Princess Tutu

Has anyone mentioned the fact that Duck is constantly trying to steal Rue's boyfriend, yet she claims to be "friends" with Rue. Imagine if you had a "friend" who acts nice to you in person, but whenever they're alone with your significant other they're trying to sleep with them.

Except for the fact that she treats Mytho like an unattainable crush and doesn't even expect his affection in return, even if she likes to dream about it sometimes its almost like someone's manipulating her into being obsessed with him

Duck literally did nothing wrong.

pretty much this.

Yes she did. But not being perfect is what made her beautiful, the earnest sincerity and will to continue trying against insurmountable odds. It was her humbled, flawed nature that helped break the cycle of the story.

She was constantly trying to get dicked-down by Mytho who is her friend's boyfriend. Rue liked Mytho the way he was, but that slutty Ducky kept trying to change Mytho's feelings. She even forced scary feelings on him in order to further change his love interest. I just think if a male protagonist did skanky shit like this to his friend's girlfriend we would all hate him for it. Duck is a thot.

youtube.com/watch?v=Xo3ymDo06kI

>doesn't even expect his affection in return
Did we watch the same series? She has pondered what Mytho thought about him. One of the major plot ideas of the final episode was does Mytho like her in her normal girl form or Princess Tutu.

What kind of newfag nigger calls Duck a thot? Kill yourself

So I've been watching that one AMV that people keep posting from this show and there's one part where Krahe is dancing or something with Mytho and then giant wings appear behind her. Does anyone know what episode that's from?

youtube.com/watch?v=tHZqxecCukg

It's about 1:11 into the video.

From what I recall, Mytho's lack of feelings makes them not a couple at all, more like a puppet. And Rue seems to be just manipulating the situation due to her memories.

Is something happening with the series or writer? I’ve seen more anons talking about Princess Tutu recently than I have in a long, long time

Duck and Princess Tutu was at one point one if the most unifying shows on Yea Forums. I hate to see new anons act disrespectful towards Duck. This place has changed.

You, like the many cuckholds on Yea Forums who came before you, never realized the fact that Duck was the true crow of the story. Just imagine you were Rue in real life. Now imagine you had a "friend" like Duck who was trying to change your man's feelings behind your back. When she sees you in person she hides behind a fake smile, but knows how much she is fucking you over behind your back. Every person who has ever had a significant other cheat on them will cringe when they see the slutty tactics used by Duck. She is also very physical with Mytho. She has caressed and cuddled with Mytho's body on several occasions. I would never do such a thing to a friend's significant other (unless I was a THOT who was trying to fuck my friend's significant other).

>Every person who has ever had a significant other cheat on them
So basically youre emotionally damaged and taking it out on Duck? Maybe if you weren't such a faggot that wouldn't have happened.

I just watched season 1 and loved it, but I'm having mixed feelings about season 2. I'm currently on episode 4 of season 2. I'm already getting the feeling that it should have ended after the first season. Something seems a bit contrived about the plot, but I guess that is the nature of magical girl shows. The crow girl just seems desperate and annoying now, whereas in the first season I felt somewhat sympathetic for her. What do others think about season 2?

It beginning of it was def a bit weak but it gets better. Plus when Mussorgsky’s piece The Great Gate of Kiev kicks in it makes it all worth it

The creator and the main writer are still working. On very different stuff.

>So basically youre emotionally damaged and taking it out on Duck? Maybe if you weren't such a faggot that wouldn't have happened.
It wouldn't have happened if there weren't people like Duck in real life. Me and my ex were playing various games on steam. One day we added a guy. This guy would play with me in various games calling me a friend and clan leader. All the while he was "slipping into my girl's DMs" as the hipster kids say these days. It's no different from what Duck did in all of season 1. She knew Mytho was taken, yet kept trying to change him. Mytho was living carefree. Duck gave him nothing but bad feelings such as pain, fear, and doubt. She created a problem within him, then offered herself (in the form of princess tutu), as the solution to his newly found problems. Inventing problems is what the mob used to do to extort money. That gangster, thot Duck.

