There are a few differences between the novel and the anime. Any parts of the novel in particular that you guys wished appeared in the anime (or vice versa, if that works?)

I think they've been making pretty good choices in terms of what content to leave in the novels. I did sort of like the way the main three were all introduced with respect to their relationship to rules though, that was a nice touch.

Only thing I wish was left in the anime was in episode 3, when Toi chases those soccer players off. In the novel, it reveals that he actually beat them up and was lying when he said he didn't. Toi fighting them for Enta makes him appear more protective and hotter.

Ch1 of the novel actually has narrative lines where Toi gets distracted by Sara(Kazuki) when he's trying to stop him from taking pics, so I wish they had made those bits more obvious like the soba sususu scene.
That made the novel seem like it was opening up into a boy-meets-girl(boy) setup, which felt different from how I viewed the first episode of the anime.

I also thought of the rules bit like said. Might be interesting to see how those change/don't change, and if they'll even bring it up again.
Side note: personally I'd say Toi's is more like "carefully but daringly".

As much as everyone likes cuck memery, including Ikuhara, when I was reading the novel the first impression I got from Reo accusing Mabu of doing maintenance because it feels good was that I was he was goading Mabu into giving him some sort of emotional reaction. To be more specific, they also made speculations that the three of them used to be a Golden Trio (with Toi and Kazuki playing soccer together before Enta joins) but Enta wanted Kazuki all to himself and become a Golden Combi, and used the plate that way.

Also probably worth noting that in the post-epilogue Mabu explicitly says the line “Don’t let go. Desire is your life.”

Have to wait until it's completed, but I liked Penguindrum from beginning to end. With this I'm just confused and not really attached to any characters yet.

MPD use less recycled scenes and had way more time to explore each character. Also, MPD soundtrack is way better than Sarazanmai
