That might be how you feel, but that's not really what persona means. Even the manga itself explained it. A persona is a "mask that you show to other people". It's just meant to describe how people tend to act differently around different people. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not a part of "the real you", either.

These chapters, by the way, are about the method in which Kaguya interacts with other people. So, i think "our masks" is pretty apt. And it just sounds better.

Shirogane definitely uses a mask, it's just not the same type of issue Kaguya is going through. Where Kaguya sees her normal self as the mask that's covering her true self that she hates, Shirogane leans into his cool hardworking, perfectionist ideal because he thinks how he normally is undeserving of someone like Kaguya, and as a result he works himself to death trying to change who he is.

You can't really force the Sociopath mentality in someone, but having a fucked up upbringing can help with that I guess. She is self aware of her mentality, but wants to change it, but can't help herself because she just can't view certain things in a normal way.
She longs for kindness because it's something she feels she can't have because she can't see things that way, but I think she can be kind naturally, and it's mostly her upbringing clouding her mentality. If she is however, she's gonna have to pretend to be kind, or act in a way she thinks someone kind would act.

Not really, because you have empathy for other people, so you'll never be exactly the same.
