I doubt it, but if it is I'm kinda whatever about it. Though, 10 page chapters shouldn't take very long.

The "new" EBJYahoo script from user doesn't work anyway.

Is EBJ even still worth it? Do they have anything you can’t get easier in the same quality from Amazon?

That's a real nut twister. I'm no dedicated ripper but I do upload a fair amount of stuff. Don't know the first thing about what services to use and with what scripts, and was using EBJ simply because I knew it worked.

I don't even know how to get anything from Amazon. I'll move to getting digital releases from there if it's simple. With EBJ, I just never bothered asking people for alternatives since the whole thing is, as I understand it, somewhat dicey given some sites monitor this kind of thing and update their readers to combat ripping.

Amazon is, when there’s no quality difference, the ideal place to rip because it’s very easy and you get the original jpgs, not recompressed and hence bigger pngs.

Cycomi now requires the mobile app to view old chapters so now I'm trying to figure out how to get a Japanese region google play account. Doesn't help that all my shit keeps getting flagged and locked whenever tunneling to a nip VPN.

Kobo and Amazon rippers are publicly available and will, most likely, almost never be patched for a long time since the amount of consumers is simply too high. There's no reason to use EBJ anymore anyway since they don't have their exclusive quality anymore which makes Amazon/Kobo/etc. superior because you get the nicely decrypted JPEGs from the EPUB directly.

Or you can just use QooApp to get the app.
And yeah, I noticed that about Cycomics when I went to grab the latest chapter (omake actually) of Murenase there. I find that silly.

Downloading the apk alone doesn't work (at least for me). I always get application error. Though I am using emulators to try to use the app and I have no clue what android version they support/if all 4 emulators I tried just don't work.

You need to install the APK. There's APK Installer on the store.

Wait, so normal APK installation is why it was failing? What does the APK installer do that dev mode + install apks doesn't?

Cycomi's app doesn't work on rooted phones, and emulators are usually rooted or recognized as such.
Use QooApp (it's like a weeb app store) to install it on a physical device, and to update it when needed. No need for proxies or VPNs.

Did you try Magisk Hide?

Alright got it working after hiding root + using a japanese vpn. Though too bad it worked on the worst emulator I have that has normal android proxy settings disabled so I can't even capture traffic to figure out the URLs. I might also have to spam even more accounts because the app has a coin system like Lezhin for latest releases, and I should take advantage of the free coin accounts while it lasts (which means changing the IMEI hardware address and/or changing google accounts). Not going to make the mistake of only making 30 accounts like I did for Lezhin to rip all the 4 cut hero comics (though Lezhin is way worse in terms of release delay so cycomi isn't that bad).

If you have time, there's a coin gacha each day, so you can recover them.
I follow only one manga there, but even after buying all the special content, I still have more than 500 coins.
You should get more than 100 coins per week if you play the gacha daily, which is enough for the one I follow (100 per chapter, 30 per omake).

How is it that Morning Two is the only thing on Amazon I can't rip? Does it have a different DRM key? I can rip regular Morning and pretty much every weekly mags, but not Morning Two.
