That's annoying. I'm doing 15 and I've stupidly drawn over a character 11 times even through some are basically identical and the result looks like shit. I fucked with the order and I could get a way better result and only have to draw the other character 7 times but that would make the animation 21 frames long.
This is one of my favourites, very pretty. The bag will be a little hard to add on,it's looking great already. Cute

If you mean normal anime subbing then yeah we did it all the time back in the day as small user groups, especially for less popular shows or OVAs, like how we translate manga these days, it's just that fansubbing in general has been phased out due to the existence of fast simulcast subs. Hell, the majority of big sub groups on nyaa were made of Yea Forums users.
