Deku has the potential to be one being basically All Might's intern and the entire series just being one big training arc

He'll get better after a few character deaths. All Might is gonna die, and at least one of his classmates. Then he will stop being a crybaby bitch by that point. right now he is annoying.

IDK he's kinda boring and feels really samey when compared to every other protagonist. I think the first 2 episodes of this show were a pretty nice, self contained story, but after that it just becomes generic shounen shit

No, he's boring, one dimensional, and follows every single cliche while not even being able to stay true to the underdog cliche as he was gifted immense power he just has to grow into (like every shounen MC). Most uninteresting character of the cast

I cant think of a single character in bnha that isn't cliche as fuck. They summarize their own stereotypes perfectly.

That's kind of part of the charm to me. I hate Deku but I like the series overall because of all the shows out this one fits the mostly light hearted saturday morning cartoon role better than any others. Deep? no. Predicatable? mostly. Entertaining? yeah.

He got boring after kamino. The plan he made to rescue bakugo was peak deku especially following up deku vs. Muscular. Deku vs. Kacchan 2 and onwards was awful for deku. He loses a fight everyone wanted him to win, then gets showed up by mirio, then offers him his quirk like an idiot and the gentle fight was basically him reminding us about his motives for the fifth time.
