Also bossu doesn't know DIO is a vampire and that could mean he could be lured to a false sense of security.
Both stands are really powerful, but don't forget that DIO's range is way too high for a power stand.
All things considered, I'd give it to DIO. I mean, motherfucker can stop time for 10 seconds, hit you with The World from 10m and drop a fucking Steamroller on your head. Diavolo is kind of fucked.

If DIO stops time, Diavolo can't erase shit until time goes back to normal. He could decide to check Epitaph to see what happens but if time is stopped, he would just get Kakyoin'd anyway, even before he sees the result or can attemp to erase it.

Fucking this, bossu is literally the hardest counter to Dio ability wise, just use epitaph to see the result of the time stop and erase that micro second.
He's literally the strongest stand in Jojo (excluding shit like GER and Made in Heaven), the only one who can compare is Tusk act 4 but Johnny needs to set it up first.

From my understanding, it depends on when KC gets activated. If Diavolo sees that Dio will stop time and erases the moment time is stopped, he could win. But if Dio activates The World first, Diavolo is stuck in frozen time.
