Why does the redrawn manga version have so much filler compared to the webcomic? It has literally taken years to adapt like a couple of chapters of the webcomic.

>inb4 it's not filler

Idk op why don’t you try drawing an insanely detailed manga while you have tons of other shit to draw for other projects and tell me how long it takes you

What I mean is that despite the redrawn manga having a page count that can range from 50 to 120 pages per chapter; between chapters 46 and 107 the redrawn manga only adapted about 10 chapters of the webcomic.

Probably so it doesn't get caught up to the webcomic as quickly? especially when it was on hiatus.

Because ONE rushed the webcomic so he’s fixing it.

because the editor didn't approve ?

I hope you realize that even after 100 chapters of the webcomic, barely 3 weeks have gone by in the manga.
off the top of my head estimate, saitama meeting genos + sea king is week one
saitama defeating boros is week two
saitama vs garou is week three or four

One is doing the writing you fag, I welcome the extra depth it has provided to previously unimpressive or under developed s class hero’s.

it's not filler

OP is just an impatient fag just because he already know what's going to happen.

Didn't approve what? You autist.
This is bullshit. The massive new hero headquarters construction and cleanup of the destroyed city as well as the formation and growth of the MA makes that impossible. Keep your retarded headcanon to yourself.

>inb4 it's not filler
Because it isn't you fucking retard. Every single new addition or change in the manga has been approved by ONE. They're fucking business partners, what the hell do you expect?

Metal knight rebuilt an entire city in a few days which would have normally took months. This is not head canon.

It needs to be redrawn very well to sell toys

Its that time again.

Just go ask ONE and Murata.

>why does the redrawn manga flesh everything out a ton and explore areas the webcomic didn't WHICH IS THE ENTIRE FUCKING POINT OF DOING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE rather then do the same thing the webcomic already did?????

Attached: hurf.jpg (850x519, 82K)

In the webcomic 83 days went by IIRC by the time the MA arc is over

>ONE see X plot point
>Ah yes thinking better, I should have done A and B in this part, we should add this and...

There you have it
The redrawn version is ONE revised version

The MA arc was very VERY rushed
It started with garou hunting heroes, then BAM, garou is kidnapped, heroes walk into the base then BAM, the base levelled, we got this giant sperm and water then garou again.

We didn't feel it because ONE is the god of pacing and good panelling

This. Why do so many fags have trouble understanding this basic fact, ONE is using the manga to expand and think about things he couldn't do/didn't think of the first time around. He's having fun with it too.

>Why am I such a huge fucking faggot?

I hate this fucking operator

because it's shit and boring

but its not? like i did re read the tournamet last week and it was actually pretty fun
early chapters do have better flow, but the manga its in a pretty good point right now, like last couple of chapter finally took enought momentum and things are flowing better now

The one fight that dragged the raid was emperor's fight. All the other ones were quick and were one or two chapters long.

because murata wants to draw an ordinary action series where he can show off with his art

Meh. I enjoy the manga version. You do you and I'll do me.

Good additions
>Metal Bat and Watch Dog Man stuff
>Garou vs the heroes at the shed

Bad additions
>Almost everything about the tournament besides the little conversation between King and Saitama after its over
>Garou's fights start to get really derivative
>Most fights are just curbstomp to reverse curbstomp. This is how a lot of ONE fights go but it's much less entertaining when there's such a high density of them mashed together.

Webcomic notes that it's been over two months.

Changing Busaiku to Tareo and giving him more screentime was also good.
The manga truly would be the ultimate version if all the bad filler was taken out.

it's not filler

I sincerely don't think ANY of the extra content in Murata's redraw is bad. I've loved the webcomic since the first translated pages were being posted here, and it still holds pretty damn well. ONE is a great storyteller and character creator, has a great sense of comedic timing and his paneling work is amazing.

But he's also SLOW. And sometimes he rushes shit like no tomorrow. I fucking love the extra fluff that he keeps adding with Murata, it fleshes out the characters and everything else.

More content = more money
Also the longer Murata takes the less effort ONE has to put in keeping the webcomic going.

yeah, the tournament is kinda bland. I'm not a big fan of how the conversation between Saitama and King literally spells out the whole point of the manga, but it's no big deal.

>Most fights are just curbstomp to reverse curbstomp. This is how a lot of ONE fights go but it's much less entertaining when there's such a high density of them mashed together.
It reminds me of Vegeta early in the Namek arc.

Only Saitama really reiterates the point of the manga. King just shit talked him how despite this he's never done anything different or to fix said issue.

>Good additions
>Metal Bat and Watch Dog Man stuff
>Garou vs the heroes at the shed
>Bad additions
>Almost everything about the tournament besides the little conversation between King and Saitama after its over

This is pretty much how I feel about the extensions made to the story. Along with added interaction between King and Saitama, including Tareo and Garou. If ONE just trimmed the Tournament section or just removed it entirely, I wouldn't have any issue with the new manga canon. Giving reasons why Metal Bat and MetalKnight weren't present during the Monster Association raid makes sense. However, I struggle to find any reason for the inclusion of the Tournament to the story. I'm kind of curious of ONE's writing process in regards to the manga content. I know he probably wanted to flesh out certain aspects of the story, but did he ever stop to think whether what he was adding in actually worked?
He probably always intended for the manga to be its own canon considering Chapter 20: Rumor was original to the adaption.

Also, this has been a pretty good discussion concerning the topic. A lot less "filler" shit-flinging and infighting between manga readers and webcomic purists.

The tournament arc was basically made to get Saitama out of the way of the invasion. Let's face it if he was there 90% of the guys would be gone.

