Masterpieces need all their aspects to be great. It was extremely pretty but the focus on making visuals nice made it so they couldn't go as far with other aspects of visual storytelling, the plot isn't the strongest, and I felt the voice acting was a little off. Everything else was great though

Many people felt like the 2nd season shifted focus away from what they liked. A lot of people felt like they got yuribaited, or didn't like the sidelining of a couple characters from season 1. It has a bit more drama to it as well, which is a turnoff for some.
Honestly, the beginning of season 2 was a step down. After the first arc of the second season concluded, I think it picked up. I though the ending was better than season 1. I believe Iam in the minority on this though. It's certainly not worse than fucking Clannad though.
People on Yea Forums keep parroting what they hear here all the time. The first arc of the second season was kinda dumb but the rest is easily on par with stuff from first season, if not even better.
If you put kanon on B, I can respect your taste.
