you're right, OPM is much more boring than Mob

Prove me wrong

You're wrong.

As a character? Maybe. Saitama was created for a single gag, Mob was created with a series in mind.
In a fight? Saitama should be able to clench it, because he's a gag character, where as Mob is closer to a serious character.

Saitama needs some serious character development, but part of me thinks that would go against Saitama and his "already developed physically and mentally" character.

You're a good boy Tanjirou, don't worry.

Well, he's bigger, so yeah, you win.

What happened to the boku in the first episode anyway?

I'll be frank: Mob is boring as shit and I think the series is ABSURDLY overrated. I kind of get why you COULD like it, but boy do I not like it.

Both are trash.

BASED

No. You made the assertion, the burden of proof is on you. The burden of proof lies with someone who is making a claim, and is not upon anyone else to disprove. The inability, or disinclination, to disprove a claim does not render that claim valid, nor give it any credence whatsoever. However it is important to note that we can never be certain of anything, and so we must assign value to any claim based on the available evidence, and to dismiss something on the basis that it hasn't been proven beyond all doubt is also fallacious reasoning.

I really don't understand the hype it gets, its kind of funny and boring in parts but i've only seen the first season so maybe it gets better

The Mogami and Reigen arcs are some of the best episodes I've seen in an anime in a while. They both take place during the 2nd season so I'd recommend for just that even if you didn't really feel the first season.

one is a guy coming to terms with his place in the world and another is a guy who has given up on the world

Based.

I bet you self insert as mobert

a man who has the power to destroy anything guaranteed is more powerful then the most powerful psychic, because saitama has an insurance to destroy anything no matter how powerful, mob is just, strong, hes literally a god, to some limit

They are both garbage.

>Saitama = Mob

mob‘s story is about a teenager going through puberty (amplified by esper powers)
opm is about a guy who is... stronk

Well ONE seems to be interested in dealing with the problems that surround saitama in the manga, that coupled with the stuff that happened in the webcomic he is probably going to expand on it moving forward, saitama can't keep brushing off this stuff and it seems to be happening more frequently.

Guy with depression > Autist kid with social problems.

this. mob is deeper, opm funnier/more entertaining

If you have no idea of what you are talking about the shut your faggot mouth.

saitama is stronger than tatsumaki and one has said tatsumaki is stronger than mob.
case closed

>tatsumaki is stronger than mob
But is she stronger than ???%?

No, Shigeo is probably on Awakened Garou levels of power.

This place is full of underaged kids who think they're smart and that Mob is deep. Kys.

>Tatsumaki can pull a FUCKING METEOR from space
She's ridiculously strong

Any anime that doesn't take place in high school automatically gets an extra point. Winner opm.

Mob is in middle school though.

mob is a younger saitama, he lost his memories

Amnesia doesn't cure autism.

esper kid becoming normal adult versus all-powerful adult learning to live as a man

based

That's kinda gay

Different flavors really. Mob is a bland-ish character who seems uninterested in the world but then learns to show more emotions and think for himself so you grow to like him.

Saitama seems like the version of Mob you already like but all grown up with no room for character development.

Both are amusing unique characters and don't really seem too interested in the Shonen setting they're in, just their own lives because they're so OP.

Saitama responded to the "Why are you a hero" with "for fun" though...

You're right
Mob is a better developed character and has better writing, I think

dub is out.

They wouldn't even fight each other in the first place.

OPM is about a guy who has lost touch with his humanity because he has nothing to struggle against. It posits that it's not the end goal that gives human beings meaning to our lives, it's the journey to get there.

Mob Psycho is great but there are plenty of stories in fiction of all genres that deal with the concept of growing up and becoming your own person.

I can buy the argument that Mob Psycho is better executed as a story, but it's a theme that's been done to death.

can't disagree with that
