I'm for you I guess? I don't really care what people think about anime. If they can't take it then what's the point of trying to get them into it? None in my opinion. If they can't pass the entry barrier of shamelessly degenerate stuff then they can watch what they prefer to watch instead.

The fanservice serves a narrative purpose in establishing an attraction and characterizing our lead/perspective character. It's also a really clever bit of directing that helps guide interest and comprehension of the coming sequence. Also fanservice isn't inherently a bad thing. So lots of ways really.

In episode 2, Sejo walking around naked is not a fan service scene and is actually clever. Going into it we expect it is fanservice, even Senjo poking fun that is but she has a hard time wearing clothes cuz they are too heavy. Its the only subversion of a fanservice scene i can think of off the top of my head done in a clever way.

As if fanservice immediately makes things shit. While there are times the fanservice takes up a lot of time (e.g. shed scene from Kizu 3 which is unanimously considered shit), a lot of the fanservicey moments are either quick or pretty entertaining. It mostly gets in the way of the story in Nise, but it's far more tolerable in other arcs.

Stop pretending like the fanservice is all this show fucking has.
