What speed do you watch your anime on Yea Forums?

I like doing 1.5x because it is that happy medium between too slow and too fast

i watch it at normal speed because i'm not slow like you

I screencap every frame, then print them and rapidly flip through them

>not watching 4 episodes at the same time at 2x so you can finish a cour in 36 minutes
Pleb

>not watching the entire series in 8 seconds clip all in 1 video
Laughable.

shitty b8

I just read the summary and add the series as watched to my anime list so I can brag here about how many animes I have watched.

>Not Redrawing every single frame yourself then making a flip book comprised of thousands and thousands of pictures
Pathetic.

I know this is probably a joke, but if there's people who actually do this. What the actual fuck is wrong with you ?

I actually have done that when something drags on for way too long but I'm too invested to drop it. Kaiji S2 is a good example when a single bog game lasted for over half of the season.

>I pretend to like and watch anime to pad my MAL page
Pathetic.

Depends. If I watch SoL I watch it at twice the speed, three shows at a time. If I watch a mix I usually speed up the SoL and leave mystery or thriller at around 1.5. Depends a bit on my mental capability on a given day. If I am tired I might settle for 1.25, but if I have to go lower I'd rather not watch it in the first place.

HELLSHAKE HELLSHAKE

What did you say? Sorry I was thinking about something.

This guy gets it. I find that the best experience comes when watching 2 shows simultaneously, one "main" at 1.25 and one "fluff" at 1.75. Though the last few weeks I have considered setting up a third monitor where I can run some seasonal stuff at 2.5 times speed. It really improves the watching experience when you always have something to focus on.

was it autism ?

if i understood nip i would totally up the speed above the normal speed but since thats not the case well you know

but the speed tool has become a godsend for watching any other media i understand, imagine wasting 10 minutes of your life on an endgame review when you can get the same content in 4

what is your max speed Yea Forums mine is 4x

I watch series in 1.5x but mosty best genre - native isekai. I also watch time flops at 2x speed to not waste time on them.

imagine watching shounen at 1.0 speed instead of doing like paper intended by rapidly flipping the pages with your thumb to most accurately portray the act of teleporting behind you

Why does Yea Forums say stuff like this but then encourage padding with it's "you have to watch 1000 series" nonsense

Imagine being so retarded that you watch reviews instead of forming your own opinion

Why are you taking this boards "standards" seriously? Most people who call themselves oldfags have never engaged with animation beyond superficial levels. They have barely seen anything from before 2005, let alone watched short films or documentaries. Most Anons refuse to watch movies, too, because movies lack the seasonal shitposting threads. Peolpe on this board also claim that dropping bad shows is an indicator that you actually "do not like anime".

Don't listen to Yea Forums. If you ever want to be competent in regards to anime, ever want to actually understand industry relationships, animation techniques, artistic merit, good writing, anything, honestly, then you will treat this board as what it is: the internets shitposting central where "oldfags", who have seen no more than 500 anime, are proud about having shitposted for 15 years. It's a bit said that they know about as much about Japan and animation as someone who has seriously engaged with this hobby for a mere 12months, but that's how it is.

1.0x. I only watch yt videos at 1.25, 1.5 or 2.0 because retards talk slow for muh "the longer the video is the more ads we can put in".
Also, whenever I'm watching a western movie or series I always put it at 1.21x and sometimes 1.33x. I literally can't tell the difference between 1.0 and 1.2x playback speed outside of anime. Reducing the time spent mindlessly watching shit gives you more time to do something with your life.

I'd only do it for a shit anime that I'm either forced to watch or curious enough to speedrun it. I watch the current ygo at 1.5 or 1.75 speed because I have nostalgia for the game and the show is shit. That's the only anime I don't watch at 1.0.

oh wow oh man
What I said really cut deep, huh? It's been like what, a week now?
The idea that no one was circlejerking you for your elite and unique taste in watching movies instead of TV anime in that thread must have really thrown you for a loop.

>He doesn't watch it at 3.14x in a 10Mfps monitor.

>treat this board as what it is: the internets shitposting central
>yet complains you can't discuss anything here at a "deeper level"
Heh

>A thread died for this

I'm a big fan of this one

Wish I could watch anime in 2.35:1 21:9 aspect ratio same as movies on my ultrawide monitor.

What a shame.
