I think that after the timeskip, AoT is now one of the best manga ever, and the entire pre-timeskip is just a big ass prologo to the main story.

I thought the first half of death note was pretty bad and ended up dropping it at episode 9. Recently my friends and I have been getting plastered and watching trash anime (Kings game/big order/cross Ange/ghost stories dub) while memeing the shit out of it. Do you think the second half of death note deserves that treatment?

Kimi no na wa is garbage and extremely overrated. It's like koe no katachi but miles worse, and knk isn't even a great anime.

i've only read the manga, so i can't really say. from all accounts, though, the anime as a whole is pretty hammy so it might be worth a shot.

The Free! anime has a few gay moments, but overall it's a really good show

SAO is pretty good in terms of world building and I remember the scene of Kirito getting stabbed in a parking lot while he was going to save Asuna and I saw that on Christmas Eve late at night many years ago and it was snowing just like how it was there and I’m a big fan of aesthetics so maybe I’m just remembering it being better than it was but maybe not.