I didn't feel that way about season 2. It probably could have done with less episodes but there's some really great stuff in season 2 and beating Krahe doesn't end the story. If it had ended there there would have been a lot of stuff still left unsolved.

Jesus fuck off with the blog newfag

Rue did nothing wrong. She was content with loving Mytho until that slutty ducky got involved. In the story the prince gives up his heart to stop the crow. Based on the laws of equivalent exchange he belongs to the crow.

>All the while he was "slipping into my girl's DMs"
That's is honestly hilarious. Basically you're a cuck, and you like the girl who is getting cucked. Fucking pottery

Can the Duckfags at least admit that they would be disgusted by someone like Duck who actively tries to steal another person's love interest? Isn't there a word to describe that behavior and isn't that word slut?

Princess Tutu is a plot about NTR.

Can you admit that you didn't watch the first few episodes?

Meant to say pic related was his response when asked if he loved Rue. It's just puppy love and not something as serious as an NTR doujin.

But I guess getting NTR'd in real life can mess with a man.

>dubfag
>cuck
Poetry in motion

She was never doing what she did to make mytho date her. She loved him, but she knew he was already taken and completely unattainable.

Hell she even mentions a lot how cute of a couple Rue and Mytho are. The only time she actually competes with Rue is when Rue is planning to put Mytho into an eternal coma, and even when she wins she still doesn’t expect Mytho to date her.

Duck is not an idiot. She knew exactly what she was doing. The more feelings she gave to Mytho the more he liked her and the less he liked Rue. She even forced a feeling of fear onto him against his wishes all so she could obtain her goal. Did she ever say to herself, "I should stop making Mytho like me because if Mytho breaks up with Rue she will be single and depressed". When she was holding Mytho's body while transformed as Princess Tutu did she not think, "it is too taboo to be caressing or hugging the body of my friend's boyfriend". Not once did she care about Rue's feelings. Again, if someone did this to you in real life how would you feel.

>What kind of newfag nigger calls Duck a thot? Kill yourself
>I hate to see new anons act disrespectful towards Duck.
Duck seems to be a man stealer from what I've seen from her. She isn't an untouchably pure character like Yotsuba, so quit being surprised by criticism of her actions.

It was well established that they were a couple though.

> pic related was his response when asked if he loved Rue.
That was because he literally didn’t have emotions or a sense of self yet. Mytho in the early episodes was basically a walking doll that would do anything you asked.

>wanted to watch this show in summer 2010
>never did
>9 years later still haven't

It has unmemetically been a long fucking time

In the 10 years Yea Forums has talked about Princess Tutu, I have never seen such an autistic Ruefag so determined to push NTR on the show. All because you're emotionally damaged from a 3dpd. Fuck off

>ctrl+f ahiru

Maybe I don't go to Princess Tutu threads often but I find this strange that people are mostly calling her Duck.

You should notice that you are not talking about the show. You are talking about yourself.

Attached: freud-kun.png (681x696, 150K)

>She was never doing what she did to make mytho date her. She loved him, but she knew he was already taken and completely unattainable.
I disagree. She seemed to realize that the more feelings she gave him the more of a chance she would have at taking him for herself. I could never be Princess Tutu. My morals would prevent me from actively trying to change the mind of someone who is already in an active relationship. I don't care how much I loved the person, I would never bring myself to do something so dirty. Especially if it was a friend's significant other. Rue was very nice to Duck during the first episodes. Duck repaid her kindness by NTRing her.

Yea Forums called her Duck back in the day because that is how they did it on the original fan sub

See

>real life cuck freaking out about princess tutu
I bet OP kissed his ex girlfriend after she sucked the other guy’s dick

In the end she was never doing it for herself though, she was doing it for Mytho, it’s not like she was changing his mind, she was returning his own emotions to him so he didn’t have to exist as a husk.

She even tries to give up on being tutu after Mytho freaks out when he gets his sense of fear back, but Mytho himself asks duck to restore his feelings to him no matter the consequences.

And as it was, even up to the end of the first season she was willing to disappear forever if it meant he got another heart shard.

Princess Tutu plot synopsis
>A crow and a carefree boy are living happily. Until one day, a duck girl, who is friends with the crow, decides to use black magic to change the boy's feelings towards the crow. The crow girl gets NTR'd hard, and learns a hard lesson about not keeping an eye on THOTs at all times.

