, Castles, Dragons, Knights, the same type of Christianity, the agriculture systems seen in BC, and a multitude of other Medieval aspects seen in BC, Yes it does have some French Iconography, but it has a huge amount of British influence too, its basically Medieval Brittan with Norse Mythology sprinkled in.
Oh ok, that makes sense, nice to know its as corrupt over there as it is back here.
fuck I forgot the I in Britain, goddammit.
Who is the cutest boy between Lumiere, Luck and Langris?
No stop thinking bad thoughts!
What big mouths to put my dick in.
Traditions are gunna start getting really funky if they dont start differentiating between demon and devil soon.
Ladros obviously
Im sure after this arc they might now try and stop asta from using black form for the fear of another demon. They didn’t really know about demons before so its not like they had a reason.
Translations*
Eh we will see. Depends on if anyone has any idea about the anti magic.
Maybe the soul was parted from the kid during the timejump, and now he got it back.
Sounds pointless.
Also yunos hair is black unlike either of his parents
Based
>this is how you bait anons
Sekre has no offensive spells
She only has the power to seal my dick in her vagoo
>Yes it does have some French Iconography, but it has a huge amount of British influence too
Name 3 british influence in BC that aren't already in french culture.
Pedophilia is one
Nero sealed the devil inside the grimoire.
More like name 3 elements of British culture that were not stolen from France.
And gave it to asta because???
Bad teeth. Shit weather. Bogans.
Stop speedreading. The grimoire wasn't given to Asta by anyone, it chose Asta on its own(or because of the devil's influence). Considering no one seems to know anything about anti-magic we can assume that the grimoire had just been sitting in the tower for 500 years.
Why do I always get the urge of wanting to hug them?
The devil inside astas grimoire is completely unrelated to anything the events 500 years ago.
Wevil doesnt even know who it is.
>The devil inside astas grimoire is completely unrelated to anything the events 500 years ago.
You shouldn't frame your speculation as a fact. We don't know where it came from so we can't rule out the events of 500 years ago either. I think it's much more likely that the devil slipped in back then rather than it having somehow appeared inside of the grimoire later on. The fact that Wevil doesn't know about the other devil just means that they weren't working together, but Wevil didn't have a body back then and was also sealed at some point so it makes sense he wouldn't know about everything that was going on.
The Devil in the Grimoire traits bare little resemblance to Demon King Licht or Wevil, it is preposterous to think that they are connected, Amevil is a different Devil summoned into the Grimoire.
This was a pretty good chapter but a small nitpick I have is that five hundred years ago it seems the architecture and clothing/culture is identical to modern day Black clover... which isn't very realistic
>Nero will unseal more of the demons power into asta
Hype, anti mana zone incoming
We dont know if nero knows anything about what's sealed in astas grimoire.
We have only ever seen the grimoire devil's silhouette which heavily resembles Wevil. We've never seen its face so for all we know it could have the exact same face as the majin. You can't just rule it out like that. Keep in mind that this event is the cornerstone of the entire setting and is connected to the main characters through Yuno's parentage and Asta's grimoire, as well as their overall goal of becoming the magic emperor. Narratively speaking it makes perfect sense for all of this to be connected to the devil in the grimoire too.
Its trying to much loose ends for my liking personally.
Not him but silhouette or not it looks nothing like the majin
This is the majin (who clearly uses magic too)
And this is the amvil
Also amvil has way more bone structure to his face.
Are Amvil and Wevil from the same place?
Can we agree that anti-magic is a type of magic from the dimension that Wevil comes from?
Then howcome he doesn't use antimagic?
yes, since Amvil's anti-magic resonates with Wevil's magic at least that what Wevil said so, on chapter 197.
Maybe it's like in the human realm where every human has a different type of magic. Maybe demons have different types of magic as well.
doesn't have a third eye too.
"How come he doesn't use ANTI-MAGIC?"
>Cause he has a different type of MAGIC
Son, we need to have a discussion about how words work.
I think she likely does. Keep in mind that Licht's swords were contained in his grimoire, but after the grimoire turned into a 5-leaf the swords were somehow extracted from it and hidden in different places like the dungeon and the elf fortress. Nero was able to both navigate the dungeon(pic related) and also to locate the sword behind the wall, which suggests that she had been there before. She displayed somewhat similar behavior with the 3rd sword in the elf fortress.
My theory is that it was Sekre and Lumiere that hid the swords away. The only reason they would do something like that is if they realized Licht's grimoire was dangerous and considering that Sekre just happens to have sealing magic I think it makes sense that she would have been the one to seal the anti-magic devil into the grimoire. The word devil doesn't know about the anti-magic devil so this must have happened after the word devil was sealed as well or lost its body or something.
