I haven't even watched the originals but these reboots are head and shoulders above all the other shit that is being produced this year. I'm starting to think the downward trends in anime quality we are witnessing are not so much a result of adaption practices but rather the quality of the source material itself that is being adapted nowadays.
Dororo even started out okay, but in its case it's new adaptation is such a low quality production that the strength of the source material is irrelevant.