Don't make the same mistake the crow girl did. If an innocent "friend" comes into your life and starts trying to make your significant other change for them, then you should say these words with me. Begone thot. youtube.com/watch?v=rnWUbsBxB6s

> living happily
If you call a guy with no emotion or sense of self‘happy’ then you’ve got problems.

Also how is it NTR if Mytho and Duck never dated and Mytho ends up with Rue?

The version I watched switched back and forth. Sometimes it makes sense to call her duck but most of the time she's being called it as her name, so there it should be Ahiru.

>If you call a guy with no emotion
Even though he had no heart he still felt a desire to protect weak things such as animals. Which means he still has some feelings.

That was just in his nature to sacrifice himself. Other than that he was a complete pushover who’d just do anything you ask no question. He even admits in like, the second or third ep that at that point he has literally no feelings for Rue and is only going out with her because she told him to. He eventually gets feelings for her as the shards come back, but at the start of the series Mytho is absolutely not ‘happy’

Neither is Rue to some degree, considering she was basically manipulated from birth to think that no one could ever love her and that her only chance for it would be from the emotional husk Mytho.

I wish Ahiru's voice actor got more roles. Chou Kadou's Nona kinda sounds like her. I love those kinds of scratchy voices.

I think that's the episode where Kraehe steals one of the heart shards from Mytho by ripping it out of him, episode 7.

I watched Princess Tutu dubbed. And I'm a subfag. Is this bad?

Nah, that's not the episode. And I've looked through a few other episodes around there and in other parts of the show and haven't been able to find it. It doesn't look like it's from a promo but maybe it is.

Attached: PrincessTutuCrow.webm (640x480, 1.13M)

Tutu's dub wasn't bad, the stiffness of some of the line readings/translations actually ended up fitting with the sort of creepy storybook feeling.

Plus the girl who played Duck was genuinely pretty good, was able to do the soft emotive stuff and the cute but slightly annoying kid voice.

Rue was pretty good too, everyone else was more or less average.

As I always say, if you don't understand Japanese, then either way then it doesn't really matter.

>a plot about NTR.
By that logic, most shoujo series are about NTR.

The same kind of Pornhubber who uses 'dicked-down' in a sentence.

In most shoujo shows we don't see a protagonist trying to steal her friend's boyfriend. Can you educate me and explain to me how Princess Tutu is not about NTR? Rue had Mytho all to herself. Then Duck showed up and slowly pulled Mytho away from Rue. By the end of season 1 Rue was alone crying herself to sleep while Duck was probably transforming into Princess Tutu to ride Mytho's baloney pony. If this isn't NTR what is?

He quite literally had no feelings but whatever

Ahiru and Mytho never have any kind of relationship. And by the end of season 1 Ahiru and Fakir are basically married.

Attached: PrincessTutuSwitch.jpg (768x614, 390K)

Attached: mpv-shot0003.jpg (960x720, 108K)

Tutu and Mytho never got together and Mytho ended up with Rue anyway, thats how its not NTR.

Even by the end of season 1 Duck doesn't ask Mytho to date or or vice versa.

Duck loved Mytho but makes no real romantic attempts on him, the only time she fights for his attention is in the case where he'll be put into an eternal coma if she doesn't.

> Then Duck showed up and slowly pulled Mytho away from Rue.
She was returning his emotions and sense of self to him, without that he was literally just a husk who'd do whatever you ask, and Duck even tried to stop doing it at one point because she thought the emotions he was getting back were hurting him, and only went back to doing it when he explicitly asked her to.

By the time he got all his emotions back he still chose Rue anyway and Duck was happy for them.

** added to that, even ducks "love" for Mytho was incredibly pure and naive, and by the time the second season really gets going she doesn't seem to think of him that way anymore anyway.

> ywn go live in a magical storybook with a prince bf

Attached: 1112312421214.jpg (620x348, 45K)

Let's ignore Mytho and just focus on what Duck did. She kept pursuing a man who she knew was already in a relationship. And to make it worse, it was her friend's boyfriend. There's an old saying, "just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score" but out of principle would you ever be dirty enough to pursue your friend's love interest?