The only question that remains is where did the anti-magic devil come from? This is a question we can't really answer at this point. Lumiere's reaction in suggests that the devils weren't exactly common 500 years ago so my guess would be that it's somehow connected to the demon lord. Perhaps the demon lord gives birth to the devils? Or maybe Licht using that spell on himself, corrupting his soul in the process, is what created the devil. What I find interesting is that the elves considered demon magic to be forbidden, but in the word devil's reaction suggests that even he's concerned about Licht turning himself into a demon lord, although that could just be because that would ruin Licht's body. Licht also mentioned that he was turning into a devil too so perhaps the anti-magic devil could just be a manifestation of his hatred.
Maybe but mind you humans are capable of recognizing wevils putrid magic as magic.
While anti magic doesnt feel anything like it.
Has Nero's grimoire been shown yet? Could it be that she's another 5 leaf holder who fell into despair? That could explain the devil horns because of the negative mana, and she sealed herself into a bird so the antimagic demon can't take advantage of her.
Licht said he would become like that devil.
Not that hes becoming a devil
I only suggested that anti-magic is a type of magic from the demon realm since like user said , Wevil mentioned that Asta's anti-magic and his own magic were resonating with each other.
Licht's soul not being able to reincarnate is what I see as a hint that Avil is the resulting separation of licht's tainted soul from his body and mind. There's not enough evidence to claim it's true, but BC is a long exercise in the elimination of possibilities. Uncovering the plot is like high end physics: there's a lot of possibly true solutions, but until more data is acquired you're stuck in a limbo with multiple answers being hypothetically valid.
She did mention her sealing magic is imperfect.
It's why the fwk is still a statue and could explain her still having neros horns.
>ARE YOU STUPID?!
>yeah he is, I forgot
I don't read BC but that's pretty funny. Based Noelle
I'm having a hard time understanding why you are here.
Noelle confirmed for not-next-Wizard King but next-next-Wizard King
I'm not here, I just saw that picture while scrolling the front page and decided to click on it
Iv been placing my bets on noelle becoming WK for a while. Or at least becoming queen of clover somehow
Ah I see.
Proceed.
>FWK and Secret seal Wevil using stones.
>Later Amvil comes from demon realm to use the Grimoire for his own purposes.
>FWK and Secret seal him in the grimore so no other demons can use it.
>FWK probably injured and sealed in statute mode soon after.
it looks like somebody still didnt graduate
>Amvil,
>Wevil.
When did you anons start using these nicknames?
>a light magic grimoire can be corrupted into whatever-the-fuck-magic-eating-monster grimoire
>Wevil can use this grimoire even though he already has word magic(Yuno's natural element matched his grimoire's element so Wevil's element should have matched as well)
>a sword grimoire can be corrupted into a ??? grimoire
>but there's also a devil that controls anti-magic inside of the grimoire
Doesn't this imply that Asta actually has access to 2 different magic types, but because he doesn't have mana he can't use the grimoire's magic and has to rely on the devil?
We will have to see till we get more information because nero mentioned after the fight with the majin fwk was dying.
The sword are the magic technically. But asta cant use them to there fullest because he has no magic
I considered that but that shoudn't be the case. Patri's grimoire actually changed it's element entirely, so it stands to reason Licht's grimoire would have done the same thing. If not, there should be an explanation for the difference.
>Anti-Magic Devil
>Word Devil
When a second Devil was introduced.
>Asta can barely use the second sword's ability during the first time it was used
>was only able to do so presumably in my headcanon due to nero being there to "unseal" its potential
Have we been played all along?
YO
N O W i get those nicks,Ty user
I dunno they went from being magic to anti magic.
It's pretty different to me
I dont really see any reason to think this.
Just throwing it out there in hopes that it sticks, but I'm not betting on it.
It was already sealed in a dungeon. I dpbt really think anything else was done.
Infact I dont even think she could use her magic as a bird. Because she said her own seal was undone when the fwk seal was broken
No, the anti-magic has been stated to come from Asta's devil. The devil is separate from the grimoire. There is no devil in Wevil's new grimoire and nor was Wevil aware of Anvil's existence even though Wevil was there when the 5-leaf grimoire was created. The grimoire has a different ability that Asta can't use because of his lack of magic.
Unlikely, after touching Asta grabs the sword, Nero isn't seen until the dungeon starts to collapse, and she's not around when he uses it alongside Gauche.
All I know is that when asta inserts one of the swords into his grimoire for the first time since its corruption a new page is written out
This, gonna drop this mango in the following 15 chapters desu
You cant drop what you dont read
Demon licht, that's why his current body is on autopilot
But I do ;-;
How stupid someone can be?
Cope.
