Raw eggs on rice is inherently gross, why do they show it as if it ambrosia?

OP is inherently a faggot

the hot rice cooks the egg, tendiesboi

That's not how it works

Is the rice fucking boiling?

It tastes good, you should try it. You can start with sunny side up if you are deathly afraid of the raw egg, but make sure the yolk is runny.

Yes

I bet you're from a 3rd world country that doesn't have salmonella-safe eggs (US is a 3rd world country too btw)

Go away ESLfag

Don't knock it until you've tried it, but I'd advise making sure that you buy eggs that are safe for consumption when raw (which is the case for all eggs sold in Japan). Adding onions sauce is a pretty important step as well. If you don't like runny yolks then you probably won't like this though.

So is raw egg on pasta, yet nobody bats an eye at carbonara.

Does he want to die?

I'd forgotten about that word filter.

It's just a meme Japanese dish. You're basically eating sauce with rice and pretending it's good.

It'd better than just dumping s o y sauce on rice since the raw egg gives it a better texture.

I'm not into the whites, but raw yolk on hot rice is fucking quality.

>Yea Forums worse than /ck/
Can't say I'm surprised.

That's because we don't know what the fuck that is. Everyone knows rice

I've never had the egg thing but rice with sauce is pretty damn tasty when you don't have much else.
t. poorfag

it's safe because the food in japan is actually clean

With all due respect, carbonara is on another level entirely compared to tamago gohan.

why would it need to be boiling u dumb shit

It’s not bad but I don’t prefer it. You really need to shoyu though or else you just have goopy rice. If im going to put anything like that in my rice I’d rather put natto and mustard

>white rice
>egg
>natto
>green onion
>söy sauce
I'm thinking it's based

I'm about to make this right now since basically all I have in my house are rice, eggs, onions, and condiments.
What onion sauce is this? Recipes say to use butter, onions, and chicken stock as a base for it, but I'm not sure this is japanese.

You can replace onion sauce with onions sauce.

>be japanese
>eat raw shit
>get japanese cold
>die
