I'm a 31 year old man and I enjoy Air Gear more than I did back when I was 17. I used to be overly critic of it back then, but now I genuinely enjoy it as fine piece of entertainment and how unique it is if compared to other series from that time.

I loved Air Gear but you're right. Saying that I'm trying to remember exactly where it shat itself, the Behemoth arc was great for me even if it got into power creep territory. HnK's story is great you fucking pleb. Dragon Ball also had great story until Vegeta appeared and then it became very hit-or-miss. I'm not sure it was ever art porn though. If you want a Jump series from that era that was legitimately art porn and garbage story then it would be Saint Seiya.