That litterally not who it is. Just this chapter it shown him transform into the majin and that was killed. Its skull is in hage
I think it's possible the grimoire's power is to store objects in it. We know based on Wevil that (5-leaf?) grimoires can be used by people the grimoire hasn't specifically chosen, but other people can't use Asta's grimoire because of the devil's anti-magic messing with them. Perhaps the sword grimoire turning into a storage grimoire was what originally expelled Licht's swords from it, which is why they needed to be collected and rewritten back into the grimoire. The big sword which was the only sword in it was probably put into the grimoire by Nero and FWK when they noticed the change in the grimoire, which then lead to them scattering the remaining swords far away from it.
Uh maybe? I hate getting too speculative about this stuff. Especially with character actions after the matter.
But if astas grimoire is a storage grimoire it sounds kinda pointless if all it does is store the sword magic swords witch I'm pretty sure the orriginal sword magic grimoire did.
Well...
Yeah, I guess it's not happening. I'll wait for Tabata to reveal more, then. Guess I'm too much of a brainlet/speedreader to make my own speculation, I'll just read the others' here.
Yeah but too bad you cant prove it chose Asta. As far as im concerned it makes more sense that someone gave it to him
Uh huh
The grimoire literally flew to his hand just like all the other grimoires picked their owners during the ceremony. You're grasping at straws.
>comes out of some hole and mysteriously has a demon
>couldn’t possibly be given to him
You can be in denial all you want but All the grimoires choosing their owners dont contain a demon and come out of a suspicious hole. Makes more sense that someone gave him that grimoire for some ulterior motive.
Until you can prove someone gave It too him there no reason to think the grimoire still is not choosing its owner.
It fits the story more if someone gave it to him. Asta isn’t supposed to be special but having an insanely powerful grimoire choose him wouldn’t be a good foil to yuno the chosen one. Hard work vs talent. That grimoire choosing him oozes talent which isnt asta at all. Its far more likely that the grimoire was given to him because they thought he was weak and would be easily corrupted. I am sure the grimoire is slowly but surely corrupting Asta but not as fast as it would have if he was weak and not someone as strong willed as he is.
>J-dog is shitting up S8 thread
Based
The grimoire choose him because he fell into dispair.
Whats s8?
It's an anti-magic grimoire. If anyone else had received it they would have just tossed it away because they would be stronger without it, so the grimoire had to wait for someone without any magic.
Jerifaggot has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He'll never be able to stop thinking about BC.
While I dont approve. god damn that was a weaker first chapter than here.
Also I'm now remembering how much of a mess kishis art is everything blends to much.
So why do you guys think she approved the name nero?
Just liked being edgy?
>why wouldn't someone want to be called Silvantus Schnauzer?
No idea.
Wait does this mean neros dress is a magic tool?
Whatever it is I'm glad she started wearing it.
Yes it allows her to transform into a little bird. Good for the princes tiny dick
Could be the earliest form of magical armor.
>Lumiere researched magic tools 500 years ago
I wonder if Heart or Spade continued his research on those. Clover doesn't seem to have many magic tools with the exception of the royal family.
The Emperor was literally called Julius
The Clover Kingdom is a fantasy kingdom inspired by Europe in general, it doesn't have 1 particular base nation or era, it's just what Tabata thought was cool
Magical tool were 100 percent continued within the royal family.
Nozel even shown a few most notably the healing one he lent asta.
But I think it wasent shared among the populace for the Express purpose of not upsetting the balance.
Or someone ran to Spade with the stolen tools and improved on them for 500 years.
Could also be the Clover nobility mismanaging their country for all these years and sold off the precious tools for gold and jewels.
So the demon king was a physical manifestation of Licht's dark elf energy Licht made with the infinity stones?
With the way magical tools woulda upset the hierarchy. Seems like to me they just kept his research under wraps.
It's not entirely canon but the plot of quartet knights shows that a noble family was rising because of there promise in magical tools and not there magical capabilities and they were killed because of it
>flashback actually keeps up the hype and makes you want more of it
TABATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>sekre
>sekke
Bros?..
It bothers me that some people didnt figure this out months ago.
Quite litterally all signs pointed at this
Good too see nero looked dead inside in the past too
The evil royals took them all and probably created their own pantheon.
Soon some Greek god looking fuckers will arrive and nuke the place.
They did a pretty piss poor job taking them all
I doubt Lumiere would have put up with those people after he became the magic emperor, a national hero and the king as well if I recall correctly. He would have had the authority backed up by the people's support to remove those royals from power and he was also the strongest person around so none of them would have been able to resist. It's more likely that those people escaped to the neighboring kingdoms or were perhaps demoted to nobility or something. Heart or Spade specializing in magic tools would also give them some kind of unique traits.
