This literally means it's a bad adaptation. Good adaptation would adjust the pacing instead of "stretching" the chapters out.
I was kinda annoyed at the lack of actual Koto playing and them not using Kudo's Solo, but it was partially redeemed by the final part of the song. Hoping they have the full performance on the OST or something (if they even release one)

The performance was good but they could've had the flashbacks before, that way it would flow better. Also, they don't need that many assholes, sure there's assholes everywhere but it seems everyone in the fucking school doesn't give a fuck or genuinely hates them, come on man, at times feels jarring. This could be a manga thing, an adaptation can't do anything if they're being really faithful to the source.
Best boy solo was the highlight, I wish they would've shown his gramps back in the audience next to the principal, he was playing for him after all.
