They changed a lot of stuff and outright cut some subplots and events. Not to mention the first half of season 3 is very rushed which fails to give impact to the last episodes. The cave scene lacks a lot of impact that was present in the manga due to slow buildup which isn't there in the anime.

Not him but after episode 7 or so its very accurate, the butchered part was the political shit to be more "accesible" aka normalfag friendly and it was mostly moving the order of some shit. You missed eren training building houses, levi choking historia thus leading into the punch thing in episode 10 which felt of nowhere in the anime, some characterization for minor characters like the merchant dudes and also erwin if I am correct (the marie/nile shit was that arc if I remember correctly), just kidding gesumin and the eren and historia conversation of episode 1 being 1000 times better in the manga.
If you are interested in checking, uprising arc are chapters 51-70

There are nine titans shifters and that shit has been foreshadowed since the fucking beginning. Nine characters are not everyone. And its not like the people with "powers" got them magically, 6 of the nine titans came from the warriors who invaded paradis (reiner, bert, annie, pieck, zeke and marco who later got eaten by ymir). The other two came from royal houses (Founding and warhammer) and finally the last one is the one eren got along with the founding who his father ate.

Its honestly kind of sad that so many people on Yea Forums refuse to read it, it actually is a great manga. I've never read anything that made every single character so morally grey. The narrative doesn't even try to pretend that someone is "right" anymore, you're supposed to pick your favorite side with all of its pros and consequences. It's honestly a great experience