Speaking of Heart and Spade, why can't Tabata start building them up already? We were introduced to Diamond fairly early on and have gotten this small trickle of information about it since then which gives us an idea of what it's like. Spade and Heart on the other hand are complete mysteries beyond the short descriptions on the map and 1 or 2 mentions during the story.
Fwk was dying after he killed licht
He was still in power for a while since he was crowned the first magic emperor after defeating the demon.
People get titles after they die too.
More like the devil gave the humans the idea to do this. It may not have been their idea but they still went along with it.
Sure but the dude was a recluse in his room
If word got out that he was dying witch it probably did. Many of the corrupt royals that were in on it could get by without persecution. All it would take is behaving 1-3 years
It's not a title it's a military position. If Lumiere was only the magic emperor for a week or something it probably would have just been a title, but instead they made it into a permanent feature of the kingdom.
Not him but it might of not started as a military postion.
I cried at the last page.
The demon can only posses one person at a time retard
Why are you responding to the mongoloid
Then, who gave birth to his descendants since both him and Tetia are dead?
They have blood connecting to the royal family.
It has not been stated the fwks father died or anyone on else related to the fwk.
This kinda makes the most since. Licht seems already familiar with the anti magic properties of the swords meaning that they've probably always had that effect in some way and him turning into a dark elf/demon king just amplified the affect even further maybe like how Pastry's light magic turned into dark light magic.
Uh no it's a devil.
Anyone remember the term dispair eating devil?
Whatevers in astas grimoire cant be a manifestation of dispair. Its feeding off it.
Do people actually think the time wizard is dead?
He fucking better be
No, that was referring to asta and he already despaired once at the start of the series which is how the grimoire found him.
The devil in the grimoire will show up soon in the flashback.
>Reffers to asta
>shows the devil in the grimoire behind him
Yeah okay
High end?
How does that look like
It would be cool if there were 4 swords to match the 4 arms in Licht's demon form
>FWK wanted to make tools for people who didn't have magic power
Maybe people with no magic power were more common back then
This is very likely to be a case of jaiminis shitty translation. Pic related means to say having lots of magic power rather than "the ability to use magic"
Wait for ViS to be sure.
Elf Arc has been fucking amazing.
I want to see nero kahono nelle and Sally shopping.
Which is faster, light magic or this user's speed reading magic?
MS said "little magic power" so yeah, wait for Viz.
This user knows what's up.
I need a girls night out
I want to see them wearing each others clothes Or better yet none at all
>What I expected
Trashy battle shonen, fairy tail 2.0
>What I go
Trashy battle shonen with a childish story which has no right to have such great characters and background and world building as it has.
My nigga
The royals are such human shit, those magic tools could have basically been an industrial revolution when you think of it.
Be silent peon
Anyone else got pic related vibes? Goosebumps, loving it so far
Lumiere looks like Asta here
The * he had on his head disappeared when he “died”. It’s pretty obvious he used a spell.
I can't take it BCbros.. I already cried for Vanessa
Royals are massive eugenics based supremacists. The thought of anyone succeeding at anything without a birthed magical ability backing it up caused hundreds of years of stagnation and continuous streams of homicides.
RIP Zara Ideal, the truest knight to ever live.
Naw. He’ll just be reincarnated as YamixCharlottes kid, star and all.
She probably specifically watched over him because of his demonic ties, if he ever went crazy she'd resurrect Lumi. Chances are Asta is immune to Wevil takeover precisely because of his condition. Heck, we don't even know about the demon living inside Asta and theres' clearly multiple demons because of what Lumiere said this chapter. We could literally be dealing with some kind of middle-ranking demon lord who's trying to enter our world and isn't even final boss level.
That was already confirmed in the question block that the mark on his forehead is proof of the current wizard king.
It disappearing only means one thing
oh shit I didn't notice this, good catch user.. I wonder how Nero develops her demon horns
>living inside asta
Stop speed reading
Julius R. Sukehiro
That would be cool.
Nope, glad I stuck with it.
Just more proof Black Clover is ripping off Bleach. Prince is literally Urahara and Licht is all the Captains that became Hollows.
Based
Where's the BD version of episode 63?
>Why is Asta so close to looking like a demon and no one gives a shit?
They're going to try to kill Asta at the end of the arc and Nol is going to save him
M A X I M U M K I N O INCOMING!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
>Licht is all the Captains that became Hollows.
Wrong Licht is meguca become witch het your facts right user
So, how did licht's child (Yuno) survive through all that? were they also sealed? was it timetravel?
Drown in ur toilet already futurama fapper
Stop speed reading.
Hes the reincarnation of his child. Not his actual fucking child
>but it's a turn off your brain manga!
Came in expecting a fairly standard shonen with fantastic art, rushed character development, and subpar worldbuilding/story.
