Surpriselly (and sadly), no. The only time they did something like that was on Arc-V, it was the most fanservice season about other cards.
One could say that VRAINS and maybe the other seasons if I didn't forget it did put other monsters (in VRAINS case, there was a Zoodiac Ratpier), but they didn't throw a loved deck into it like Gem-Knights, Constellar, X-Saber, and others for real duels. Even in the worst moments of Arc-V, there was (terrible but very fanservicy) a mini arc with Gladiator Beast. Apparently it was the favourite of the director back then.

It isn't. After all your monsters have attacked in the Battle Phase, you can still special summon a monster. That newly summoned monster then can attack. A certain idol-themed deck is infamous for this tactic.

Odd-Eyes is definitely great ace. It's a weak monster that slowly becomes stronger via support and upgraded variants. As opposed to Firewall Dragon, that was an insanely OP ace that got banned and ignored the year after.

It's a overly complicated design and realistcally doesn't seem he would be able to stand on his own with all that weird armor.
The thing that bothers me more is that weird horns in his back that isn't simmetrical, are way too big and aren't even sharp so can't be used to attack.

Earth would usually be defense points in a defensive fashion, but those don't exist in links so effect negation or protection should go with it. Traditionally fire would be associated with burn damage. Maybe it would be better if it fell in line with the ingis in the show though. In which case Light would be an attack doubler or negator.

Possibly, but I doubt it. Windy is negligible as a character outside being an ignis, so his origin, who doesn't even have a name two thirds into the series, is considerably less important. It would be reasonable enough for Windy if he were reverted, but it would be Takeru-level of forcing to give his partner relevance. Personally, I think Windy can stand without his origin, whether his programming is reverted or he just builds from what he's got.

He comes back because even though he's a hack, he gets the job done well enough for the suits up top. It's less of a risk to bring back a clown like Yoshida than to chance fresher writer botching things.

Everytime a character changes his avatar it means a sort of maturity like Emma, Ryoken, Aoi (with Go being the exception) so it would make sense if Yusaku has a new one to show how much he changed after this.
