Yu Yu Hakusho is better than Hunter x Hunter.
One Punch Man is better than Mob Psycho.
Yusuke is a much more likable character than Gon.
Saitama is a much more likable character than Mob.

In what sense is OPM better than mob psycho? the shows have barely anything in common and are incomparable apart from subjective enjoyment.
I thought HxH and Mob Psycho had better storytelling and characters than YYH and OPM, but hey.
I agree.
YYH is better but hxh is still great.
don't watch opm and don't care besides fapping to fubuki doujins.
yusuke is the best shonen protoganist and no one else even comes close.
again, i don't care about one punch man.
>In what sense is OPM better than mob psycho?
More interesting dialogues, Saitama is a more relatable character, Mob is soulless. One Punch Man is more "complete" because it has everything. It's extremely funny but yet very emotional and deep in a subtle way.
> the shows have barely anything in common
Same author, dummy.
You're right about Yusuke. Gon is pretty boring.
Story wise I also prefer YYH but I have only seen part of the 1999 HxH series, and everyone says that the 2011 one has better arcs so my opinion is lacking.
I prefer Mob to Saitama, mostly because his struggle to grow and become emotionally mature is played straight which makes him more likeable, while the tone of OPM is all over the place and although it is very entertaining it ends being not particulary involving.
Story wise they are so different that it is not useful nor fair to compare.
Mob is a lame middle schooler
>I prefer Mob to Saitama, mostly because his struggle to grow and become emotionally mature is played straight which makes him more likeable,
Well, maybe because he's LITERALLY growing as the show goes by? He's a kid after all.
Yes and?
In OPM it probably would be played as a joke, but MP100 treats it seriously while staying light-hearted overall in the rest of the show.
Idk I have still to watch OPM 2, so maybe there have been developments in the characterization of Saitama, but in season one he only came off as a joke character. People throw around the fact that he is depressed a lot, and while I get the fact that he lacks purpose and motivation he still is played in a not serious at all way, which makes it hard to resonate.
Hence why I end up liking Mob more.
Yikes.
Dark tournament is better than HxH, but the rest of YYH ranges from merely ok to trash.
Both Mob and OPM are absolute shounen garbage pretending to be something more. HxH's quality is inconsistent as hell. Yu Yu is consistent but average.
>watch OPM 2
Just stick to to webcomic and read the manga afterwards if you're interested in seeing fights and redrawn and alternate scenarios.
>Yu Yu Hakusho
>The series with both the single greatest tournament arc and single worst tournament arc in any shonen
>consistent
Agreed, but only if you're talking about the webcomic
/thread
BASED
Agree about YYH.
OPM and Mob are more complicated because OPM's biggest problem is that it doesn't get nearly the same about of love as Mob.
>Mob was ONE's main project and has had much more effort put in, even to the point of completion
>OPM is just his side gig that he doesn't seem to care too much about
>Mob gets great studio for S2
>OPM gets fucking garbage-tier studio for S2
This is Saitama's wife. Say something nice about her.
Yes

No
>YYH

lol
Very good post user. I agree with you. I couldn't finish Mob s1, it's just Le No GF NEET Is Literally Me Show
MP100 season 1 intro a best though
YYH it's fucking lame
i don't understand what do you like about it
>OPM is just his side gig that he doesn't seem to care too much about
Based off of what? Mob is completed because there is nothing else left to be explored in the story. Mob's character arc was over and Mob's character was basically the whole plot, resulting in a much shorter series. OPM has a bigger world with lore regarding monsters, Hero organizations and factions, cities etc. There is also the fact the Mob was serialized and the OPM webcomic isn't ONE released Mob chapters under a schedule, he could update OPM whenever he wants.
Reading the newer webcomic releses, there is still a lot of love being put in the series. I don't get the impression that ONE is continuing the series reluctantly
>More interesting dialogues
is this bait? most conversations are simple and short and revolve around "reactions" for a monster or something that happened, there's barely any real dialogues at all.
>Saitama is a more relatable character
Saitamas thing: so talented he does not enjoy it, also he is laid back about serious things and cares alot about small daily things like sales, nicknames etc. He is not a relatable character at all, he is a character in a comedy and his traits exist only to ridicule the surrounding characters, he never grows or changes at all during the entire show and the manga (up to the point i got to).
Mob on the other hand is also "OP" which is the only relation to OPM, but mob is a kind hearted hard working character, who tries his best to become a better person, and throughout the show he encounters many different people and through his interaction with them he learns something about himself and does in fact, grow as a person and as a character.
>Mob is soulless
factually wrong
>One Punch Man is more "complete"
its a comedy ofc its "complete" its bar is set so low... all it has to do as a show is be funny.
>It's extremely funny
Agreed
>very emotional and deep in a subtle way.
There's nothing emotional about this show, and when there is something its usually a setup for a punchline. and nothing about this show is subtle.
>Same author, dummy.
no shit sherlock, im comparing the shows themselves, and im saying they are not worth comparing because one is an exploration of a character and the other is a literal gag show.
your sister is better
dont show that to twitter