>He quite literally had no feelings but whatever
A lot of young, highly attractive males are emotionless and carefree about life.

>Meant to say pic related was his response when asked if he loved Rue.
I remember in my first relationship, I wondered if I actually loved the person or if it was just lust. Love is a very complex thing. Mytho was very carefree and seemed to not know what he wanted, but I don't think he was a brainless puppet. He wouldn't have been able to dress himself if that was the case.

Even if Mytho didn't love Rue, does that automatically give Duck the greenlight to take her friend's love interest? Do you have a friend in real life, do you realize how much you would hurt someone if you stole their lover away from them?

this level of shitposting is unreal

Duck didn't end up with Mytho, you are correct. But Princess Tutu (who is Duck) did end up with him. Mytho was progressively falling in love with Princess Tutu and by the end of season 1 he couldn't stop thinking about her. It ended with them holding hands and being affectionate with each other. For all we know she could have fucked Mytho in her Princess Tutu form after the ending of season 1.

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-05-02 at 11.54.47 PM.png (917x681, 827K)

There's a second season you know.

Fakir best boy.

Attached: TSUUUUUUU.png (630x430, 387K)

> But Princess Tutu (who is Duck) did end up with him

No, she didn't. all they did was dance, and that was because Edel asked them to, and at the start of the second season we see clearly there is still no romantic relationship between them.

Even on re-watches the episode where he cries by the lake and hugs duck is emotional as hell, Fakir was such a good boy.

>and at the start of the second season we see clearly there is still no romantic relationship between them
In the start of the 2nd season Mytho is running around looking for Princess Tutu. Again, Duck could have been sleeping with Mytho in her Princess Tutu form for all we know.

Except there's literally no indication of that whatsoever, duck has all the memories of princess tutu and wouldn't still be so awkward around him if theyd fucked, neither duck, tutu, or mytho mentions anything about that happening.

>** added to that, even ducks "love" for Mytho was incredibly pure and naive
The only thing pure and naive about their relationship is the fact that they both haven't hit puberty. They both probably don't even know what sex is.

Attached: _.png (388x239, 128K)

kraehe absolutely did though

Attached: 4214152154141.jpg (480x360, 12K)

When she is Princess Tutu she is significantly more confident around him. See the picture here []. The only male she seems to be comfortable with in her normal form is Fakir who is the best boy.

I was happy for the crow girl in that scene. She reverse NTR'd the duck girl.

I don't understand your feelings about this.

Princess Krahe did genuinely want Mytho, but existed as part of an abusive relationship with her father. And she kind of knows that what she was doing to him was evil, but she's driven to try to keep Mytho in spite of that.

So, If Krahe is kinda whiny I'm certain its because she's being internally torn apart.

> Mytho was living carefree.

BS. Sure Mytho was living "carefree", if you consider being a lobotomy patient "carefree".

Duck, Princess Tutu, loved the Prince to a degree, and so willed to try to do something to help him.

She just muscles in on them and takes him. what a Chadette

Also, Duck never had a chance, not that she was really trying to that end. One of Mytho's Heart shards was devotion. The girl who was inhabited by it obsessively painted Rue.

Face it, Duck's a Fakiri

lol, Fakir had to take responsibility after seeing Duck naked.

My problem is that Mytho flat out rejected Krahe once he got his heart back in the end of season 1 for Princess Tutu. I just think a girl's normal reaction to being outright rejected for another girl would be sorrow, shame, embarrassment, depression, and anger towards both Princess Tutu and Mytho. A normal girl would never want anything to do with Mytho again after being so unambiguously rejected in a cold blooded manner. So that begs the question, wtf is her motives in season 2. Is she just obsessed with living up to the crow character she is in story. Would she be contempt with living with a brainless/heartless Mytho who is just a living doll who she can dry hump and molest whenever she is horny such as the case in this picture .

In other words, Duck said, "Mytho isn't happy with you bitch so I'm taking your man!". Sounds like every episode of Jerry Springer. Just because your friend's girlfriend isn't happy in her relationship doesn't give you a moral high ground to steal his girl from him.

