I never really took that deadline to mean "this has to be settled on the last chapter of the volume" the way it's being paced would make it kind of weird to build this hospital conversation up but then not fully resolve it there.

I guess what I see happening is their talk settling the Ice plot in 1-2 chapters, switch to Miko and Ishigami for Tsubame's party, and then Shirogane and Kaguya on a christmas date for the end of volume.

I can see atleast 2 more chapters of build up between Prez and Kaguya and then kiss.
