Compare Shippuden to any other long running anime ever produced. There is nothing that comes close. The show might have looked mediocre during transition episodes but when it mattered, it reached movie quality as far as animation is concerned. Visual directing was always up there. Pierrot brought in some incredibly talented people to work on the show and they did so consistently for over 10 years. Given how shit every other long running anime looks (even OVAs like Legend of the Galactic Heroes), Naruto was a monumental accomplishment from start to finish.

>he made a second thread

Too bad the writing was shit

>compare shit to other shit and it is a lot shiner, it is truly an accomplishment in shit production

>Climax was well animated
Well it is kinda a must for long runnings. Even One Piece has does. Sad that the other 98% is animated like crap

it's also better than 99% of seasonal garbage.

What's with the brainlets on this board? Not even OP but Naruto's visual direction and animation are incredible.

I get that these threads are partially shitpost bait, but having watched a reasonable amount of Shippuden and HxH 2011, I against all my expectations have to conclude that Shippuden... is kind of better directed? I mean, not consistently, but HxH's high points are pretty underwhelming by comparison because there's no strong vision behind the adaptation. The funny thing is that Shippuden's good episodes are reminiscent of HxH 1999. You may now resume normal posting.

>compare shit to other shit and it is a lot shiner, it is truly an accomplishment in shit production

>500 episodes
>mostly filler and flashbacks