Got a fairly standard shonen with fantastic art, slightly less rushed character development, and a surprisingly kickass worldbuilding/story.
My headcanon for the ending would be after a time skill, Asta being the strongest wizard behind Yuno, but both of them realize that the whole being a figurehead just isn't for them and that they'll do more good roaming the countryside instead of helping manage a country and its military, which they just leave to Noelle.
It's easy to follow
I just lost faith in this generation
Honestly the next generation is looking pretty powerful.
Asta and yuno really do got some competition.
Yuno’s next power up will be a second grimoire for the spirit of the elf child inside of f him, allowing him to use two different elements of magic.
Sanzoku??
Sounds redundant with how charmy is.
And 99 percent of reincarnations simply have an upgraded attribute to there elf counterpart.
>scribble-painting
holy shit, you really are fucking retarded.
NO!
>Tfw Asta impregnating Noelle and Mimosa will be a huge symbolic and practical milestone in breaking the clover caste system
Why is she so perfect bros?
It straight out said that there is 3 Royal Houses for the Kingdom of Clover. it is possible Tetia and Lum have a third sibling.
Kaizoku??
Expressive twin tails
Cute!
Why are those harlets not wearing shoes?
how can they give footjobs with shoes on?
Place your bets Cloverbros, does Sekre wear panties or not?
Not. I wouldn't if I were her
>Asta denies this sexy cousin for some nun
What is he, gay?
Probably not. She runs zero risk since Lumiere probably is more interested in his magic tools than his is in cute bird-girl puss.
>What is he, gay?
He has a really hardcore older sister fetish.
Honestly yes because astas annoying appearance in the beginning was a child screaming against reality that he is a useful person and that he can achieve heights of everyone else (despite missing a vital part that every human posesses)
Everyone telling him he should be a depressed blob in the corner for being born that way is a harsh thing to hear all your life long
And when he starts succeeding i feel so happy for him because it feels like he makes progress going against the stigma of a weak manaless peasant
And the plot was constantly moving
This is actually an ingenious play on the Montana's part. Let's Asta be part of the romance subplots and keep it going indefinately with out making him testicleless or an idiot at least in this regard
I wonder how Nero feels about Asta.
Shes already got a husbando so probably like a burden.
she loves him like only a mother could
Mothers loving there children is a myth
I wouldn't know. I didn't grow up with my mother
>Sister Lily
>Lily
>Lilith
>Lilith is often envisioned as a dangerous demon of the night, who is sexually wanton, and who steals babies in the darkness.
Kino incoming
But you just changed her name.
Fucking savage
No. The prince was just a pervert
No
Yes
That's life
NERO HAS BIG FEET
Based
you know what they say about big feet, right?
Big funk!
Would you take his hand?
Watch Asta bag some thorny queen
Would you not?
No way fag.
Can't believe I barely just realized that's the Third Eye and Patri
P-pls licht sama
How do you think Patri felt about some twink human hanging out all the time with his crush?
Seething
That design is cool as fuck.
>Tabata remembered the scars and stitches
I love whenever artists include little details like that
>Villain is a seething gay elf (read: Jew)
What did Tabata mean by this?
>That look
Hopefully Secret-chan got to bang FWK before he was sealed
Rhya?
>Implying Lumiere is interested in human females
>Implying that Lumiere didn’t just build a magical onahole to satisfy his sexual urges
hot
cute
This, it defected to Asta because he was the only capable of using it.
I love Black Clover so much.
is this what we call a cursed image?
So if Asta is to fall into despair does this mean the Devil can take over his body?
yes
would MHA be better if Chadsta was the MC?
MHA would be better with pretty much ANY other character as the MC desu.
Depends. Does the plot stay the same? I mean at least with Asta you don't have him sucking the explosion boy's cock.
Imagine Bakugou trying any of his usual bullshit on Asta.
Reminds me of that "This is my girlfriend, X" scene.
have we really reached the point where that's the only frame of reference people have for OMK
Yes.
Yes
All those magic tools are going to make an appearance aren't they?
I imagine the crystals already have with what's his name
Bakugou would probably actually have some sort of begrudging respect for Asta
I am now on the current chapter of the manga!!! So good. Why isn’t black clover more popular than mha by now?

BC>MHA I think it deserves to get more recognition all around and the sales should be reflecting that. If you look here here you can see why I make this argument has sales are doing good we are still behind and can still catch up and overtake mha as next naruto or even get black clover to be mainstream. Even though this is from part 1 of last year mha sales this is still good imo BC>mha that is the way it should go. We can do this by buying more volumes.
what is this
BC is never going to be more popular then MHA because cape shit appeals to normalfags
Jimmbo copypasta
Reddit falseflag
Good chapter desu. Will read the official chapter as well.
What elements go good with wind (save fire)?