Except, Krahe isn't a normal girl.
She's in part being brainwashed or manipulated by the Great Raven into clinging on to Mytho. Otherwise, she would've reacted in a manner similar to how she did with Femio.
That isn't to say that her feelings for Mytho (or whatever she developed) aren't real.

You can't frame Tutu's attempts to help Mytho as trying to steal him from Rue. Those are two separate things, sir.

Even in season 1 Rue wasn't that coldly rejected, the heart shard chose tutu because her love was 'purer' that Kraehe's was at the time, and considering that Kraehe herself was saying she wanted to put Mytho into a magical coma it seems reasonable to think that her feelings weren't really true at that point, even if they did come from genuine love as we saw later.

Her motivation for most of season 2 was mostly just her following her 'father' since she had no idea what to do after that. She couldn't give up on Mytho even after losing the fight to Tutu because her 'father' had manipulated her into thinking she's utterly disgusting and unlovable and that a heartless Mytho is the only person she could be with. So she did what he said and soaked the love shard in crows blood, it's only really after all that shit in season 2 with Mytho turning evil/into a crow that she sorts through her real feelings and remembers the pure love she had for Mytho when she was a child before the 'father' fucked everything up, which are her real feelings.

Then the finale happens and happy ever after.

He's shitposting user, just leave it, he'll never stop with the completely retarded arguments.

>You can't frame Tutu's attempts to help Mytho as trying to steal him from Rue. Those are two separate things, sir.
We could only separate those things if Tutu was brainless and lacked basic observation skills. Tutu realized that each time she brought a piece of Mytho's heart he liked her more and Rue less. Literally everyone noticed this trend including Rue, Fakir, Tutu, and Mytho himself. From Tutu's perpective I don't blame her. My crush was already taken, but these heart pieces I keep finding seems to be changing his mind which will give me a chance to take him from Rue.

> projecting

In the episode where Tutu gave Mytho fear, she began to question if her actions were what is best for Mytho or if she was just doing it for her own selfish purposes. Tutu concluded it was the latter, and only went back to collecting the shards after Mytho himself asked her to continue.

I was referring more to the last part of the previous post.

This fag here is just blogposting about getting dumped.

Rue is cute. Duck is also cute.

I just go with the majority of existing posts. Ahiru is Duck, and Duck is Ahiru.

this

I think Princess Tutu was lowkey trying to use metaphors to depict a typical case of two teens who were in a steady, but unhappy relationship. Rue wanted the relationship to stay the same, but Mytho was bored and wanted more. Enter the duck girl, who tries to get Mytho to change his hobbies and hangout with her more. Slowly but surely, she seduces him into liking her more and hating Rue. You got too blinded by all of the metaphors and magical stuff, and failed to realize this was a simple case of a thot stealing another girl's man. It is only remotely bearable to watch because the NTR is happening with prepubescent teens. If they were older and Tutu was having rough sex with Mytho behind Rue's back the show would be unbearable. The NTR would be too disturbing for us to watch. What I hate the most about the duck girl is that she keeps saying she's friends when she sees Rue in person, but she's quietly creeping on her friend's boyfriend in private.

you could at least try and be subtle with the shitposting user.

That's an awful nice town you've got there. Sure would be a shame if someone wrote about it...

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 14K)

Oh, crap.

>What I hate the most about the duck girl is that she keeps saying she's friends when she sees Rue in person, but she's quietly creeping on her friend's boyfriend in private.
I would have no problem with Duck's seduction of Mytho if she was honest about it. Or even better, if she wasn't friends with Rue. I recall in one episode where Tutu is groping and cuddling with Mytho then 2 minutes later she's in front of Rue and says "hi friend!" With friends like Duck, who needs enemies. If you're deeply in love with your friend's boyfriend then you should be honest and tell them about it.

Crow girl won, though. While Duck made a knight a furry.

>The only thing pure and naive about their relationship is the fact that they both haven't hit puberty
Reminder that if you're 14 years old bellow and you say you are madly in love, you're full of bullshit.

