He will probably stay dead. Beyond the fact they have no reason to keep him alive, Eden's Zero has been much darker that Fairy Tail. We already had 90% of the population of a planet killed, some pretty horrible backstories and the previous arc had some gruesome deaths.

rave master was one of my first shonens that i stayed through the end and i loved it. i still love it, even though i feel like its nostalgia speaking. will i like edens zero? i also havent read fairy tail. has he improved in character progression or storyline? from the looks, his artstyle (even though it changed through rave master) its still kind of the same.

Mashima didn't have enough creative freedom with FT. Chances are you'll like the beginning but hate the ending. It seems he has a lot more here but it's still to early to tell. Seems like a major Arc is about to start soon so now might be a good time to pick this up and decide for yourself.

I thought I was going to dislike Drakken Joe but he actually seems pretty cool. He's not a moron, he'd rather get money than kill people pointlessly and he doesn't put up with his flunkies fucking up. He's honestly a bit of a refreshing villain after most of the ones in Fairy Tail.

She's cute because Mashima basically took the best aspects of Erza and upped the autismo. I also like her fighting style more than Erza so far.

I think he's more pissed that Spider used his name before being defeated, since that makes him look bad for his business. If Spider didn't lead Eden's Zero on with Drakken Joe's name he might have gotten off alive.

FT is ok up until the Tenroujima arc. Post first time skip is still decent but it get worse during Tartaros arc. It then goes down the drain pretty fast. Alvarez arc is truly the worst arc. Rave Master is still Mashima's best work.

Honestly most of the FT ladies didn't really do much for me, only one I can think of that I liked was probably Seilah