MADA MADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Lightning and Ice, go full god of storms.
Waiting for the official chapter ;-;
I end up missing all the discussions here.
>tfw you helped make this image and see it reposted.
When will Asta develop his swordsmanship and start using short bursts of black stuff for super fast swings?
That almost seems too useful but I'd love to see it
there is the 2nd swords ability to absorb magic from a friend and sending it back with anti magic property (like asta did against mars in the dungeon)
so im sure there is room for him to grow
>makes Sekre a qt magic? dress

He's a man of good taste.
so Licht knows that Wevil is so strong, he'd rather use a high tier forbidden spell to prevent Wevil taking his body over and become a Demon God. He knew that Lumi can stop a Demon God than a Devil. Just how strong a Devil is?
ive been so confused for the last bunch of chapters bros, there's so many goddamn elf names that i gotta keep track of. Can someone give me a quick rundown of what and WHO exactly was doing what for the course of the last couple arcs regarding the current plotline, like with the magic stones and licht and patri and whatever (not stuff like the magic knight battles etc.). Please help my feeble brain
You could always reread it.
Anti-magic can't be controlled like magic right? It only resides in the swords.
Maybe one day.
It would basically just be Kirishma with an Erasure-head like quirk as the MC
So yes, it would be much better. Plus watching Bakugo sperg out over being outdone by a buff manlet would be hilarious.
Cursed image
I like the black to red hair fade more
Me too, it’s a lot nicer.
Retains her color skeme more too
But alas we simply have to wait till tabata colors her
it's 100% gonna be pink hair
Pink?
Elf fanas hair is pink though.
Why wouldnt it be red like neros chest fluff
>the strongest elves in existence
>and some gay teen
Just read this manga today, it's actually pretty good, what the heck, I thought MC was a noisy brainless brat but he's actually alright
Sekre will be wearing a bulls uniform soon.
How does that no one care that Asta have literally no mana with is rather unique, no one wants to even check it? Seems like they all just laugh at him with is weird.
If you met a person born without any arms or legs, you probably wouldn’t question it and even laugh at him to his face or behind his back, depending on how big of an asshole you are.
he's not alone, it's just like a special needs person
I mean more like from the "scientists" point of view, like no one wants to even investigate why the only person in the whole world has no magic energy?
Sally does.
Probably because people are born with shit levels of mana and magical aptitude all the time, so somebody born with neither one isn’t too shocking. Only autists like Sally are interested enough to find out.
If Asta started a squad after this arc he would get Neige, Sally, Mariella, Nero and maybe some golden dawn refugees in his team.
Why would he start his own team?
So is she basically in halloween costume?
fuck noelle
Now you are speaking my lingo
More that Lumiere has an unusual taste in clothing for most people, and the dress was a gift from a good friend.
Best ship
Fuck Noelle (male)
I don’t really understand what I’m looking at here. Kirsch covering Dorothy’s face?
>Dad is Swords
>Mom is Wind
It's not hard to guess what it could be if it even happens.
He wont get a 2nd grimoires anyway.
Also
Alot of yunos personal spells are already wind blades anyway.
>It straight out said that there is 3 Royal Houses for the Kingdom of Clover.
At what point in time? We know there are 3 in the present (Vermillion, Clover and Silva), but was it always this way 500 years ago? They should be more numerous than that if they existed more than 500 years ago and each parent have 3~4 kids per generation.
But user, here made a good point: We indeed truly don't know which of the royals and nobles died during the raid.
>Alot of yunos personal spells are already wind blades anyway
That foreshadowing though
>A lot
It's literally just that one you posted as far as I know. But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
His obvious power up is of course a full dive form.
But I think it's not impossible that he'd try to mimic Licht's style and conjure some special wind sword that he could actually hold and use as a weapon.
>its literally just that one
Its literally not
Episode 83 - Burn It into You (Chapter 130)
Episode 84 - The Victors (Chapter 132)
Episode 85 - Naked Relationship
Episode 86 - Yami and Vangeance
FLASHBACK ARC!!
Probably expanding g upon that flash back yami had while waiting for "vangence"
That one is more "blades" than "swords". Swords are supposed to have a hilt (which is used to hold it, because a sword is supposed to be gripped and swung). You can't call whatever is at the bottom of those blades a hilt.
He also uses arrows, which are completely unrelated.
But since you said "a lot" I guess you have many more examples.
I love you.
idkreally but chapter one gave me goosebumps especially the clover explanation thing
If you recall my orriginal post I never specified "swords"
Yami will be taken over by the devil along with some others which will lead to another arc sometime.
His bow spell is a spirit magic spell.
And he only has 5 spells.
The big tornado
The small wind blades
That wind slash
Wind birb
And the big wind sword.