Fuck you Fakir best boy.

youtube.com/watch?v=S0oj6ur-E-c

A girl not hitting puberty by 14 is pretty uncommon, the norm is like, 10.

But Fakir was part of the story.

He broke Drosselmeyers writing machine in the tower during the last episode (though even before that it was shown that he, and the other characters, could break free of their story constraints anyway.) and started writing his own story.

I wasn't talking puberty wise, teenagers are too immature to think someone making their heart go doki doki once mean they're soulmates.

Anime characters are typically younger than I think they are. If duck is 14 then she's much older than I thought she was. I assumed she was 9 or 11 at the oldest.

Nope, she, Fakir, and Rue are all stated to be 14.

Though I don't think Mytho ages since he looked the same back when Rue was a little kid.

**whoops, my mistake, Fakir is actually meant to be 16.

She doesn't act her age then. She acts like someone who was raised by animals.

She's a fucking duck.

>self insert fan-fiction writer with the power to make his fan-fiction real

One of the best parts of the series was the implied ending of Fakir turning Duck back into a girl.

>Duck is constantly trying to steal Rue's boyfriend, yet she claims to be "friends" with Rue
But she's not trying and is actively avoiding it. She literally states and knows she can never be with him and she accepts that fact from the beginning of the show. She's trying to get close to him to help him with the shards, not to be his girlfriend, especially when she actively rejects it so many times.
The first reason was the storytelling rule of her disappearing into nothingness if she does, second reason because she genuinely stops giving a shit about him romantically and views him as a sympathetic person she wants to save. She never accepts his love when he offers it to her dozens of times and she is a straight out self-sacrificial character.

I understand what bugs you but that's not the case in the Princess Tutu story. The shit you're describing is indeed irritating and it's actually portrayed negatively in a lot of shojo mangas. What you describe was for example portrayed in Hana Yori Dango where several wenches throughout the story try to befriend a girl in order to get closer to the man who's in love with her.

> Of Fakir turning Duck back into a girl
When is that implied? His whole talk about their real selves in the lake of despair made it sound like he wanted Duck to be true to her real form.

I mean I guess you could think that maybe he'd turn her back into a girl occasionally or let her keep the ability to talk, but that's purely in the realm of headcanon.

I barely read this thread but his show is my absolute favorite anime and has thematic depth I have yet to see matched in another show, Rue is my waifu and I shill it on [s4s] all the time.

True, but c'mon. It's the headcanon of me and just about everyone else who watched the show and enjoyed it.

I was somewhat offended seeing an anus like this of a character who is very young. I didn't think they were allowed to draw anuses in anime. I wonder if duck has a Cloaca (which is what birds use to pee, poop, and reproduce).

Too many spoilers in this thread.

I can imagine being moderately attractive and acquainted with more than one young female. Was there supposed to be a point somewhere in your post?

Can he fuck a duck? Because he's in love with one. I see no harm in making Duck a girl again for some time.

You need to go back to /r/cuck/.

Spicy hot take, user. This show gets better with every rewatch.

It's nice to think about, but you also need to keep in mind one of the main points of the series is to be true to your real self, not any role set upon you.

Not him but teenagers are the ones who experience the purest of love, often selfless and hundred times more intense than people above 20 with several partners behind them. Maturity has literally nothing to do with the psychology of falling in love.

>But she's not trying and is actively avoiding it.
It is sleep time for me, but I think you need to rewatch the series. Here is a scene from episode 8 where she is crying on her pillow because she is worried that the prince only likes Tutu and not her normal self.

>She's trying to get close to him to help him with the shards, not to be his girlfriend
You make it sound like she had no romantic interest in him and was only doing it because she was bored. Why would a girl cry herself to sleep on her pillow caring about what an attractive boy thought about her if she didn't have romantic feelings towards him.

The age of his body isn't canonically defined if I remember, but if Fakir is 17 I'd give Mytho between 15-17.

>she is crying on her pillow because she is worried
>You make it sound like she had no romantic interest in him
Nig read the post. I straight out say that she had romantic feelings for him, but NEVER aspired or tried to by his girlfriend. Then later these feelings switch from romantic to friendship, read the post, Jesus.