It's not filler

There was no point though. No one lives in Z city, so the monsters wouldn't have invaded that town. Especially when they live right below. The only reason Saitama came out was because the HA made a ruckus attacking the monster base. No one even bothered telling him about it.

It would be if he was still in Z city. Once he got interested on Garou and martial arts he was outside the abondaned part of z city.

Go read Fairy Tail or some other brainlet shounen, then.

Because long boring shonenshit fights sell, just read this thread.
Good thing the webcomic is back though.

it only got worse like lesion the faggot with regenerating dot mines that are fucking invisible or zofia, the ash 2.0 with concussion grenades ontop of explosives and also self revive a better rifle a pistol with rails for sights and an lmg

>>inb4 it's not filler
It's not it is fluff, not entirely necessary but fun and cool. I bet you also hated extanded battle with Boros.

Filler makes money, people will eat shit and say it's good because muh story by ONE.

>MA arc was VERY rushed
>ONE is god of pacing
Based retard.

ONE has changed his style to be much slower paced since he started Mob and it shows in the manga adaption

The game is still full of bugs, how have they not fixed this shit yet?

>ubisoft
well there's your problem

because one is made for fun and the other is made for money

imagine living in such a tiny shithole

a house this size would cost $5000 in western countries

Attached: One-Punch Man v03 (2014) (Digital) (F) (BlackManta-Empire).cbr-One-Punch Man v3-209.jpg (2037x3056, 1.04M)

you mean 5 million

OP is a faggot.
ONE is actually in charge of the story and removes the filler if it exists.

Murata doesn't give a fuck about the editor. He does what he likes.

Attached: 60783103_p3.jpg (840x659, 77K)

>spaced punctuation
kys

They watched GoT and decided to imitate it because retards eat it up anyways

Murata's father died rip

It not that drag I mean in those chapters Murata just slow release and have to redraw some chapter. And those chapters have around 130 pages like other normal chapter.

Phoenix man is the one who gonna kill Orochi. Screencap this!

I hope it's black sperm honestly, maybe ENW can put his fire out

True though I felt too much focus was on emperor. But I get why they extended it due to the redrawing and scheduling plus Phoenixman having a bigger role than his webcomic counterpart. Also One said he had scheduling issues right around the time of that arc.

Attached: 74354322_p3.jpg (1240x1753, 1.5M)

The cynic in me says ONE just half-assedly greenlighted something because they wanted to keep publishing OPM at the same rate (consistency is extremely important if you want to keep readers) but didn't want to catch up to the webcomic while ONE was working on other stuff. I see no other reason why such mediocre stuff takes place for no reason

So is Yea Forums refusing banning phoneposters because it's actually a cia honeypot?

>kys
Kill yourself.

honestly, even if it's filler I don't care
the more murata draws the better

I reread the fight the other day and I'm totally good with it, none of the parts are bad to remove them.

Compared to some Baki fight it's a baby's first not too short fight.

Its not bad its just many people weren't interested in Emperor. I moslty was interested in the fight to see how far Phoenixman could go because he turned into a literal Saint seiya villian and it was great. Now the other fights I thought we're great except the disciples vs long hair. Otherwise most of the stuff added isn't really bad. Even if it was filler that doesn't mean its automatically bad. For some reason everyone hates filler automatically when its mentioned.

Emperor was good for the job since he had LOTS of different weapons.

Because the extra fights and character expansion from ONE is great.

Attached: R52.jpg (1600x1138, 753K)

but muh robots with no personality.

Series 2 was doomed from the start, I've caught up with the manga because of the comparison images and it's a complete mess, switching from a 1 panel fight to another nobody monsters up until the Saitama vs Suiryu Fight then it gets really good

Attached: 1555772271715.png (651x960, 617K)

it's ok the fillers are kino as well

Attached: 5caf461e969ac11494d3c495d0772646c74faca442635e565eeb6cf5.jpg (1600x1119, 915K)

>switching from a 1 panel fight to another nobody monsters

Fag. The way they were switching from one tournament fight to Genos fighting monsters was great. If you didn't notice there were clear parallels between each sides, with Genos' being very similar to the tournament but at a way higher level.

He basically is the second Metal Knight for the association when Metal knight fucks off to do his own things. Plus dude wasn't going to a trap.

Sorry but I like that fight Phoenix Man was entertaining to watch.

>cost $5000
You don't live in a western country.

it really depends on where that apartment is
I could believe $5000 a month for that apartment in San Fransisco or New York City

Mostly agree with the cons, although I really enjoyed Suiryu as a character and his arc. And ONE really had us going with Gouketsu for a second there. Also Suiryu vs Choze was pretty fucking sweet.

Garou's fights have been extremely repetitive and besides the fights directly based on the webcomic, which are spectacular, only the A hero fight was genuinely interesting cause we saw Garou pushed to his limits while already hinting of Garou's ambitions of heroism hidden by his monster "ideology".

>godly appearance
>some bug inside the suit causes him to die
all that buildup for nothing sasuga ONE

>Generic power house fight from a hero that supposedly fights strategically and exploiting monster's weakness

>Fight ends with Emperor winning the fight strategically and exploiting Phoenixman's weakness

Literally the only good part of that bloated fucking fight. At least it ended on a strong note.

That's fine. I even said I was entertained due to Phoenixman. He's the best part of the fight. The only thing was pacing and I mentioned most others didn't care for emperor. I'm indifferent to him really.

Saw it, he will probably take a week off(Kishimoto did the same in 2014 when his father passed away), so no chapter until the 24th imo.