So 2 out 5 are actual blades
And 3 outta 5 are designed to cut.
Seems like a nice combo of wind and swords to me.
best twink
True. Pardon me for being a retards.
I should have said from the beginning that swords =/= blades, then.
It's really not the same shit. A sword has a blade, but not all blades are swords.
>a retard*
I need to stop hitting that 's' key so often.
Sure but it's still quite a close deviation.
Mercury is not water
The one in the OP. They're earning their captaincy
Yeah.
The flash back yami had when waiting .
Yeah that's what he said.
The power level is rising so he needs something more.
Maybe holy magic, the other knights need a powerup too if they want to compete.
I dont like the idea of just making every exceptions to the magic rules.
Welcome to the crew, enjoy your ridicule
Noelle's huge tits
milkers like a Hage cow
I started the anime, no tknowing there was a manga. Are they curently at a similar point in the story ? Is the manga worth reading at all ?
The manga is much, much better than the anime.
Read the manga. It’s 100 times better.
What are your favorite abilities/spells in BC? Yuno’s Bullet Time is probably the coolest for me.
Mercury is literally a metal, though.
Mercury magic is essentially just metal magic. Remember what Acier said about Nozel's magic "The only one who is like hers among her children".
The relationship between blades and swords is something else entirely. A sword is a weapon that incorporates a blade, but not "a blade" in itself. What makes a sword is the blade + the hilt. If you take a sword's blade and put it on a long stick, it becomes a lance /halberd, not a sword anymore.
Arrows, axes, katana, scythes, knifes, daggers and razors also have blades btw.
Tl;dr : the relationship between blades and swords are not that granted.
But more importantly, Yuno can do anything he fucking wants with his spells. That's the point of wind make. And he chose his spells based on purpose, not based on some sort of preferred style.
>Tornado = blow shit up.
>A bunch of tornados = blow more shit up.
>Manazone tornado = blow shit up from within.
>Tornado beam = fast long range shit blower.
>Manazone tornado beam = sneaky fast longe range shit blower.
>Tornado sphere = Protect shit.
>A bird = Flying, transporting and capturing.
>Wings = better mobility.
>Mirages = evasion bonus.
>A sword = to kill things.
>A bunch of blades = to kill more things.
>Arrows = to kill things faster.
It's never about just preference that you get your spells.
You think noelle just loves dragons or some shit?
You are right mercury is just metal.
But his mother had steel magic.
The father had water magic.
Since he didnt get water. And yes he did get a metal.
But he sure as fuck got the closest metal to a liquid.
>magic that just opens and closes things is useless
bitch, just crank the power to maximum and instaheal any wound, or rip people to shreds wit hit, folks are so unimaginitive
Elf fetus spirit will die after this arc. Yuno will power up by learning new spells and evolving spirit dive.
So will anime adapt the elves arc or is it going to end soon?
I heard it's only 100-something episodes
Plus physically wielding swords is Asta's thing. If Yuno did it too it would be like Vegeta using the kamehameha wave or Sasuke using rasengan.
TV Tokyo orders episodes in 51
So just like the first 51 they will just order fucking more.
102 will leave the anime in a cliffhanger. Contrary to what the Bleachfags at Twitter would love, BC isn't ending in 102.
>a top grossing TV Tokyo anime
>ending
The only threat to the BC anime was samurai 8 but the first chapter was shit
Ok, I got your point with the magic mixing.
But Yuno's magic is still essentially just wind magic, not wind blades or wind sword magic. Just wind magic.
And he has tons of spells. But half a handful are related to blades. And none of them are similar to Licht's known sword techniques, except Spirit dive (which isn't based on a wind sword).
>Do you think she likes dragon or some shit?
Spells are born from one's desires and do what the user truly desire in a given situation. So I actually do think she does in some way. But that's just my opinion.
Actually no spells are born from many things.
You just named one of them.
Others being diligence study and experience.
Your magic is an expression of self. You don't make it happen (except when you do), but it does line up that way regardless. Noelle is our Dragon, whether or not she sees herself as one.
>BC ending on the elf resurrection
This would be amazing. Everyone would have to buy the manga.
>Noelle is our Dragon
Sea Goddess next
It doesnt always have to be a 50/50 combo
Noelle clearly takes some from the mom but heavily leans on the father.
Yuno just leans way more on tetia
Where do you find the translated authors comments?
Based
>Others being diligence study and experience.
Based on what?
Literally all the spell birth that we witnessed are related to what the user wants.
>to what the user wants.
Not him but they don't get it right away. Only with the culmination of those 3 factors together with what the user wants at the time will the grimoire give a new spell.
>based on what
The manga litterally telling you.
Noelle has water magic, not water steel magic. Just like how Yuno has wind magic, and not Wind Sword magic. It's 100% about one of their parents in their case.
