Like seriously, Tappei could have done so much more with Emilia.
She has the cloak of unrecognizablity right? She could have worn that to go people watch in town and then reenact what the people did not understanding what they were doing with Subaru because she’s so socially starved and socially undeveloped. For instance she watched a couple share an ice cream or shake or whatever, some of it was on the girls cheek and the boy licked it off. She didn’t understand that normally people don’t do that but she put some ice cream on her cheek and tries to get Subaru to lick it off for the rest of the day. Well try by leaning forward towards him and closing her eyes, Subaru would stand there confused not knowing what’s going on.
He could have made Emilia a bit more pushy too, like she stalked a couple that was on a date and got jealous/envious of them and then went home and demanded that Subaru takes her on a date exactly like the one she followed. I think that would have been cute and be slightly in character as she got jealous of all the head pats that he gave to Rem.

So far the Isekai’s I’ve watched and loved were Goblin Slayer and How NOT To Summon A Demon Lord. I dropped That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime for now because it’s just weird how the blue slime was a boy and turned to take the form of a long blue haired girly looking figure. Can’t get into it and so far it’s been meh, just average.
So next should I watch The Rising Shield Hero or Re:Zero? I’m leaning towards Zero because it looks like it has top tier wives (long silver hair girl, blue hair girl, blond short lolita loli, etc.)
