what anime did you watch after DBZ/Naruto? Does it still hold up now?
Gateway anime
Never seen DBZ or Naruto. My starters, in order:
>Sherlock Hound
>Pokemon
>Kiki's Delivery Service
>Cowboy Bebop
Gundam
>DBZ, Naruto
I watched sailor moon before either of these
Holy shit was this one bad when it came to exposition, it was info dump after info dump.
well for me it was reborn and hxh. And they definitely did not hold up. Reborn's plot is worse then mha's and the ending is the one worst in shonen history. Hunter x hunters's author has difficulty conveying the characters actions and personality and has to resort to explaining in text for brainlets whats going on -plus togashi forgot how to draw. But atleast the plot's better then reborn's shitshow
When i was a wee lad, i watched anime that my country had localized. Sailor moon, Sakura Cardcaptor, DBZ, Pokemon, and other stuff
I got into anime proper with one piece back in W7-Triller bark.
I think i watched Hellsing Ultimate, then Evangelion, TTGL, and started watching more seasonal stuff.
it was either Angel Beats or Bakugan..
>that one subhuman Yea Forumstard who bumps bait threads from the last page
>Initial D
Fuck yeah man. It's dumb as hell but I still love it
I wanted to fuck Diva so much,
She raped a shota, based
I first watched Pokemon, Sailor Moon and then Dragon Ball, then maybe Beyblade and YuGiOh.
My first anime was a DBZ recap special that covered up to Trunks' arrival. It came in a Frosted Flakes box.
After that, I experience DB through vidya, and sometimes I'd see an episode of Naruto.
Then, my first actual anime I saw in full was Digimon Adventure 01, while watching original DB on the side. Both I see as amazing anime. Ended up watching the entire DB franchise and getting into the DBO lore, as well as seeing up to Digimon Frontier (5th series didn't interest me). Loved both franchises, still love them to this day, ignoring DBS.
Then there was a period where I fell out of anime. The thing that got me back in was Kaiji, ended up going through FKMT's entire back catalog and that pushed me into JoJo's and HxH thanks to Yea Forums.
The first anime I ever watched was Kill la Kill, followed by FLCL and Samurai Champloo
The first anime I watched was Sakura card captor
FISH TITTIES
>gateway anime
>bleach and naruto
If Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist, Love Hina, Cowboy Bebop and Yu Yu Hakusho arent your gateway anime, you are definitely a faggot
Full Metal Alchemist 2003 or Death Note.
I don't know about now, but Attack on Titan was always the default gateway anime among my high school classmates. That, alongside Death Note and FMAB, was how I started getting into anime again (though as a kid I watched a lot of sci-fi titles like Trigun and Outlaw Star, along with the more standard stuff like Pokemon and the Studio Ghibli films once they got dubbed by Disney). I'm guessing these days the gateway anime for adolescents are BnHA and OPM.
Bebop, Kill la Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, Trigun, all enjoyed at the time
gateway anime
>fma brotherhood
>deathnote
>kenichi, world's greatest disciple
>cowboy bebop
>space dandy
>one punch man
>kill la kill
