Nazarick is fun to watch but is a fucking powder keg. PDL also worked with Players in the past and all that Ainz has in stock for me are resurrection experiments and robbery. I go as archerdine class to spam smite on Ainz skull from beyond the horizon.
Top tier races are dragons, undead, giants and angels, random monsters being strong count too. Maybe insect nation numbering in the trillions but no one would write a nation like that since it’s too much trouble. Sea nations and monsters should be strong too but are limited to the sea obviously. Other planes like the abyss would be cool too. Eldritch monsters should be a thing too since you can pick them as racials. Raid bosses could be around but probably nothing in the 90+ range.

Plus, magic in the setting uses mana so I'd doubt that there's spell slot restrictions even if magic is still organized into tiers.

Also remember this takes place 200 years ago from OG timeframe. During this time I’m sure Demon Kings or 13 Heroes killed off most of them before their disasterous battle with the God Dragon.

Dwarf is one of the better volumes to begin with. Overlord is at its best when it's about Ainz going on adventures as a skeleton, not Dark Warrior Momon, or peasant shit for hundreds of aimlessly meandering pages. Disagree. Overlord is at it's best when it's workplace comedy or social commentary. The dragon family dynamics around the hikki son was pretty inspired writing as was Ainz sucking up to the runesmith in typical salaryman fasion. The actual adventuring part of that volume pretty bland. There were no stakes at all. That's a bit of an issue with the sidestory as wel there's little to no conflict or adversity so it's hard to be invested in it as a sheer adventure-action story. And the Keno-Ainz dynamics have been closer to staple pedo wish fulfilment than an actual relationship between two awkward geeks.

It's at its best when it's a comedy. But the way it creates stakes in the varing conflicts is by introducing different points of view, often on opposing sides and having them struggle. Oftentimes even though they'll get walked over their struggle will not be entirely meaningless.
And though they might not end up on top in technical sense when Ainz presses the "I win"-button. They'll often seem more virtuous to the reader then the story's weak willed and ignorant main character.