>B-But Valkyrie dress!
Mana type is canonically hereditary. But nothing of the sort was ever stated for spells.
Patri has sword light spells similar to the guys who killed the elves. But that doesn't mean he's related to them.
Both Gray and Julius have transformation spell, but that doesn't mean they're related either.
Spells were established to be more about the user's mental, not their bodies. Noelle wanted a melee spell that gave her concentrated offense and mobility. So that manifested into a mobility focused water suit.
Noelle also probably wanted to catch up to her mother ever since her talk with LionSis, hence the greater similarity between these spells.
The Japanese must really like these abrasively friendly and blindly impulsive characters, considering how popular the trope is among creators and consumers.
I never said it MEANS they are related.
But yuno having both wind and semblance of blade in his magic and 100 percent being confirmed for hosting the soul of the elf human hybrid.
I'm simply putting the pieces together.
Fujos love boys with control issues. The struggle to contain yourself is easily empathized with by women.
Ding ding ding
You hit the nail on the head.
That's why irl the nerdy girl always gets with the douche.
Part of their appeal is changing the guy's character for the better.
>diligence study and experience
>He thinks that has nothing to do with what the user wants.
I think the point literally got over your head.
Read the whole fucking chapter again, and all the instances of characters getting new spells, but slower and try to think hard about how it would be in practice. If you study hard about how to make a fireball, will your grimoire shit out a fire dog? It's always about what the user wants.
You probably think my point was the 3rd one mentioned in that page, but I said jack shit about it being a battle crisis.
Mimosa getting and offensive Spell or Finral getting a more aggressive spell had nothing to do with crisis. It was about them wanting to be more useful to someone.
>Only with the culmination of those 3 factors together with what the user wants at the time will the grimoire give a new spell.
Just like that guy above, I think you got the 3 factors mixed.
>I never said it MEANS they are related.
>semblance of blade in his magic
What's the point of the semblance of blade in his magic argument if it isn't to imply that it's somehow because they are related?
>Just like that guy above, I think you got the 3 factors mixed.
I don't know, Finral tried hard to get an offensive spell but only ended up with an applied version of his portals.
Because in this case it's already been confirmed and yuno certainly does have similar magic to tetia.
But characters like fanzel arent some secret love babies just because he has wind swords.
The semblance in there because of family ties
But the semblance its self doesnt MEAN family ties.
Gauche litterally got a spell because he though
"What if I use it on someone else"
I'm sorry man unless you can prove noelle wants dragons on any sort of page or even likes dragons for that matter. I'm inclined to dissagree.
Immediate Military application is everything user
>Finral tried hard to get an offensive spell but only ended up with an applied version of his portal
Because deep in his heart he didn't want to hurt anyone. It was literally spelled to us that Finral was a closet pacifist.
And your point is?
Not my problem. The dragon love is my opinion and I'm not forcing it on you.
But my point here is that she got the Sea Dragon Nest because she wanted a spell to transport her amigos in the water temple (which also had jack shit to do with a disaster btw). She got the Sea Dragon's roar because she wanted to rough up Vetto.
She got the dress because she wanted a melee spell.
Finral sure as fuck wanted a true offensive spell
>The semblance in there because of family ties
Wind magic is most likely there because family ties. It has been proven it was hereditary.
But Yuno conjuring blades is more about him wanting to cut people than family ties. Yes, because the best way to cut shit is using blades, not using a spoon.
Tl;dr : it's not a correlation, it's a coincidence.
But he did get one. It just doesn't hurt people.
No, I don't think Fallen Angel Flapping is offensive in the truest sense of the word. If that was the case then Finral's basic portal spells are offensive because he used it offensively vs Vetto and Fana.
Tabata is such a nice lad
I'm honestly glad Black Clover is one that sweet line where it's popular enough to get anime and games and be far away from axe but also not mega popular enough to get influx annoying fanboys. Sadly, that comes with having no porn.
>because he used it offensively vs Vetto and Fana.
The target of his portals during those battles weren't Vetto and Fana, it was Asta. So it was in all intent and purpose a support spell.
Fallen Angel's primary deal is to target the opponent, so it's not a support spell, it's meant to attack.
Finral wanted something offensive, he got it. But his desire to not hurt people is above any fancy "I want to cut People like Gabdain Yami!" that he might have one through, so it essentially came out as something that can't wound people.
And honestly, the fuckers who keep insisting that Finral really would be okay with maiming people with his own hands (figure of speech) need to re-read his character arcs.
>Gone* through
He litterally claims it's not an offensive spell
He said that because it doesn't do any damage. But it still targeted, chased, hit and eliminated a participant from the match.
Is that something a support spell is supposed to do?