GOD I wish that was me

The old official site that had all the small character details got taken down ages back, but it has Duck and Rue being 14, and Fakir being 16. Mytho's a special case since he doesn't age though, we at least know that he's BEEN 14-ish for at least 10 years since we see him with little toddler Rue.

This, she liked him, but even then she never really made any attempt to date him, then by the time season 2 happened she didn't seem to really want to.

Now I understand why everything went to shit when I lived in Germany. Fuck Drosselmeyer.

Mytho is a literal 2D husbando, you can't compete

I mean at that point in time he was literally just body with no memories or sense of self.

Here is a clip from episode 7 where she says she was blinded by love and isn't fully sure if collecting the shards is what Mytho wants. You make it sound like she was all business and no pleasure and that she had no ulterior motives to collecting the shards. I think a better explanation of Duck is that she was initially madly in love with Mytho, but has been struggling with the idea of taking him from Rue.

What's super creepy about this scene is that earlier she confronts Rue and says, "you do realize Mytho has no heart" and Rue responds, "I love him regardless". If duck was a friend she would have fucked off at that moment and never tried to get in the way of Rue's love again. Regardless if Duck thinks Mytho isn't happy in the relationship, it doesn't change the fact that Rue is in love with him. It is quite frankly, none of her business to be medaling in the love life of Rue.

How to level up in anime:
>Fakir rises from the villain character into the writer himself/new love interest
Literally the most based CHAD in all of anime and a certified /ourguy/.

Also after she makes that realisation she goes to Mytho herself and says she wont hurt him anymore for her own selfish reasons, to which he explicitly asks her to help him get the shards back.

> If duck was a friend she would have fucked off at that moment

And again, she follows that idea once she realises shes being selfish until Mytho asks her to help him return his heart. Why does Rue's preference get elevated over Mytho himself wanting his heart to be returned to him?

Can you at least pretend like you have a social life and comprehend social interactions. If your friend's girlfriend isn't sure about the relationship, what the hell does that have to do with you? You have no right to interfere with their relationship. Also, if you have a crush on your friend's girlfriend would you not recognize the conflict of interest of you trying to manipulate the feelings of your friends girlfriend.

>medaling in the love life of Rue.
Only she didn't know Rue existed before she started her role as Mythos shard collector.
You on the other hand make it sound like her connection with Mytho is through Rue which it is not, and her question to Rue wasn't just about Rue's relationship to Mytho. She wanted to know how Rue feels but also asked that to see who knows what of the reality they live in as well as the personal drama, and even later she does the same thing by asking around with Fakir about the rules and reality of their surroundings. At that point she simply wanted to see what Rue not only feels but also knows since she was actively doing research and she hangs out with people like Pike and Lillie who have no clue about what's going on. Didn't you notice that she's asking people around to see what they know about the stories and reality merging, or is it just about the love drama for you?
As for ulterior motives, I don't even know what you're arguing about. She is selfless in her love and well as friendship and expects nothing back nor accepts it when offered. The scene you posted as well as many others describe her self-criticism and emotionality and have little to do with actual human hypocrisy and dishonesty. Unless you forgot, the anime itself canonises her as a tragic and sacrificial character and she never at any point demonstrates the opposite, except in her nightly dreams and daily fantasies.

The problem is you're taking every scene out of the context of the logic of the animes story and universe and translating it into your own practical reality and seeing to what it might correspond. That's not a good way of analyzing an anime or manga.

>what the hell does that have to do with you?
Here:Rue is not the center of the story user.

It has nothing to do with Mytho and Rues relationship, it has to do with Mytho wanting his emotions and sense of self back and Tutu being the only one that can do it.

She loves him so of course she wants to help him regardless of whether she gets anything in return.

this, seems like all the other anons posts are just him projecting

>Mytho is a literal 2D BDSM slave, you can't compete
ftfy
Fakir is the husbando of the story.

>She has pondered what Mytho thought about him.
Yes. But she constantly reminded herself that they couldn't be together anyways and that a prince couldn't fall in love with a duck, even if she liked dreaming about it she never made her help depend on him reciprocating her feelings

>tfw no girl like Ahiru to make your princess
