ITT genuinely sympathetic bad guys
For me it's Kefka – intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.
>murdered thousands of people for no reason
He needs to have a motivation for me to sympathize, you fucking brainlet
What the fuck was his plan?
>sympathetic
>lol I forgot why I made SAO
BASED
Fuck off Zeek scum.
>But why did you murder thousands of innocent people Kayaba?
>Lol I don't know but it made for some pretty good RP didn't it?
>Tfw Bitchtits the witch Fucks up Lodoss AGAIN GODDAMNIT.
Fucking Karla
t. incompetent pilot
You know, I don't understand if you guys are being ironic. It's not really hard to grasp.
Kayaba wanted to make the isekai fantasy true. He wanted everyone to live in his JRPG world. He wanted to give all the PCs a chance to be swordsmen in his autistically detailed Neverwinter Nights campaign, and he wanted them to live and die inside something as true to life as possible.
Basically, he was a giant chuuni who wanted to share his vision with everyone else. More, this is accomplished by the time of Alicization. Sure, he fucking killed two thousand people, but he wasn't deliberately trying to kill them, it's just that death happens when you're stuck playing hardcore Dark Souls.

>T. Genocidal maniac who doesn't even uphold his own ideology.
I love SAO, but I can't sympathize with Heathcliff's crappy plan.
I can't think of a an SAO villain I like at all.
>Heathcliff: "Lol, I forgot what my original plan was..."
>The Pedo: "I was promised coma pussy."
>Desu Gun: "I want to more sword art, so ima sneak into people's homes commit homocide."
>Aids: "What kind of doctor fucks up that bad?"
>Phito: "I also want more sword art, maybe I should have worked with Death Gun and used my influence and money to cover both our asses..."
>Eiji: "My girl died in sao and was forgotten. I'm gonna mind wipe everyone of their past to help her dad make an AI of her."
>Professor Shigemura: "My daugher died in SAO because I wanted to make her happy. So now I will use a vulnerable teenager to go mind wipe people so I can build an AI idol of her."
These are actual good motivations.
>The two rapist that Kirito Gatted: "We are royal and don't think you two should get any pussy"
>All the Integrity Knights: "Despite having trained for many years and being gifted awesome powers, we do nothing and got our asses handed two us by two sworddie bois in the span of a few horus. There is no way we would have won against a dark army."
Literally, the only sympathetic SAO baddies is Eiji and the professor. They do Eiji so dirty because we can't have any alphas challenging Kirito...
>"I want everyone else to experience (and dying) living in a fantasy world with me while their real world bodies wither away but desu, I forgot why I wanted that in the first place..."
>I can't think of a an SAO villain I like at all.
...
I don't like her because her portrayal is sexist and caters to male fantasies
>I'm hot and want to be hot forever no matter who gets in my way.
Okay, you got me there.
The only "Good" bad guy
>I don't like her because her portrayal is sexist and caters to male fantasies
>No officer I wasn't trying to kill those people I kidnapped. They only fell into that pit of burning snakes because they weren't bad enough to be America's Top Ninja Warrior.
It's debateable if he even is a bad guy
This
In the end he was right
Suicide attempts, not suicides. Probably self-reported too.
>Uhm yeah, I am like, so depressed, I attempted suicide once.
thats legitimately dumb as fuck and a bad villain.
I was under the impressions most suicide attempts ended in success since you would have to be extremely incompetent to fuck something as simple as killing yourself up and obviously people who are talked down from doing it don't count in the statistics since they stop before they actually attempt the suicide.
It's dumb as fuck, but that IS his plan.
You say that, but I bet I can find a hundred thousand people who would sign up in a heartbeat.
This but unironically. The scoobies never actually have an answer to his point, they just call him Incel and beat him up.
Why did so many people die? Surely the majority of people would have stayed in safe areas and those that were clearing levels would only do so when they were absolutely confident they were properly min-maxed. Sure there are retards who'd get themselves killed, maybe a few PKers and sometimes a bossfight will go tits up but thousands of deaths seems too high.
Also why not just convince the people inside that death is real? Wouldn't that achieve the same effect?
He was only ever concerned about his own comfort. It didn't matter who suffered, so long as he got to preserve his quiet life and act out on his autistic hand fetish.
He deserved what he got and worse. No sympathy for those who don't give any.
i'd have to watch the first episode again, but i'm pretty sure you weren't able to leave the game right from the beginning, even before the announcement that 'death is real'. So a lot of people may have bought the game, logged in, and then died in the tutorial while testing out the controls, without knowing that they would actually die.. which is kind of sad..
Part 4's plot only happened because fatty couldn't tell the difference between his sandwich bag and a sandwich bag that was 10 feet away from him
>something as simple as killing yourself up
Then why are you still here?
Unironically, I wish Shigechi lived. He made a mistake and now his poor parents have to mourn the loss of their beloved son.
Watching that face swapping weasel squirm was one of the most satisfying parts of JoJo for me.
I came here to post this.
You can't honestly believe what you just posted.
>I was under the impressions most suicide attempts ended in success since you would have to be extremely incompetent to fuck something as simple as killing yourself up
You're under a false impression.

Not even close.
Why do people not realize they weren't beating him up because he was necessarily wrong but because he killed a bunch of people
>he killed a bunch of people
those people deserved it tho
prime post
>I imprisoned and killed a bunch of people because I was bored and wanted people to roleplay with.
How sympathetic and well written.
>he doesn't play mmos
yes he is
Most people who attempt suicide either:
>Are just trying to get attention and someone stops them or gets them help before they actually die.
>Pussy out halfway through.
>Try some stupid method they don't know enough about and fail to actually die because they fucked it up.
>Shit Art Online

Good villain
I think I don't need to explain why he is sympathetic
Anyone who has played P4 and thinks this unironically should seriously reconsider his outlook on life
k
I think it's a bad sign that i know only sao one in this whole thread...
"Forgive me, my dearest Derris Kharlan"
This. He was pretty much a hypocritical childish cunt. He wanted a quiet life with nobody disturbing him, and yet he disturbed lives of many innocent people and unironically wondered why the Duwang Gang wanted him dead.
