Hinamatsuri was funny in the anime.
But the manga is actually hilarious, and I'd recommend reading the manga before watching the anime because the jokes are done better in the source material.
Certain jokes had me actually laughing really hard, when most japanese humor (that isn't shit) leaves me with just a smile or a chuckle.
